Goemans Appliances Kitchener

Updated edit: Goemans still refuses to replace the oven/microwave combo. It has since been installed by a separate install team. It worked long enough to do the 1h burn off after the installers left. When we went to use it again it worked for 3 seconds and died completely. I've received much better service from other companies in town in the past. We were clearly delivered a lemon, inside and out. It continues to be disappointing that Goemans refused to replace the oven at the 14 day mark vs 7, after their own installers recommended it not be accepted. We assume, given the structural damage to the oven, that whatever happened damaged internal components, causing the failure.

So incredibly disappointed with the level of service this company has provided, and at the lack of accountability and customer service. A damage wall oven was delivered and won't be replaced by Goemans. Backstory: We had a new kitchen going in - appliances cannot be installed before cabinets and counters, and appliances needed to be onsite at cabinet installation time, as per the design company. With counters, it automatically adds at least 7 days onto the time for the custom cut and final installation, so there is no way to have the appliances installed before that. The Goemans installation team (who were fantastic), noticed damage that is only visible upon installation, documented the damage and recommended we not accept the appliance. Now Goemans won't take responsibility because it was noted 7 days after delivery period.

Shortly after entering a very attractive showroom, we were offered help by Terri. She was very informative without being pushy. The entire process was efficient and positive.

Jane Walker at Goemans is the most knowledgeable, kindest, most helpful, and most patient salesperson imaginable. She attended to a host of issues and was a reassuring bright spot in a difficult new house build. It was a privilege to work with her.

In the past few years i have purchased several items from Goemans Appliances Kitchener. Their knowledgeable staff along with a great assortment of appliances simplified the selection process.

David Jacob provided excellent support helping us purchase a new oven. It is the second time that worked with him and each time he has been easy to work with. We highly recommend Goemans if you need to purchase a new appliance.

Answered the phone when I called and quite helpful on the phone and when selecting unit in the showroom. After that the machine took over with well communicated and flawless delivery

After having a terrible experience with another well known appliance supply store in Kitchener, I had them cancel my order after they couldn't follow through with delivery of my new range and ordered from Goemans. I had the range within a week as I was told I would have it. Will definitly be back to purchase any other appliances I need in the future.

Sales staff are knowledgeable and offer very competitive pricing. The installation team was professional and made sure they left everything clean.
Recently purchased another Fridge and Stove from Goemans. We had difficulty accessing the rebate offered by the manufacturer. The new store manager cleared it up and got us our rebate in a few days. Thanks Alex!

I love the Goeman's Kitchener experience. Shop wisely and the prices are very competitive. I've bought kitchen and laundry appliances at Goeman's and Michael has never steered me wrong. We bought all of our kitchen appliances from them, and they arrived in perfect condition and were installed flawlessly. Five years later, we encountered a problem with our wall stove which needed to be fully replaced, and we were grateful that we had purchased the extended warranty. Despite an increase in the unit's price, the service centre at Goemans worked with the warranty company to ensure that 100% of our original purchase price was refunded towards a new unit. I recently heard their private sale radio commercial talk about hassle free appliance purchasing and that made my blood boil.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!

My mother purchased a quite expensive Miele in-wall oven for her dream kitchen in 2019. She did her research and found some reviews saying the model she was looking at had some issues with keeping temperature and temperature spiking. She asked the sales associate about these reviews and she was assured that those problems had been fixed, so she went ahead and made the purchase.
Well, the first oven she got went kaput within the first week and the replacement unit has the temperature issues she was worried about. Since the replacement oven technically "works" she was told there is nothing that can be done. It has been 4 years and her baking has never been the same: (

Staff were much more knowledgeable and helpful than other places we shopped. Excellent selection. They match prices. Kept informed at every point until delivery. Very happy with purchase.
