I didn't think I would get my appliance on time, but I certainly did.

Richard was extremely helpful, professional and not pushy at all. We ordered our appliances a year ahead due to backorder. Throughout the year as I needed help or to add or change anything he was always happy to help. Even when I needed him to resend the specs or change delivery dates he was always positive and so friendly. He had great recommendations that suited our family.

What can I say but "Daren Lee" at Goemans, he has come through for us once again. First it was the new stove and now the new fridge. Daren is very knowledgeable on the product lines he supports and in both cases put us on the product that fit our needs perfectly.
His attention to detail allowed us to make the necessary modifications to our kitchen to ensure that the new fridge would fit perfectly when it arrived. The delivery was smooth and effortless and we have quickly established a new working relationship with our new fridge.
We trust Daren and if we have a need in the future we will for sure come looking for Daren, once again.

I would give NO stars if I could, one star is only to be able to leave review. The service from this company has been atrocious. Spend, spend, spend, take time off work to be there while repairs are happening. Our fridge has broken 7 times & tried to fix 7 times and STILL it keeps breaking. Now I'm having an issue again, and no help from Goemans. Apologies only go so far - fix the issues that YOU are selling people. I would never recommend Goemans to anyone, they will take your money & run.

I believe if Your company wanted the resolution to my problem you would follow up with fairstone and show me the documentations that I signed. I called your sale representatives as well as emailing your manager and sending a detailed letter but you told me that I should resolve the issue with fairstone and there is nothing that could be done. I gave your compnah 14000 business and you guys betrayed my trust without providing proper information about fairstone. I would never choose to finance from this company since I had the whole amount in my account at the time of purchase i only did it because your company told me that this is a free interest. I called fairstone to pay it off after two week the term was done but first if all their phone line for the head office dis not work and I received an invoice after few days that they called me and They already charged me 2000 dollars means 31 percent interest. I am looking for a resolution. You can ask Frank and he has my email address and you can email me to find a resolution also I want to know which branch of fairstone u applied for me.

Then, the follow up of delivery by email was consistent. Finally, the delivery crew was extraordinary and lastly the follow up by your team was the cherry on top. If you asked me if I'd use Goemans again for future appliances, I would say yes.

A BIG NO go based on my experience.
If I can give 0 star, I will give it. I don't really do a lot of reviews so far. But this one is really bad.
My story is long, in short, if you want to purchase from this store. Please take care of both Sales follow up&Customer service job by yourself, be aware you should not only give detail info but check every step. Else you may experience a huge disappointment like me.
Then here is the story:
When I made purchase, I said I want to get delivery ASAP. Sales told me the appliance may get delivered on Monday but for sure will get delivered on Tuesday if Monday is not happen. Then told me Monday 9: 30am I should receive a phone call. I waited whole day Monday, no call, no delivery. I called back and Sales told me he will do follow up Tuesday morning as it is almost 5pm and people are off. Based on my first talk, I immediately checked online and found customer service off at 6pm, I called them and was told delivery won't happen on Tuesday. But if sales do follow up before 1pm Monday, it should happen. So even before sales person, I know Tuesday will be no delivery. And no surprise, Tuesday I was told it won't happen. Got a list of wrong info, my wife told me you are just unhappy with their service, not product. So I didn't cancel the order, just talked to the manager and he said he could try to give some promotion for my next purchase. I thought this is end of story. But when Wednesday came, another drama began. The delivery address is a condo. The earliest elevator reservation is 9: 30am, I made call on Tuesday and told them I reserved elevator at 9: 30am Wednesday. Driver came around 8: 40am, then called me, I tried my best to get there at 9: 04am. Driver already left. I made phone call immediately and asked if this can be fixed same day. Customer service said they will call back in minutes. Then I waited for several hours and call them in afternoon. They said they will handle it, the result is they can't do even on Thursday and only can do on Friday. I said please sent me an email regarding to where I can do complaint and escalation, again, nothing came. Friday morning, finally it get delivered. I'm crossing finger and hope it will be good then I don't need to check with this store again.
So end of story, I always believe human will made mistake, but if a purchase process has problem in each step while customer is already doing follow up, that can't be easily by excused as careless, that is a systematic failure. And at last, I, as a customer, take all consequences of all these mistakes

Spent over $35k with them. Picked up fan insert and when I opened the sealed box it was damaged. No ownership on the issue and sent me to the manufacture to fight for a replacement.

Never again. Highly do not recommend. They should not be in business!

Ordered double wall oven on Oct 2021, and still not been delivered until 22nd of Mar 2022. The delivery team is been not helping at all. I have asked delivery team to open application for me for a free installation because my contractor can not wait for the double wall oven any longer.on 15th of Mar, rep from delivery team told me they have to open application for me to apply for free installation, then on 22nd of Mar, another rep told me he do not know what happened to the application and told me he can not do anything. Worst service I have ever seen in my entire life.

Darren Lee patiently stood by us for a good 2 hours or more answering all our questions and showing us around. He made sure we have all options at our disposal to meet our budget. He never made us feel pressured or obligated at any time. He respected our space when needed but within arm's reach to answer questions. The showroom was clean, organized and easy to navigate. Tons of selection but not overwhelming. The entire experience was very pleasant and the service unparalleled. I highly recommend to pay them a visit and ask for Darren before going anywhere else.

Excellent advice from Frank Reyhani about new kitchen and laundry appliances. There was delay, obviously, in Goemans obtaining the kitchen appliances from the manufacturer due to covid supply chain disruption but the estimated delivery date was quite accurate. This enabled us to make firm installation arrangements with our contractor. The delivery team was on time, as arranged. We are pleased with Goemans’ advice and service.

Delivery was on time (actually a bit early!), and the Precision delivery team were great - working well within a tight space. Overall a very positive experience. Horrible customer service. I ordered a fridge, washer and dryer, microwave, stove and dish washer from them. Not once did i receive any follow up from the sales person and was not informed about delivery charges. I was also not informed that the installations are not the same day. Let's face it how often do we buy aplliances! This is my first time in 15 years. And i specifically told them the delivery time as i live on a condo and have to reserve the elevator and only certain times is available and they still mess up for me. I had notified the sales person the manager and the customet service dept and they still screw up!
I do not recommend them to anyone.

It was such a pleasant experience at Goemans, from sales associate to the deliveries. My sales associate Melly was able to provide proper advice to me, gave me competitive pricing, I was aware of what my options were within my budget, after sale response was quick and efficient and of course courteous. The delivery process was overall really great, other than some items were originally in stock, then it went out of stock once I rescheduled the delivery, so I had to wait much longer for that. Otherwise, all the way to the precision delivery people, they were all very pleasant and well mannered. I was very happy with my experience and have recommended to my friends and family already!

Elly is absolutely amazing - she is SO patient and helpful - I likely changed my mind 10 times and she was fantastic and accommodating- really appreciate her patience and product knowledge- looking forward to receiving all appliances. We recently made a purchase at Goemans Appliances. It was a pleasure working with our sales representative. Our appliances were delayed due to large demand. Despite so, we are very pleased with our appliances, and the delivery. The delivery team took their time to ensure that our walls and stairs would not be scratched. We are now waiting for our final item - our dishwasher!

Great at billing c/c; absolute cr@p delivery & client service

I purchased all the appliances for my new house (~$15,000) from Goemans and the sales experience was fine.

Everything to do with the delivery and installation (that I had paid for) was putrid. I can’t imagine a more painful, time wasting, aggravating and inane experience.

The team from Miele that installed the dishwasher was excellent. Everyone else involved in delivery, installation and customer service ranged from mediocre to abysmal.

My builder, my wife and myself wasted so much unnecessary time because of these people. It seemed to be a deliberate strategy of deflecting and delaying. Trying to follow up with the people at Goeman’s was immensely frustrating: they were all consistently non responsive and disinterested.

Appliances seem to be commodities with the service and installation the differentiating factor.

THUS, ONLY SUGGEST GOEMANS TO SOMEONE YOU DISLIKE INTENSELY.

By the way, I went to Tasco’s in Richmond Hill (and dealt with Gilda) and the delivery experience was perfect.

But the joke is on me since Goemans owns Tasco apparently. Nonetheless, the Tasco delivery process seems 100x better.

Our 10+ year old refrigerator stopped cooling on a Saturday and needed a new $500 part to be repaired. We decided that it would make more sense to get a new fridge. We had previously bought a washer and dryer from Goemans and based on that positive experience we decided to call them. Showrooms were closed due to COVID-19, but Frank helped us find a new, in stock fridge at a great price that fit our space and could be delivered on the following Tuesday. Being able to track the progress of the delivery truck online was great. The delivery and removal of our old fridge went smoothly. It’s nice to have a working fridge again after a few days of stuffing bags of ice from the variety store in our old fridge in order to save our bacon (literally). Thanks Frank and Goemans!

Goemans Applicances is a place for your applicances, My sales associate Tim is experienced sales, helped us to chose our appliances. The delivery experience also very nice, they arrive on time and installed my Dryer and Washer, and placed other appliances in the right place, delivery man are nice and careful. Right after delivery, I also received a call from Goemans to ask how is the delivery? When I mention I noticed a minor possible bent on the dishwasher, the Reps ensured me that Goemans take customer concern seriously, and ask me to sent a picture of the appliance, and they will follow up. So far, this is a great experience!

We buy our 3 appliances in 2019 for our new home.and getting deley and deley from builder. Our sales representative Melly follow up every time we have bad news from builder and she keep her promise for all the discount we had order at the date will be the same.

Finally March 2021 we can move. And Melly told us bad news about the shortage for appliances because covid 19 supplier issues.
She even help us break it down for Multiple delivery without extra charges.

We would like to said thank you to Melly that help us follow up all the order of each pieces.

After that I got a message from your delivery dept.and twice got messages again advising me of delivery which took 4 days from ordering. The 2 men who delivered the freezer were very polite and I have no complaints.

I brought a Miele cooktop from Goeman at Woodbine store. Just take less than 45 mins.happy purchase because I brought the exact same unit because we don’t have to make any size change of my countertop. The next business day 8 o’clock in the morning the cooktop arrive and I spend a whole day for the technician to set up my new cooktop, but no one calls or show up till 5 pm. I make a call to the Goeman, the guy said the sales rep or technician will contact me tomorrow, unfortunately the next day no one contact me neither, they returned a happy customer to hateful customer, good luck.

I placed an order and deposit for a dishwasher late August and was emailed 4 days ago that it was finally in stock, along with a further payment request. I paid the full balance. Today someone from Goeman's phoned to say it was NOT in stock. I'm feeling very frustrated by the lack of proper communication, and the nearly 3 month wait, after having paid in full.

Delivery scheduled and was told that will receive call day prior about delivery time, never received!
When called (being on hold for 1.5hr) regarding time was told that during loading in to the truck my appliance was damaged but nobody called me to notify!
After when I asked to reschedule my delivery, person on the phone hanged up on me or was cut off, but he never bothered to call me back knowing how long I was on hold prior and knowing my contact information!
After dialing again and being on hold again for over an hour I was told that delivery will be in one week! Needed appliances now due to renovation and kitchen can’t be installed without appliances!
Had to drive to Brampton warehouse myself to pick up my appliances (partial) as not all was available and without any reimbursement! Was told by customer service that will be called same day and will be offered reimbursement-didn’t happened!
Would not recommend this store!

Very disappointing experience with Goemans! We ordered a refrigerator on June 10,2020 and received it on August 22nd. Understandably during a pandemic there are "in stock" issues with products however, lack of honest communications with the store staff made this purchase frustrating to say the least. We were advised of scheduled delivery dates on three separate occasions before finally receiving the fridge on the fourth date. Needless to say our salesman was not available to take calls and rather then addressing our problem decided not to return our calls either.
I phoned their customer service department. No help there either. Their policy seems to be ignore the customer to the point of frustration. I was left waiting on hold for 45 minutes after requesting to speak to the manager there. The least they could have done was come back on the line and taken a message, regardless if they intended to return the call or not.
When we finally received our Whirlpool refrigerator and plugged it in; it made loud rattling noises. Being a Saturday, we called the store and were told the noises are to be expected.
This entire purchase has been an exercise in frustration!
Goemans has their problems. Not only do they lack customer service, they totally disregard customer courtesy as well.

It's very stressful to try replacing a broken fridge during the pandemic when all showrooms are closed and some stores unwilling to deliver inside homes and haul away the old fridge. Tim was very helpful and made the entire order and delivery process smooth and easy. He also understood our situation and helped expedite our request for the earliest possible delivery date. I regard to give the 5 stars one years ago! I would change to 0 star if there's an option. After you pay the full amount, everything changed! Services and delivery is the worse I have ever had in my life.

I have to say, there are good sales representatives at Markham store and good delivery drivers in your company. However, bad system, sales and driver provided me extremely bad Goemans experience. I am willing to spend 15 minutes to write the comments below:

Issue 1 - Bad order system: I was been told I can pick up my ventilation on Jan. 8. However, when I went to Markham store, I was been told only 3 of 4 boxes arrived and I have to wait for the last box. I asked when would the last box arrive. I was been told Jan. 17. I still not receive ANYTHING (Today is Jan. 21, from last phone call, the sales told me I am expected to receive it on Jan. 23, arrive time is still not guaranteed)! The gas range-top I purchased (Wolf) need to have ventilation installed first (nobody told me this before I call Wolf for delivery). Your system delayed my entire plan. Now I have to live without gas range-top for the next few weeks.

Issue 2 - Un-professional customer service: I worked for commission based retail store before, so I knew what is going on with the sales representatives. My sales person is OK because he will get commission. However, when I called in to ask my order status, the lady whomever pick up the phone tried to wrap up the conversation and hang up before I completed my sentences. I don't know whether she was chasing for a sale or 'rush for her lunch break'.

Issue 3 - Non-professional delivery: on my scheduled delivery, my wife received phone call from the driver. He wanted to confirm the deliver address. My wife mentioned the intersection, told him it is a new constructed area he would not find it on the map, and offered him a direction map sending to his phone. The delivery person said he knew where my location is and he doesn't need the map. Half an hour later, he called my wife said he can't find the place, and we have to re-schedule the delivery. We had our installation contractors in my house before his first phone call and we had to pay for the 'installation fee' without installing anything, that was because of the delivery driver!

My parents recently bought a washer from this company. They talked with a sales person named Debbie Pearce. She assured my parents that everything would be taken care of and to not worry. On day of delivery two delivery men came and just dropped off the washer with a grunt and made me sign some email. They popped the machine down didn't install the machine and or put it on the pedestal which was also purchased. We called the store and now they want $271 just to put the washer on the pedestal. We are having difficulty lifting the machine and putting it on ourselves. Just goes to show you how the sales people here will say anything just to get a sale.

Richard provided wonderful advice, service, and did everything he could to get my family and I the best bang for our buck. I went back to Melly to purchase my appliances after a great experience with her a few years ago. She is very knowledgeable and will give you the best advice. The overall customer service at the store was good too.

Edit: Originally we tried to have our service issue resolved privately through email in a bid for the company to see where they had gone wrong. That did not work and we had to publicly post bad reviews for someone else within the company to reach out and try to provide service recovery. We have been refunded a second delivery charge that was not warranted and that is why there is an updated review giving one additional star.

tl;dr
Double charged for delivery when they so-called came the first time, didn’t call and then we had to arrange for another delivery date. The Order Coordinator Team Lead has been less than helpful in the service recovery aspect.

We ordered a fridge and were initially told that the shipping confirmation would come on the Friday. The confirmation came on Thursday evening instead.

The problem with this is that the service elevator needs to be pre-booked with condo management. Another resident could’ve already booked it or that it was just wasn’t available at that time/date.

We were told that the fridge would arrive at 8 A. M. We were home at 8: 10 A. M.and did not see any delivery truck or fridge.

The first time we had a delivery of appliances there was a courtesy telephone call to say that they were 30 minutes away. This time there wasn’t such a telephone call.

Did the delivery personnel try to phone us or did they just sit around for a few minutes and leave?

We do not appreciate being double charged when we were not at fault and having to arrange for another delivery time.

I used to spend a large amount of time reading articles and look for deals to find the best appliances which fit my budget but, ever since my friends recommended Melly Shum at Goemans Markham to me around 2 years ago, she has been an extraordinarily helpful person. I have get my refrigerator, BBQ grill, dishwasher and strove from them. Finding home appliances has been way easier. Whatever she has recommended are always best for their value and fit my budget. All my friend I've introduced to her are extremely satisfied with her professional recommendation and service.

Daren Lee is an excellent salesperson but the customer service department is terrible. I have never encountered such poor customer service anywhere. It took over a month and 5 phone calls to customer service before anyone would call me back to arrange a service call on my brand new fridge which was never properly installed. They are happy to take your money but when it comes to customer service, they are the worst! I will never purchase from Goemans again and will recommend to others that they go elsewhere.

I enjoyed dealing with Daren, Maria and Chris (Store manager). Daren was very professional and guided me in the right direction. Maria was always very helpful when Daren forgot to respond. For our family this was a big purchase, and having the support from the whole team starting with Chris was very much appreciated.
Product was delivered with a slight damage to one dryer. The delivery service was very professional. I have a comment however. Since the delivery I have yet to hear back from the customer service department in regards to the dent. I also sent an email to Darren Lee with the same concern! Hoping I will hear from somebody and soon.

Stood here waiting in line for 15 mins in front of their desk, 6 people working, 3 of them with customers, others weren’t, wasn’t given any acknowledgement whatsoever the whole time from anyone. Knew what we wanted and was ready to order too. Disappointed.

We are so impressed with the quality products and service at Goemans Markham. We worked with David Bachner who is exceptional in his product knowledge, listened to our needs and helped us to find the appliances that matched our requirements for both quality and value. We had a "speed bump" with one of our purchases, and David with the support of the company delighted us with the solution. We highly recommend Goemans and David!

The staff at Goemans were super friendly, especially Daren Lee who went above and beyond the sales experience. We had a little glitch with our washer & dryer delivery and he was right on top of it, he solved the problem right away.

I must have to give a thumb up to my salesman, David. He is very kind, professional and knowledgable on appliance products. He guided us on what features to choose while we were making our decision. His crucial input made our decision making process a lot easier. Price wise, I do appreciate his effort, ultimately, I walked out the store with happy face. David is very reasonable. Even when I had follow up questions on my order afterwards, he replied very fast. Again, I do sincerely appreciate his work.

The long weekend sales events are pretty good, make sure you specify if you want installation and/or delivery included because those are extra charges, the delivery was very easy, but make sure you don't miss your delivery time. Overall very satisfied with the whole transaction, everything was delivered perfectly, no damages and the customer service was prompt and very helpful through it all.
