I always find the knowledgeable customer service at Goemans to be a significant benefit of dealing with them. From fridges, dishwashers, venthoods and so on, we've always been pleased with the end result and keep coming back.

Recently I had the pleasure of dealing with Kenn Stewart and Goemans in St Catharines. Kenn was wonderful to deal with! He was patient, honest and made buying appliances easy and enjoyable. Their prices beat everything I could find and on the first offer, but equally important their service is head and shoulders above anywhere else! I highly recommend both Kenn and Goemans!

People trying to be welcoming and have the door slammed in their face together with with an expletive that we know what is bring said all because the dishwasher is broken. The point being go to Gorman’s for a new appliance. I don’t think so.

Terrible experience from start to the end. Unfortunately I would never recommend this store/company and would never buy from theme again. Our online rep was not easy to deal with and the company customer service is the worst I've experienced. We placed an order for our appliance in April and were told they will be arriving 6-8 weeks. After that we were told that we had to pay in full for our order or the items on our hold will not be on hold which was confusing as we thought our deposit would hold the appliances. And now finally in October our appliances are being delivered. I understand the waiting period but having us pay in full should not have been expected.

Ordered all appliances for our new home in Jan 2022. September 2022 on and still being told that delivery of the dishwasher selected would be delayed till October. Ultimately, ended up cancelling the order for the same. We have been told it's manufacturer delay but we just couldn't believe that for us the model was not available for 8+ months when same was still listed on Goeman's website and other websites (though with wait of over 2 months on one website when I tried to order online). Will never go to Goeman's again and won't recommend anyone either. Really disappointed.

I am at my wits end. I bought a Dacor Fridge and Freezer that were both delivered damaged and on top of that- the delivery guys first said they don’t deliver to houses that don’t have asphalt driveways (we have gravel) and after finally getting them to deliver it, they flip my husband off on the way out of the driveway. We were then told by Goemans that they would take three months to get the parts to fix our brand new fridge and freezer. When I told them I would not wait that long- as a family of 5 we cannot be without a fridge and freezer for months- after weeks of arguing with them where they even tried to argue I broke the fridge and freezer by moving them to take a picture of the serial code for Goemans, they told me they wouldn’t offer a refund or take the fridge and freezer back because SURPRISE, SURPRISE, parts would be available in less than two weeks. Well, the two weeks have come and gone, I called and emailed, today I received a response without any explanation that the fridges will be fixed in another month. I called to say it was unacceptable, that I want my money back and they can come and pick up their fridge and I’m getting no response- again!

The selection is great at this store. In spite of small hiccups due to supply-chain issues, we got all of our appliances roughly on time. Jessica and Mike were helpful and easy to work with. The delivery department was also responsive and helpful. I’d buy there again.

Purchased a $4000 Kitchenaid fridge in November 2019, and it’s been nothing but problems. Read your warranty contracts carefully folks.

The policy says after four failures of the same part, the product will be replaced. There are a couple circuit boards in the fridge, both of which have now been changed three times for the same reoccurring problem. It’s a phantom door open indication on the fridge leading to loss of cooling. This has been ongoing since the purchase of the fridge and no technicians can diagnose the problem, and just resort to replacing the same circuit boards over and over. When I asked if my fridge will actually be replaced after the fourth failure, my provider (Comerco) said it’s still subject to what the technician decides.

We have a 18 month old daughter who’s formula and milk has gone warm multiple times since she was born. Luckily we have noticed in time, but what about the one time we miss it, or it warms and then cools again and then spoils. Who’s responsible for this then when she gets sick?

I contacted Goemans to explain my problem and frustration with this seemingly faulty and lemon of a product and was met with, it’s not our problem, contact your extended warranty provider (Comerco). I even tried Kitchenaid/whirlpool and was turned away and sent to my warranty provider with no help whatsoever. No one will stand behind this product and it’s pretty clear why.

I feel helpless and taken advantage of in this situation as I wonder what will happen as my policy expires and the fridge continues to have this problem. It’s clearly a deeper issue with the refrigerator that no one can diagnose and I’m just being forced to deal with it.

About a year ago I bought a BBQ here. The service I got was top drawer, the quality of the BBQ was also excellent. I did take advantage of a sale so there was true value in the purchase. I was first assisted by the Manager who made suggestions on model and the weather cover which is awesome. The sales rep that finished the sale was also very professional. Over all this was a warm, welcome visit with a great ending. Thanks so very much.

We are very disappointed in Goemans. We put a deposit on 7 appliances in April 2021, as we were building a new home with possession in Jan 2022. We were told in January just prior to moving that there would be a delay of every appliance except the fridge and dryer. Now they want us to pay delivery charge for each time they bring something. We paid in full for all the items in December 2021, however we still only have two items and there is very little effort to inform us which items have become available. Once the sale is done you work with customer service, which is more frustrating and it is now March 15 2022. To say the least we would not recommend.

We purchased a range hood and when we opened the box the hood was damaged. It has been one week trying to get this resolved with the customer service department. I have been told twice now a Supervisor was going to call me and they have not. Goemans was quick to take my money for the 5 appliances we purchased and now giving us the runaround saying they need to go through the manufacturer. I even called the sales person for some assistance and was told I need to go through customer service. Very disappointed in what I thought was a good company.

Worst experience ever. Waited 6 months to get my appliances. Delivery was scheduled for today and now they call and want to change to Thursday! Cleaned out the old fridge in anticipation. Who is going to pay for the lost food? Lack of customer communication. I had to call them. They got my money and now they don't care. I Will NEVER BUY FROM GOEMANS AGAIN.

Absolutely ridiculous. 1 star is still to much, ordered a BBQ back in early August, which in itself was a chore.we had a store credit from a warranty claim, the salesmen we dealt with never returned calls or email, it always took 2-3 calls from me to get anywhere, so we decided to use our credit on something else, Was told delivery would be end of Aug, then mid Oct, now mid Nov.again when i try get answers they dont bother to reply to emails or just tell me to call their customer service number, which is just as bad. I have spent a lot of money over the last few year with Goemans, but will never buy anything from them again.

O! Bought appliances in January 2021 and just got "updated" that they won't be available until March 2022! (No, they did not update me, I had to call and inquire myself) Every time the same story! You will get them next month and when I call there is another delay and their delivery dates are "subject to change"! This time my delivery is delayed by manother 4 months with bo guarantee that I'll actually get it in March and.there is no guarantee on any other delivery time as I inquired to change the appliances in the past, but apparently I may end up waiting even longer if I do

My husband and I went into Goemans St. Catharines to purchase a BBQ and unfortunately Napoleon is not taking orders due to their Covid changes in manufacturing. That being said, appliance specialist Donna was still absolutely amazing. Knowing full well we could not make a purchase on the product today, she still helped us choose our product for down the road. She spent quite a bit of time with us explaining the ins and outs of the Napoleon Prestige product and the differences between other Napoleon products and brands. While we were there we picked her brain about our future fridge/freezer options as we are doing renovations years from now. Even knowing that this wouldn't be an immediate sale today, she still walked us through products and did not rush us out the door. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient and I highly suggest when you go in to ask for her!

Terrible delivery and customer service. No delivery window offered until 5: 30 pm day before which forces customer to arrange a whole day from work. When I called to ask I was told I could pay an extra $40 to have a time given. Clearly not a scheduling issue but a money grab. Delivery is already $80
Delivery people entered home with no mask and no protective shoe coverings. No respect for my home or health protocols.
Customer service person agreed this was all wrong but said that’s just Goemans.

We purchased 7 appliances from Goeman's and it has been a horrible experience and process with their after-sales support.

We had our washer and dryer delivered in February. The dryer arrived damaged. They re-directed me to the manufacturer, who kept trying to send a service technician to repair the dryer. But why would you repair a brand new item? That's like taking a brand new car to get serviced. It makes no sense, I just wanted a replacement. They had the audacity to take away my existing dryer and try to re-deliver the exact same damaged one. It took several upset phone calls and 3 weeks without a working laundry pair to finally rectify the situation.

Fast forward, I initiated the second part of my delivery for June - the remaining 5 appliances. Only 3 items got delivered and I just noticed that one item is damaged. It is so damaged that I cannot fathom how it ended up that way - it looks like it was stacked underneath something very heavy and is severely dented. I call their after-sales support, they ask me to send photos and they pass on the accountability to the manufacturer. "The manufacturer will contact you in 3-5 business days". Here we go again, the same song-and-dance.

I would like to think that customer satisfaction would be their top priority. Especially when customers are willing to spend thousands of dollars on a single item and even more money on an entire order with multiple items. But clearly it isn't. They are not prompt in solutioning issues or dealing with damaged items, they try to skirt around being accountable for the customer's full satisfaction, and their canned response is to tell you "We are sorry for your experience. Please email our community manager or our customer support. "

After we are finished with receiving our last 2 items (which who knows how long that will take to be delivered), I would never shop at Goeman's ever again or recommend them to anybody.

Donna - my salesperson was wonderful- knowledgeable and straight forward. She showed me various appliances- found one I liked- sales experience was seamless. However, dealing with the delivery team was not so- they would call and leave number to call back and you were NEVER able to get through. I was told after waiting 2 weeks that agreed upon delivery date would not happen. I had requested door handles be changed- was not done. Delivery was ok.

Salesman Steve Chelmicki has been awesome to work with. He has guided us every step of the way and was totally patient in explaining every detail of our huge invoice. Even helpful when we had a minor glitch during our delivery.
The fellas that delivered some of our appliances really stepped up to the plate and quickly corrected (on site) an installation error.

Ordered a fridge and range hood. Initially was told fridge would arrive the beginning of May (when I ordered, follow up email just said May). Arrived June 22nd. Came with doors hung incorrectly and large scratch on inside of unit, plus very dirty inside. Already have a service call arranged and it has been at my house for just over 24 hours.
Range hood was in stock beginning of May, but I had to contact them to find this out. No one called to let me know. Was offered to have it delivered directly to my house, but then told after I agreed that there was a $79 delivery fee (wasn't advised this when I ordered it). Said I would pick up at the store and was advised it would be there the following Monday and I would receive a call. No call came. I called on the Wednesday and they said "it didn't get on the truck". Came a week later (I had to call to confirm it showed up).

Our purchasing experience was great. Sonal was knowledgable and helpful with our selection. Our experience past that point was terrible! It took 7 months for our fridge to arrive. This we understood because of the delays caused by COVID. However, the customer service department was terrible. I would call the 1-877 number to get an ETA and they would say that they would call me back with the information.this did not happen, I did not get a return call. It was very frustrating to deal with these people!
We did not receive a call to say that the fridge had arrived, it was during one of my calls that they told me it was now in stock. We arranged delivery, I took the day off work and waited until noon to see when it would arrive. The customer service rep told me she had record of me calling and that they had confirmed it was in stock but it was never scheduled for delivery. We then scheduled for another day. The fridge did arrive that day but it was crushed and I mean crushed! The handle has already been installed and it was jammed back into the fridge along with other large dents in the front of it. We then called customer service again and they told me there weren’t anymore in stock. I was so upset, not only another day away from work, a damaged fridge and no stock. I called my salesman to help me and thank goodness for Sonal! They were able to find another one, somewhere and we have received delivery of a working fridge.

There is a bit of a problem with the product itself, some scratches that appear either caused at the factory, or in transit, so we will see how that gets resolved. It only arrived today so we've not used it yet. We will adjust the review in a week or two.

Fantastic service from Kelly! Buying a new washer and dryer during a pandemic is no easy feat. I went in thinking I wanted a no frills washer and dryer set (you know, the old workhorse that your grandma had in her basement), but Kelly guided my buying decision towards something better suited for my family. And I’m so glad she did! I ended up with an LG front loader and I LOVE it!

Kelly was very informative and knowledgeable and I never felt pushed or pressured to buy. I didn’t end up buying the set while in store - after thinking about it and talking it over with my husband, we called Kelly back and firmed up the deal over the phone. It was a great shopping experience from start to finish and the delivery crew did a great job installing the machine and hauling away our old set.

Next up is our fridge, microwave and stove. When it comes time to replace, we won’t shop around. We’ll gladly call Kelly again!

Bought a stove in October and was suggested to pay up front to assure I would get a delivery due to Covid production decreases. Assured it would be early December. No-one called. My calls to store were not returned, Called the 877 number for delivery and was given 2 dates in December but once they passed and no delivery I had to call them. This happened for delivery dates in January. Final delivery was March 3. Almost 6 months later even though I paid in October.

We ordered 5 appliances in September 2020, being a realtor I know it has been difficult to get appliances in these trying times of COVID; but we specifically asked if it would be a problem to have these appliances by February 1 2021, we were assured they would be in stock and ready. We were asked for a deposit and told to pay the balance when the appliances were to be delivered.

I checked in with Goemans in mid Janaury as were set to dismantle our kitchen and have the renovation begin. We were given a delivery date of January 30th 2021. We moved forward with our renovation. To make room we gave our old appliance's away, thought we were being efficient.

2 days before delivery we recieve an email stating our appliances will now be the end of February. After a few calls we find out that we had not paid the balance in full and that customers go into a que according to payment, so our appliances we assume went to someone else. At POINT of sale we would have appreciated that information as we would have paid the entire amount.

In our sales associates defense she did manage to get the dishwasher and cooktop delivered for the 30th, as the counter top company was coming and we needed the cooktop on site for measuring. We are still waiting for the counter tops so haven't been able to cook for over 3 weeks.

Now we are told we may have our ovens the end of March and no fridge in sight until May 2021. We ordered in September 2020.

We understand this is not entirely Goemans fault as they can only deliver what they recieve. But the lack of communication between the main office and point of purchase is a disaster. We did not need to rip out our kitchen, if we had been told we would not have a fridge until May 2021 we surely would have waited.

At some point I would have thought Goemans would offer something to help out, as it is the dead of winter and we cant barbecue, we can't see family to share meals, today we are in the middle of a blizzard, will need to find someone open to order dinner at least.

Buyer beware, appliances are massivley backordered, do not count on a specific date of delivery even if you are told it won't be a problem, because it will.

There are so many people far worse off, I am sharing this for information purposes only if you are considering getting new applinaces in these difficult times there are absolelutely no guarantees you will recieve them.

My mother (L. Maracle) received a refrigerator from Goeman's on March 9th. She was very happy with the service, as there was a small hiccup, the fridge wouldn't fit through the front door. The guys managed to get it inside and hooked up, and removed the old fridge.very efficient fast service polite and accommodating very happy with service. She will order from you again!

Brought a pair of new washer and dryer from Chris in St. Catharines. We needed a replacement for the existing washer and dryer, asap, and Chris was helpful in recommending a reliable unit which would be available for delivery within the week.

Delivery and installation were made without any problems, and the washer and dryer are also working without any problems.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in December 2020 from Chris Bloor. He was knowledgable and helpful in completing the sale and the installation. At the time he thought that our appliance might be in stock ready for installation by late December, early January. The dishwasher didn't show up until late February; however the installation and removal of the old one went very well.

Where do I start with how poorly our experience has been.
-sept 2020 ordered appliances for January 23 delivery date, being told that will be no issue for the appliances (6 total) that were ordered
-early dec 2020 balance paid in full, delivery set for middle of January, two weeks later receive an email saying our hood vent is now out of stock! Took over a month to get refund of product that became out of stock
-early Jan 2021 called Goemans to verify delivery date for the now 5 appliances, and we are advised that the range is now back ordered until feb 5. We asked to have the delivery date set to feb 6 now so that all appliances could get delivered on one date and not have to have Goemans make multiple trips
- a couple days prior to delivery date of feb 6 an email stating that our range is now back ordered again until feb 19. I called customer service and they told me it could be another three weeks before we get the range (classic case of the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.) we cancelled the range and were able to purchase somewhere else to meet our timelines
-FEB 6- 4 items get delivered, 2 items are visibly damaged, we were told by customer service rep that the warehouse was going to ship another washing machine to St. Catharines store the Monday morning. We receive an email Monday morning while on my way there saying the item is in Brampton, and no one at the St. Catharines store knew what was going on.
Now two items are not working properly and customer service has been no help in remediating the issues.still waiting for the refund of the range that was no longer available to us. We have been advised to call GE to resolve the issue when i believe it should be Goemans helping resolve the problem of a product they sold. The entire process once items were purchased has been terrible and BBB will be called if issues aren’t resolved this week.
It seems Goemans has zero Accountability!

I purchased five appliances at Goemans with the assistance of your salesperson Steve. He was very helpful and I did not feel pressured. In fact Steve was very accommodating when I had to make a couple of changes a few days later. The delivery date (s) were long into the future but that was due to Covid; no reflection on Goemans. Delivery men were courteous and professional. Overall a very good experience.

You really can't fault the service was able to track my delivery and was given 30 minutes notice before it arrived. Delivery men were polite and very competent. Had a small problem and they were on it right away much better to deal with than most other appliance retailers. Would not hesitate to deal with them again.

We bought a washer/dryer LG3800 series from Donna in St Catharines. Excellent service and exceptional information about the various brands and what was currently available or not. Great job. I would buy from Goemans again.
