I have been a customer at Geomans for the past 6 years. My customer service representative Joseph is very knowledgeable about all the appliances available for purchasing and has helped me choose what was best for my budget. Seeing that Geomans does not make the appliances my displeasure comes from the manufacturers warranty and the life expectancy of the products purchased.
Delivery of my recent purchase took longer than expected but I am pleased with the removal and installation of a new washer.

We’ve made several purchases at Gorman’s so when our dryer needed replacing it was our first stop. Less than an hour later, with Rocco’s help we were the proud owners of an LG WashTower. Delivery and installation went off without a hitch. Another happy customer!

We found Joe Arcari to be articulate and informative about the various models of ranges that we were interested in. Joe remained impartial but interested in the need to upgrade our old gas stove. He was very personable, yet professional in his conduct with us and we were ultimately super happy with our choice. I think he was too! We love our GE Profile gas range and have been doing a lot of cooking and experimenting since our purchase. The delivery was also very well coordinated with Goemans and perfectly seamless. We would highly recommend a conversation with Joe if you are in need of a new appliance!

I recently purchased a Premier stove, I would like to give my salesman Norm St. Croix 5 stars, when I expressed that I wanted certain features in a stove he sourced out a model for me that met all my needs. The install team did drop the ball though, I paid for an install but they were hesitant to put this two piece stove together, they ended up getting me the missing parts, but I ended up paying a third party to get it assembled. I just wanted to make you aware, as I was considering a washing machine and would not want to deal with an install issue on that. Again great salesman, thanks for your extra efforts. After hearing about my concerns over the install my salesman and this company acknowledged the problem and made it right, you can't ask for more than that, remember to support local independent retailers, thanks again.

I want to thank Goemans for always offering great variety and quality options on appliances. I got my appliances for my new build in 2017- and they were in time customer service amazing. I went back in 2022 to the same sale representative (Karen Guiducci) to order appliances for my rental and got an amazing customer service and updates on the order - she Explained the delays and helped me throughout the process… today I got my final order. What a thought time to be in sales! But Karen made the process bearable.
Looking forward to do more business with Goemans and Karen

The store experience was great and the sales associate Joseph was really nice and extremely helpful. The first two delivery guys were not so helpful and they weren't comfortable putting the freezer down our basement. The delivery men that came today were wonderful and they put it down the stairs with no problem. They were friendly and professional. All in all I would recommend Goemans heartily.

Went into Goemans after looking at The Brick, who had little selection for what we were looking for, went to Leon's, again very little selection then to Home Depot who again had little selection for what we're looking for.

So we decided to goto Goemans as I know they've been around for years. I can see why they've been in business for so long! Walking in the store was a good feeling, everything was well organized everything was neat, everything was clean.

I normally don't like sales people coming up to me I rather get them on my own. But I had a gentleman named Kevin who was fabulous I felt comfortable with him n no pressure at all.we walked out with Gas Stove, Over the Stove Microwave and Fridge all at a great price in my opinion!

I will be going back again soon enough to look for a washer and dryer, and gas BBQ.not even going anywhere else to compare, I don't care as I thought the prices I paid and totali spent was great, to me I received high-end appliances for low end costs!

From the store to the delivery and installation, Goemans was the perfect choice for us. The salesperson was extremely helpful. The appliances came in much earlier than we thought they would. Delivery happened quickly thereafter and that went seamlessly. They hauled out our old appliances with no issues - our stairs are slightly narrow so we were worried about the walls. No damage whatsoever. The customer service was exemplary throughout. We would definitely choose Goeman’s again!

Our combo microwave/oven unit arrived this month after a long time on back order. The team doing the unhooking and removal of the old unit were excellent, as was the team doing the delivery of the new unit, and the team doing the install. They were polite, knowledgable, and thorough in explaining what was happening. Although the wait for our new unit was frustrating, our sales rep was able to explain the supply chain issues in a way which made us more aware of the worldwide shortages that were occurring.

Bought Several major items. The Gas Range is not what I expected. One has to have WIFI connection available to operate this surreal piece of machinery. Service man was trying to set it up, but after two separate visit the controls are still not working. When shopping at Goemans there was no mention of having to have electricity and WIFI to operate this stove. We got rid of an electric range, ran a new gas line to our kitchen, just to get away from having to rely on electricity. But WIFY, who would have thought. This range has got to go!

We have bought our appliances from Goemans (with the exception of 1) for more than 20 years. This is the first time from the Stoney Creek Store and talking with both Joseph and Brittany. They did a great job. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs appliances to go speak with them before making any decisions.

Ordered all appliances for our new kitchen in Feb 2022 (giving plenty of time for supply chain issues) for a July delivery (all was in stock). 2 weeks before the delivery I get a call "sorry we don't have your appliances and we're cancelling the order" I was able to get some of it due to the fact that I switched brands, but sorry your microwave isn't here. I built a cavity suited for a Frigidaire 2 cu ft microwave. Well, it arrives in October but in the wrong color. 3 weeks later they get back to me "oh sorry, Frigidaire changed their line in September and the one you ordered in February is not available anymore" Come get your microwave, refund me my money. I will never ever ever ever shop at Gorman's again. They will lie to you about stock. They will lie to you about delivery. They will never give you what you paid and asked for. Avoid at all costs.

It was a great shopping experience. Bill knew his stuff and was understanding of our needs. This would have been 5 stars except delivery dates were promised and didnt happen. Then Dave got involved and resolved the issue, but then the next delivery date was 4 days later due to the holiday. The fridge arrived damaged and we needed to have another one brought. The fridge was our priority so of course that was the last thing to arrive. I will stress that Goemans did do everything to fix the issue, but their were issues.

Let's finish this on a positive. When everything arrived, delivery drivers were excellent. The drivers refused to deliver the fridge once the damage was noticed on the first delivery And when the fridge did arrive on the second delivery the drivers were fantastic as well. I was very impressed by the drivers.

GE didn't deliver an induction stove - Goemans did their best including a loaner stove for a YEAR while we waited due to supply chain issues - they updated us weekly and finally rebated us and delivered an electric stove/oven. Could not have asked for more from them since they don't manufacture the product themselves - delivery service is great as well

Lacking customer service and communication especially from Adam the sales rep.

We placed an order on Oct 30/21 for a built in microwave. At time of placing order Adam stated it would be delayed given Covid but would communicate when he best knew it would be coming in. That was the last time we heard from Adam and it is now June and we don’t have a microwave. We have attempted to contact him but to no avail. Now we are dealing with their customer service dept who have told us there is no ETA on our microwave!

We came to Goemans thinking it would be a better experience then other retailers and essentially it is the same across the board. Be prepared to make your own calls to find out product updates. Very disappointed by this experience and would not recommend Goemans.
Thanks for your response Goemans and I have contacted your customer service line where I was told there is no ETA so they would look into it. Well guess what? I haven’t heard anything back. So please don’t put this on Covid and back delays when your customer service can’t even follow up with customers about their inquiries. Unbelievable!

Drove to Stoney Creek from Port Dover to purchase a Napoleon bbq. We entered and no one greeted us nor were there any sales folks on the floor (it was 4pm on a Thursday). We kind of hovered by the reception area for a minute but no one even acknowledged us even though there were about 8 sales reps chatting. It could have been a meeting but we decided speaking to a front desk clerk would be the only way we would get any attention or information. They came out and said.let me see who's next. He went behind the front desk and came back again to ask what we wanted - no sales person was interested in our business. They didn't have the bbq we wanted in stock and that was it - bye. We could have purchased a different bbq but no one had any interest in us.was it how we looked? That's how it felt. I actually regret having spent an upward of $20K on appliances at Goeman's five years ago when we redid our kitchen. We won't be back nor will we recommend and will freely speak of our negative experience.

Poor experience so far. I ordered a range and fridge at the end of October for delivery in late February or early March and was assured this would be no problem. After receiving an email in late January schedule a delivery date, full payment was demanded to confirm delivery. After I paid in full I was told that the range was not in stock would would be available a few weeks after my fridge. In addition, if I wanted the fridge to be delivered by itself, another delivery fee would be incurred. The availability date of the range has been pushed back by 2-3 weeks like clock work and it’s now April. I reached out to the salesman about other options and received no response. And no wonder, Goemans already had my money! I recognize there are supply chain issues but why schedule delivery dates and demand full payment for orders you cannot fulfil? !

Goemans is not your small family/ home town appliance store anymore. Boy did we ever make a mistake buying our appliances from them. Very hard to get status updates. Customer service is no longer through their local store in Stoney Creek. It’s outsourced and very hard to get updates. Understandable appliances will be delayed and late due to the times however, bad news is better than no news… or incorrect status updates. We were told that our wall oven combo would not be delivered until Mar/Apr…. It showed up 5 days later in December just after we purchased a used one …. Now we are out $500 because of incorrect information. Sorry, won’t shop there again.

We recently purchased a stove, microwave, range hood insert, washer and dryer from the Goemans Stoney Creek store. I was referred to Bill so emailed him in advance to book an appointment and listed our appliance needs, dimensions etc. He did his preparation in advance of our appointment and was ready with options when we arrived. His preparation made the buying experience quick and easy for us. Bill is very knowledgeable, friendly and was such a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Goemans and will certainly be back for any future needs.

We were told a drying rack was included with the purchase of our whirlpool dryer by the sales rep Kevin. That was not the case, they are saying we now have to purchase it as an extra. Also my Webber bbq came dented upon delivery and they told me to contact Webber. Poor quality service and no trust!

Everything they said they would do they did, exactly when they said they would. The delivery men were a joy to watch work; to say they were efficient is an understatement. To encounter this level of customer service is such a rare thing these days I really want to thank and commend them. I couldn't be happier!

We purchased a fridge, stove, microwave, wine cooler and range hood through the Stoney Creek store. (We had purchased the matching dishwasher from the Kitchener store two years previously.) Adam was the sales associate in Stoney Creek. He was amazing to work with, knew the products well and was able to meet our needs. I would highly recommend working with Adam. He helped us delay the delivery given that our renovation was delayed. We took delivery today. The two delivery men arrived exactly at the time they said they would be there. They brought the appliances in within 15 minutes, were polite and friendly. This was a great experience and we would highly recommend Goeman's to anyone purchasing appliances.

We dealt with Norm @ the Stoney Creek location during the lock down. Had to buy an emergency dishwasher replacement. Service was excellent! Delivery & install was excellent. Only issue - not their fault - was that it took 4 months for us to get the dishwasher from Maytag. Everything was 5 stars!

I recently purchased a gas range on July 26th. Salesperson Karen assisted me with my selection. The range I selected was fortunately in stock. I requested to purchase a grate for the centre burner. The centre burner came with a griddle but the grate would be separate. Karen told me she would send an email to GE Appliances and let me know if available. On July 29th I called Goemans to follow up on my inquiry. I tried to reach Karen but she was now on vacation and was told no one else could help me as they were short staffed. I sent Karen an email for her return. To date she has not responded. I called again after receiving my stove and Karen was busy with another customer but my name and number was provided. Karen did not call me back. I completed the on line after service and to date have not received a response.
I am so disappointed from the lack of response. All I wanted was to purchase the extra grate but it appears no one Goemans is interested in assisting me.
Your delivery service was fantastic. I received texts and phone calls providing and confirming date and delivery times. The two delivery men were on time professional and quickly brought my new range in and took the old out with no issues.
I can’t say the same for the after purchase experience.

During the time of covid (and some of the hottest weather on record!), our old refrigerator failed. What an ordeal, trying to find a replacement which was even close to what we needed! Then, we called Goeman's, Stoney Creek & spoke with Adam. He had just the product we wanted at a very good price, so we ordered & received delivery within one week! Delivery team was great.extremely knowledgeable & efficient, excellent communication - kept us posted on the delivery date, and actual ETA within 20 minutes (!) on the day of delivery. Excellent experience for us as a first-time customer, & wouldn't hesitate to return in future! (P. S. - LOVE the fridge!)

We have purchased in the past and have continued to have good experience with Goemans. I appreciate that their staff actually knows about the products they sell and recommend what you need and can explain things not just read off a spec sheet. Just received the first of our appliances for a big kitchen reno and we’re pleased with the organized delivery (imagine a call before to set a window, online tracking of order and a call 15 minutes before that it was almost there). Best price and good before and after service means we keep coming back. If at Stoney creek location recommend hooking up with Karen, she has been great!

Don't buy your appliances from Goemans. Sales staff at the Stoney Creek store were excellent, however, the delivery and customer support process is terrible. Delivery times are not met and support is non existent if you have a problem with the appliance.

Adam in sales was very informative and a pleasure to deal with. Delivery was deferred a few times due to kitchen renovation delays, absolutely no fault of Goemans. When the time finally came for delivery, it was as pre-arranged, timely, tidy and professional. Our only concern is regarding a Goemans policy that there is only a "24 - 48 hour window after delivery to inspect and report any issues with the appliances. " Set-up of these appliances was not available prior to three days post-delivery. So, to expect us (seniors 70 yrs plus) to unpack, move 5 appliances piled up in our dining room and inspect within 24 - 48 hrs is unfair in our opinion. Let's hope these are all ok when the set-up team shows up tomorrow. I wrote the DayofDelivery email address to express our concerns the day we received the policy notice but have yet to receive a response. Because of this and the potential issues that may result, we have to adjust our rating.

I just wanted to compare the insides of 2 different dishwashers before I bought one. Ended up not only choosing the best one for my needs, but found a gas stove as well.
Of course, Covid-related manufacturing delays is an unavoidable fact; in spite of this, once the delivery of the stove was set, it was exactly on time. The nicest delivery guys made quick work of putting it in place.
An installation manual was included, but not an operating manual. Not a fan of using an online version.
But hey, I'd buy from Goemans again; love that they heard what I needed and helped me get the exact right appliances.

Well, putting a new kitchen in a 170-year-old home has taken quite some time - from design to finish more than a year and a half. Much of the blame for all this time has to be on COVID as Geomans promptly delivered once we informed them that our new space was ready for appliances. We bought appliances at Geomans in October 2018 so that our designer would have detailed measurements for all the built-in appliances. We thought that buying at design stage was appropriate until we took delivery in February 2021 and discovered hidden damage. The television came out of its box with a damaged screen. The box itself was in excellent shape - no surface damage but something had put pressure on the screen, most likely during packaging. That has resulted in a 5-month to-and-fro with Geomans, the manufacturers and their service folks. According to their initial position the one-year standard warrant had expired even though we had just taken delivery of the appliances. The damaged TV has now been replaced and is hanging on our kitchen wall and worked fine for the first time this weekend. Meanwhile our purchase at time of design did not work out quite as planned. The door of our built in fridge will not open a full 90 degrees and the large drawers can not be pulled open all the way. Nothing in the appliance literature or at Geomeans advised that built-in fridges and freezers have to be installed in a length of wall - not in a corner. Our design puts the fridge against the wall of our pantry, a corner, and as a result only opens about 80 degrees with the base board on the pantry wall removed (with the baseboard on the pantry wall, the fridge only opens about 75 degrees). We will need a "fix" for the fridge door to stop it from constantly hitting the pantry door trim. In other respects we were glad to be busy developing a new kitchen during COVID and now it is a joy to be in this new space with great appliances.

Great experience buying this stove from Goemans. I ordered online after speaking to a sales associate on the phone, who was able to answer all my questions. Ordering online was super easy. I recieved a few phone calls from Goemans to let me know the status of my order. The delievery service team was great, they were very quick and followed covid protocols. I recieved a phone call shortly after delievery to make sure that everything went smoothly. I'm very happy with my purchase, especially since Goemans was the only place I could purchase this brand of stove (Premier electric). I like the fact that they sell a lot of brands and types and it was easy to compare online. And I like how they follow up and give updates on your purchase. Customer service is top notch!

Overall: very satisfied with the team at Goemans as well as the quality of appliances! It was a bit of a frustrating back and forth with the sales team to coordinate all the details (we needed 8 appliances in total) ; and the one sales consultant we were working with with challenging to get a hold of (took a lot of persistence and many many calls/emails), BUT in the end it all worked out, and the process was very smooth once we settled on the appliances we wanted (all this during the time period when stores were closed). The delivery guys were very efficient and brought the appliances right in to their designated spots.:)

We'd worked with Faith in the past and she came through for us again. The purchasing process was very smooth, and the washer and dryer were available sooner than I'd expected. The delivery team were fantastic - polite, friendly and very efficient. The automated delivery notice was informative except if you wanted to speak with a person that was not possible as the office was closed when we received the call. However, a person called in the morning with the delivery time which was perfect for us. All in all, it was a great experience, again.

I ordered my upright freezer by phone. Faith was very pleasant and helped me decide between 2 different freezers. I absolutely love it. This is my second purchase from Goemans and I will definately recommend to my friends.

My experience at Goemans was awful. I purchased 5 appliances in September for a brand new home, and at the time of purchase I was promised a delivery date for all the appliances at the end of October. By November, none of the 5 appliances had arrived. I’ve now moved into a brand new home without appliances. After receiving 4/5 appliances well into December I was told that my fridge was delayed again until January 13th. After voicing my frustration over the phone, I was promised that I would be receiving compensation from the Stoney Creek Goemans (which I purchased the appliances from) and they would be calling me within the week. They never called me. I followed up again in January regarding the status of my fridge and was told it was delayed again until February. I followed up again in the middle of February and was told my fridge would be there the next day, so I should call back. I asked why they couldn’t just contact me when the fridge was there, and the agent on the phone told me its best that I call back because they never call when the items are in. So I followed up the next day and the agent told me it still wasn’t in, but that it would be there the next day. I asked to set a delivery date, and inquired again about the compensation that I was promised. He put me on hold to speak with a supervisor and when he returned he set a delivery date and told me they would contact me about compensation after the item was delivered. The following day I received a phone call saying the delivery needed to be cancelled because the item was not in stock. After voicing my frustrations again, the agent told me she would contact my salesperson for more information. When she contacted the salesperson she told them that I wanted to select a different fridge – which was not true. The fridge finally arrived at the end of February, approximately 5 months after it was promised to arrive. When I contacted them again about the compensation they told me they “didn’t know who promised that”. Goemans took my full payment in September, and then didn’t care about meeting any of their promised deadlines. Each person I spoke to over the phone had very little knowledge about the products, delivery process or customer service, and they lie to you just to get you off the phone. Please save yourself the time and hassle and purchase your appliances somewhere else.

We have been buying all our appliances from Goemans the last 20 years and they never disappoint. They delivered a better Fridge than we had ordered because of issues with the manufacturers. Their delivery team was extremely polite, professional and set up the fridge expertly. Outstanding customer service! Thank you!

We purchased a stove, from the Stoney Creek store. The minute we walked in, we were met with professional service, and a very knowledgeable staff.
When the stove was delivered, on time, and on the exact date, the delivery men were punctual, friendly, and very nice We will definitely be buying all of our appliances from this store

We recently moved into a new home where we required all new appliances. We purchased a gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer all from Goemans. We had ordered a gas BBQ as well, but it turned out not to be available (this we do not consider a mistake on the part of Goemans). Our fridge was on backorder for a couple of weeks but was delivered when promised. The range took longer to arrive (due to Covid-19 backorders), but Goemans provided us with a loaner stove to use in the meantime which was much appreciated. Our sales person, Bill Robertson, was very good to deal with and responded to all our questions and concerns. We would definitely recommend shopping at Goemans in the future.

With COVID ongoing we needed a new range microwave. I started out researching what I wanted and reached out to Goemans as I’ve had positive experiences in the past. In working with Norm in sales we realized quickly that it was more about what was available then what I wanted from an inventory perspective. Norm was great, he worked with me on what we needed was willing to work to get us a fair deal and the delivery and installation was top notch. Really happy with the purchase and the results!

Purchased a FISHER & PAYKEL, RANGE, GAS, PROFESSIONAL and a BOSCH, DISHWASHER STAINLESS In February and just received them yesterday (19MAR). The whole process was professional, affordable and enjoyable.

Purchased a Fridge, Stove, Hood, Microwave and Dishwasher from Faith back in Mid 2019. Everything in store was fantastic. Extended warranty was purchased on all 5 products. I have had 3 service calls (All while under warranty from LG) Now we are now on our 4th call (Worth noting that its the same issue) on a LG fridge in just over 18 months. Here is a breakdown on the number of calls made:

Call LG- Its not under warranty anymore
Call Goemans- Extended Warranty's are not through us. Call Comerco (Extended warranty company)
Call Comerco- Goemans never provided us the paperwork ("You dont have an extended warranty)
Call Goemans- You have an extended warranty- Call them back.
Call Comerco We don't have anything under your name.
Call Goemans- Give them this invoice number. Why didn't Comerco ask me for the invoice #?
Call Comerco- Oh there you are in our system- We will have LG call you with a service date in 24-48 hours
Wait 36 hours with no call. I had a hunch nobody was calling me back- Call Comerco- When are they going to call me? Sir- We dont have a request in our system. I will set one up for you right now. Here is your ticket number TK 0057424.
Weekend goes by- no call (not shocking with it being the weekend) call Comerco about when they are going to call on Monday afternoon. Do you have a TK #? Yes- TK 0057424. Comerco- We don't have that in our system and we don't have your extended warranty on file! RIGHT BACK TO THE BEGINNING. We got nothing done and I have a fridge that isn't keeping anything cold for close to a week.

I am aware that none of these issues are actually Goeman's fault but they haven't helped the situation either. That and they are also VERY aware of how bad Comerco is (I could write another page on their customer service) If you know how bad a company is and you still use them for your extended warranty service than you are to blame as well. I assume that Goeman's will see this post. 3 service calls and waiting on a 4th in 18 months. It's clear to me that I have received a lemon for a fridge. It happens. Will you stand by the product that you sell and replace it or am I just going to have to suffer with this fridge and take my business somewhere else when the time comes to replace it?

I was pleased with the sales person personable, pleasant and not pushy, however knowledge of the product was okay. The manual does state: if using the automatic soap dispenser it will calculate the wieght of the clothing in the washer to know how much soap to dispense. Hence why a 4 star.
Otherwise the products were delivered as expected. I would of been a little happier if the delivery personal would of cleaned up the floor before leaving as their boots were wet from the weather causing the floor to be muddy and wet. Also the machines were wet with drops of dirty water (again from the rain) however they could of dried them off.
Otherwise a positive experience as was the same when I purchased a stove and microwave from them years ago.

Would give 0 stars but not an option! Absolutely terrible customer service! Purchased Bosch fridge, stove, dishwasher and hood fan and washer and dryer (which was cancelled). Stove came broken out of the box on delivery day, Fridge came damaged out of the box on delivery day. Had to make 100+ phone calls to get it resolved. Once Goeman's has your money they leave you in the dust. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM GOEMANS! Go anywhere else but here. Worst customer service i have experienced buying anything. Took delivery in November 2020 and still dealing with the issue's. Not Happy. 0 stars for Goeman's Stoney Creek!

We would like to express our complete satisfaction with our recent purchase and delivery from Goemans. Everything is difficult during Covid but Goemans piloted the purchase thru all the problems created by Covid keeping us informed and up to date at all times. Their communication was perfect. The sales person, Faith C, advised us about all situations and circumstances about purchases during Covid and was super knowledgeable about products. The delivery and installation of the washer and dryer was nothing less than spectacular. Having a perfect delivery and installation and testing of the installation is extremely comforting for seniors. We highly recommend Goemans to all perspective buyers.

Purchasing an appliance during COVID was a different experience, as we couldn't see anything in-person. We had to place a lot of trust in the sales team to point us in the right direction. We worked with Joseph, who was knowledgeable and took the time to listen and answer all of our questions. Once we made our decision, the turnaround time was fast, delivery was seamless and the installation team were great. We will definitely go back to Goemans for future purchases. My only feedback is around the payment process - payment was processed online and it would have been great to receive a quick phone call to know that payment was received and to confirm next steps.
