Got salmon rolls for delivery. Quality is reasonable. Definitely not the highest end, but value is quite good. Spicy salmon rolls were a bit lacking in both spice and crunch.

This is my go to take out sushi place. Great prices and food. It never dissapoints and staff is great

The best sushi on St Clair! Got takeout here for the first time last night. I don’t know what took me so long. Fish was delicious and fresh and very affordable. Order and pickup was super fast and friendly. Highly recommend Goen over any other place now. The others are always so oily and sweet- Goen’s was just right!

Love this place. Decor vibes are bland but the food is really yummy and the value fantastic. Tons of sushi and sashimi in this city but it’s not as easy to find nigiri and even harder to find gomae. Been here many times solo and with groups, gotten takeout even more often, and never been disappointed. If you live in the hood it’s a must try; and if you don’t but love Japanese food then it’s worth travelling for.

Overall, the food is good for the value. Bento boxes are a must try for the variety of items included (soup, salad, tempura, and more!). If you're looking for a local budget-friendly option and aren't expecting gourmet sushi, this place could be worth a visit.

One of the best sushi places in St Clair W. Has plenty of veg options too. People working are really sweet with their service.

Had take out.fish was warm, wrap was mushy so was the tempura.gyoza didnt come with any sauce.wasnt inedible but there are lots of better spots.

I love the shrimp udon noodle dish here! It tastes amazing! I love how they cut up the shrimp nice and small so you get one with each bite. The sushi is great too. They are always kind when I come in.

Goen has become my new sushi staple in the neighbourhood.

A sushi platter (46 pieces) and two servings of tempura was more than enough for 5 people. Everything came quick and so fresh. The sushi rice is very tasty and the fish was sliced beautifully. The server was also incredibly polite and attentive. She was also able to split the bill for our group so that it was easier to manage for us!

We have tried many other Japanese restaurants in the neighbourhood. Have ordered here a few times recently and can safely say this is the best. Fresh, very good quality food. Real wasabi. Always follow special requests, esp concerning allergies. And quick! So glad to finally find a good sushi place!

Hands down the best sushi restaurant in Toronto. As a chef, I would say some of their food is gourmet level. I Love their beef teriyaki entrée. Also the handroll sushis.

Fantastic fresh sushi, followed my food allergy request, and even gave me a mochi gift! If you're ever able to pickup some food here don't hesitate. Two thumbs up! Thank you!

Editing my review to add: I'm not trying to tell you how to run your business, but I really think you should put your prices UP! The quality you offer and very generous portions and free gifts you always give, I want to pay you more.
