Gojima Restaurant

I went today for lunch, and Charlie is a gem. Such a precious little spot, all the food was amazing. I had the lunch special and was so much food and tasty! The katsu was thin and well breaded. The complementary side kimchi was to die for, I could taste the quality gochugaru. The whole experience was amazing. Don’t go in a rush, is a place to take your time and eat your meal in a happy place and enjoy with friends.

Great lunch deals. Food was scrumptious and we'll worth the money. The space is honey and the service felt very warm and genuine.

The most delicious sushi I have ever had. Unassuming location but the service and quality of the food is worth finding this spot.

Absolutely my favourite sushi place in Etobicoke! Excellent food and service. I'm there at least twice a month and it never disappoints me.

Impeccable service and really really good food. The server is delightful and takes care of everything perfectly.

The food comes with a soup and a fruit to sweeten the meal and is all free. Unheard of in today's world.

I only recently started going here and I've been back 3 times. The latest one was for my birthday with a group of friends and the staff's service was beyond phenomenal that my friends still raved about their experience after leaving the restaurant. We ordered sake for 3 people and 1 person ordered beer, and the staff put a bit of extra sake in his cup and made a sake bomb. We also got the Korean fried chicken as a complementary dish, and lots of cut up oranges for dessert. The KFC was my friend's favourite meal of the night. My friend told the staff it was my birthday and he brought out a little sparkler. When I was here the previous two times, the staff gave us aprons so we wouldn't stain our clothes.

Best Sushi in the City! Incredibly delicious, the green dragon rolls are a must try! When you walk into Gojima there is a welcoming atmosphere, where you are always treated like family.

I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years because I work in the area. I have NEVER been disapointed. Food is delicious EVERY single time. I have visited other Japanese restaurants in Toronto and GTA but none of them can compare to Gojima. I hope they stay open for another 20 years.

Just tried this place today. It was close by to where I was working and I would go here again. The food was good, filling and well recommended by the waiter. Why 5 stars, well because of the kind act from the waiter/cashier. He offer me an apron so that my white clothes don’t get dirty. The food service was efficient and the restaurant is definitely a place to choose from for clean atmosphere. The workers are Korean, but the sushi chefs are very talented. My bento box was very satisfying. The waiter also offer bon bon (lollipop) as well. Thank you so much and I will definitely stop by again.

Very delicious and fresh sushi! Their bento boxes are proportionately excellent. Service was on point as well. Will definitely go back.

Restaurant is a la carte only however both fish and food quality were ayce level. Overall not worth the price unless you're dining for convenience. Owners were friendly and service was great

We have been a customer over the years and the food continues to be fresh and amazing! Charlie is an incredible individual, with over the top service for all, he is the perfect example of how customer service should be. We love Gojima!

Can’t say it was good or bad.i was surprised my sushi roll tasted more like spinach than crab-based. My other order was replaced with another which I was fine with. At the end, I received no bill. Just a total to tap which I guess included the owner tipping himself. So I’m not quite sure how much I paid for each item in the end but cost a bit more than I had in mind.
