I go there with a group of people once a week.

A good place for dim sum! I always come here with my family to have lunch on long weekends. You don't have to wait that long if you get there around noon -1pm. Good quality dim sum, love all the dumplings, fried tentacles, and fried softshell crab. It's one of the better dim sum places around.

It has been awhile since I last visited this restaurant for dim sum.
It used to be my dimsum place because they serve some old school dim sum 鵪鶉蛋燒賣 and 炸種. They got very busy and had to wait for a long time for a table.
After renovation, the place looks bright and nice. Food is still as good before.
If you want to go, go early to get a table. It's worth a try.

Prices for dim sum in general has gone up across the GTA and in general I wouldn’t recommend dim sum at all these days.

What’s worse at Golden Court is the food has also gone through shrinkflation (see pics and description for details) in addition to the ridiculous prices. Together this makes for really bad value. The food was just average.

Food is meh. Service is ok. The fish was clearly not fresh. There were burnt pieces in my shark fin soup that they passed off as part of cooking. Only the chicken was decent. Go somewhere else, there’s plenty to try around here.

A go to place for dim sum. They have the standard dim sum dishes. Also egg tarts which are getting harder to find these days. And tapioca pudding for dessert. It can get quite busy on the weekends, so be prepared to wait. The dinner menu is also very nice.

The food is horrible, no taste at all. The restaurant is dirty and outdated. Recommend not go!

Dim sum was excellent. Fresh and hot. But very pricey. Will probably go back to Perfect Chinese for dim sum in the future.

Dim sum is ordinary, except the veggie bean curb wraps. There should be much better ones in Toronto. I only stay here for a few days. I will try to taste more.

Golden Court has been around for years and they still serve some very traditional dim sum dishes and uses old school techniques which is a quickly disappearing from the industry.

We tried several dishes and will highlight a few:
- siu mai: made with pork, shrimp and mushrooms and you can see cubes of hand cut pork fat.they don't machine blend the meat into a mousse so the texture is good, and they still mushrooms which is rare nowadays.
- quail egg siu mai: very traditional and hard to find at restaurants these days.
- cotton chicken: another traditional but disappearing dish.the fish maw was slightly under and could be more tender but the flavours were good and the chicken was silky.
- dried shrimp and scallions cheung fun: a classic but they use a lot of dried shrimp which is good.
- fried zhong (glutinous rice dumpling) : a labour intensive dim sum which was presented in a nest-like crispy shell that was light and crisp.lots of filling inside and good control of the oil temperature so it didn't feel greasy.
- baked sago pudding with lotus seed paste: a hard to find dim sum dessert and this one was pretty good.sago was chewy and the sweetness was right, but it was a bit too firm.
- bean curd roll: the filling and flavours were good but it wasn't braised/steamed enough so the bean curd wrapper was chewy
- Har Gow: the wrapper was breaking apart and nothing particularly memorable about this one.

Service is quite good here.it's clear many of the staff members have been working here a while and they're friendly, attentive and efficient.

Although the food came out very slow this evening the service and quality of food was amazing! The servers are so attentive. Definitely, one of the best services I have had at a Chinese restaurant.

The Dim Sum was ok. Seemed pricy for what we got. For example, $20 for a plate of greens. We will not return.

We went here with some Chinese friends who treated us to lunch and it was a great experience. The service was good and the meal was really tasty. We will be going back.

Extremely rude and dismissive staff. Came in a group of 3 on a Sunday for dimsum and the place was packed as expected. There was no organization in regards to the waitlist and 2 tables after us on the waitlist got sat prior to us, only until we mentioned something did the staff finally seat us. After leaving my friend realized they had left their bag at the restaurant. We called and staff said “come look for it yourself”, when we returned to pick up the bag staff was extremely rude and disrespectful and said they would not give the bag back unless we gave a bigger tip. What kind of restaurant will hold someone’s personal property and demand a tip? Staff only gave back the bag after we said we would need the wallet inside the bag in order to get cash and give them a tip. Horrible service and disrespectful staff with no common sense or hospitality whatsoever.

This restaurant is a pretty classic dimsum hub. They have a ton of tables meant for large parties of 8-12, but I’m sure they have tiny 2-4 person tables as well. They offer special live performances on Chinese New Years such as a “fortune god” and lion dancers. In terms of food, they have most of the standard items alongside clay pot rice. It’s dimsum menu has a few items that are a bit harder to find… like black pepper pork stomach and deep fried dace balls with clam sauce. They also have some good desserts like steamed milk with ginger, mini egg tarts and salted egg sesame balls! Overall it’s a nice spot with decent food!

Took a Persian friend to eat Dim sum with me, the lady who mistaken my order communicated in Cantonese with the other waitress saying "oh just give it to him, he won't know", then I gave it back, she also said that "he doesn't know how to order". Horrible service, good thing I knew a bit of Cantonese. While they assumed I didn't know any as I communicated in English. I could've got swindled. Never again coming back to this place. Edit: Oh and the shumai, they did no care to it, no crab egg toppings on it and they were upside down. Didn't look fresh, same could be said with Durian puffs, and others I had ordered. Tasted like they've been stored in the cooler/freezer for the past 2-4 days, since weekdays have no business anyway.
