Went to get highlights done for the first time and had Elena very professional and sweet did an amazing job Suzy and her husband where also very nice and helpful would recommend clean friendly environment make you feel welcome

I have been going to Golden crown since they opened many years ago. They are the best in town and the best in whole GTA area. Amazing service and very nice people. I am so grateful we have a salon like this in the city. I highly recommend it

Reeme is amazing, she's so sweet, an amazing stylist and I always leave with exactly what I asked for. However, when recommend to my brother we discovered the why Reeme is always booked out. Prices are fair and everyone is so sweet, but the haircutting is lacking. My brother got his hair cut by Hader, and was given attitude for tipping $5 on a haircut that was uneven and too short, he shouldn't have tipped at all but he did and was met with ingratitude. I went to Susan and while she is so sweet, my hair was more even when I cut it myself. And Kyrstal, first she handed off my brother as a client to another stylist he didn't book. Then I tried her services and was happy my brother didn't end up getting her. She's a nice lady, but does what she thinks is best and not what asked apparently. I showed 3 refence videos of the bangs I wanted done, all in different angles, all on the same girl. She clarified length and style and got to work. Halfway through I started sweating because I had a bowl cut, but trusted the process. When she was done I left as quick as possible to avoid tears. Look up will byers and mirco-bangs and then imagine something that is somehow both. Its too short, not even close to the style asked for and unsalvageable. Waited a year to grow out my hair so I could get that specific wispy long bangs cut and ended up halfway bald and with a bang bowl cut. In my opinion, wait for Reeme or go elsewhere.

I always have a fantastic experience at golden crown! The hair updo I got was amazing, and I loved it. The staff is friendly and I love everyone here!

My daughter's wedding was on July 7th, booked bridal service for her and me as as the mother of the bride (with Suzan), we booked the appointment months and months in advance, we reached the place (coming all the way from Mississauga) on time, we waited 30 min for Suzan because she was finishing other customer's hair, she started doing my daughter's makeup, did one eye, then left for along time, when I checked she was doing another customer hair again, I told her what are you doing, we are running on tight schedule, the groom and photographer are waiting for us in Oakville at a park already, the makeup was horrible, my daughter has to redo everything herself in the car. Not to mention that we left barely able to make it for the photo shoot session, (stuck in rush hour, as it's Friday) and I was not done at all, she never even did any service to ME (mother of Bride), can you imagine. She never even apologized. To let you know there was a lady who came to have a hair cut and color for her mother in the middle of my daughter's session, and started to get upset as she was booked at the same time with the same person, and she also booked months before, no apology to the lady either, they tried even to make it as it's not their fault, the lady went crazy to hear and see that, she checked her phone and showed them that's she's right, but still they didn't care, and didn't apologize at all.

I am disgusted and appalled by this salon. They overcharged and took advantage of my daughter who came in by herself. I would not recommended this place to anyone and we will never be back. SCAMMERS

Worst haircut I have gotten, to start I asked for a girl to cut my hair and got a man, after that they butchered my hair so bad it was so uneven and ugly and especially not what I asked for. At the end I tipped him $5 and he rolled his eyes and scoffed and after I left I realized he took money from me. I would not recommend this place.

Amazing first experience. Second was absolutely horrible. Went in for a haircut with Krystle, was instead given a man. He cut my hair too short and went “haha I cut off too much. ” Hair was uneven, not what i asked for and too short (like an inch left). I wanted a trim with my layers kept, instead i received an uneven mullet. I was charged for a long womens haircut and not a mens which doesnt make sense. On top of that I tipped to be nice and received an EYEROLL for it being $5. Absolutely unacceptable experience. Had this salon recommended to me by many people and loved it at first but will not be returning for a service again.

Nice, clean and friendly atmosphere. Badyr (?) has been making me look great for about 8 years now. Oh, and I assume they do women's hair as well!

I am very unhappy with my results.i went and saw susan today and i specifically asked her for a straight cut with no layers and she gave me a U cut and i now have more layers then i went to her with.i will not be seeing susan as my hairstylist anymore.

Missed appointment for family emergencies and they had no compassion when i wanted to rebook

Visited Susan at this salon and she completely burnt my hair. My hair is brittle and breaking at an alarming rate. My hair looks and feels awful. Complete waste of money and time. I would advice you avoid this place at all costs!

Anna was great and did a wonderful job of cutting and styling my hair. The salon is clean and staff are very friendly. Highly recommend!
