As a owner, you should treat every customer equal, don’t judge and insult your customer please, be respectful to everyone

I was very pleased by my visit and subsequent purchase of a beautiful traditional yet fashionable gharara suit.
Neelam was very friendly and took the time to understand what I was looking for and showed me outfits in my budget.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Golden Silk Outlet.

The lady does not care about you and how things look on you, or the quality of the clothes she sells. She only cares about the money. She will make it seem like she has knowledge, but really she is just applying dirty sales tactics.

I bought clothing from this store. What we didn’t notice at the store was the extremely bad quality of the clothes. We were given false information about what could be altered and the price of the alteration (both of which influenced my decision to buy). Of course by the time it was time to alter, half the things could not be done and the price was twice as much what was originally quoted. It was infuriating. I went to a different tailor after getting my item “altered” from here and was immediately told that what I needed done was absolutely possible.

It’s easy to get sucked into the sales tactic of the lady at this store, but please please take my advice and spend your money elsewhere. It is so so not worth it. I wish this review was written before I stepped foot into this store.

I had an amazing experience with Golden Silk for purchasing an Indowestern for my Sangeet, and Sherwani for my wedding. The quality of the clothing was impeccable, they looked great, were tailored perfectly and arrived before time.

In addition, the love and care that Mr. Singh and Ms. Neelam provided during the process was the defining factor in my experience. They left no stone unturned in making sure I got exactly what I wanted.

Golden Silk has very unique pieces, whereas other places I’ve been to they have the same designs but here you will find a one of a kind design. I loved the variety of collection they had, Neelam was amazing. She was honest when it came to what outfits would look good for my cousin’s events and was very patient when it came to making sure all my outfits were as I wanted. Great service and very professional. I would highly recommend this store to my family and friends.

I dont recommend anyone going to this place, they are very pushy! They are greedy for money, I had a really bad experience. The owner, the guy working there will seem nice at first just to get the sale afterwards he doesn't care for his customers.

We came here just to browse for my sisters wedding lahenga and found one we liked on his "clearance, as-is" rack. We paid a deposit to hold the piece as his designer wasn't available to take measurements for some tailoring they offered. When we came back a few weeks later, the lady barely took my sisters measurements and kept talking over us, saying nothing really needs to be done other than taking the blouse out a little (we still paid $100 for tailoring at the end, mind you). When we went to pick up the piece, they asked if she wanted to try it on (obviously, we need to make sure things look right before we leave with it). Apparently, the original border of the blouse didn't have enough material for the full blouse, so the lady MADE AN "EXECUTIVE DECISION" and added a new border (which obviously clashed with the whole lahenga and we hated). We had never gotten a call about an issue or anything, just noticed the border when she went to try it on. They argued with us that this is the only "matching border" she had, and if we wanted something else we could bring it to her and she would have her tailor fix it. When we told her to just put the old border back just on the front, she said okay, and back off it went. Now when we went to pick up, there were other tailoring issues, and this woman kept trying to argue with us that "its because of the zipper", or "just drape the dupatta a certain way and you cant even tell". Pretty much just to get rid of us, she sent us to the tailor directly (a wonderful woman who knows what she's doing. Makes me think the lady from the store gave her unclear or wrong instructions). How do you make an executive decision on someone's wedding dress, and then tell them they are the problem? Probably some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a bridal boutique, won't shop here again, and I definitely won't recommend them.

I would never recommend you guys to anyone. I came in their store just to browse their bridal selection as I was looking for my bridal lehenga. I talked to the lady first and she was very polite- not pushy at all and understood very easily what I was looking for. I came back with my fiancé a few weeks later and we came across a really nice lehenga just hanging on the rack. Mr. Singh got involved and became VERY pushy. They told us this was an original Sabyasachi but couldn’t even prove it nor did it even look anything close to the quality of a sabyasachi… Long story short - they’re not very honest and come off as extremely greedy. Mr. Singh doesn’t know how to sell as he goes back and forth saying one thing and 10 seconds later changes his statement. You guys really need to do better- I was recommending them to people after my first visit but quickly changed my mind.
There’s way better and well priced bridal boutiques who actually cater to their clients.

I would never recommend you guys to anyone.
