Dosas were wonderful and filling. Had the masala chai and coffee, both very good. Lovely couple running the restaurant.

Ganesh uncle was awesome.sambhar was best in whole Ontario. The dosas are great too and must try is thali for South Indians.

This place has very good dosa. Prepared fresh and will not disappoint and they’re huge and very filling. We also had chicken biryani, which was very good as well. We ordered some shakes which they made fresh and not premade. Will definitely come back here.

Experience was 10/10. Stopped by with no expectations and was blown away. Food was incredible, so fresh and flavourful. The service was over the top amazing. Maya explained their story as a family business looking to bring some unique flavours to the neighbourhood. Will definitely be back!

Quality has declined badly.

Both of our goat rolls had zero goat (yet price increased). Owner told me it's there, just ground and mixed with potatoes. Seriously? We all know what ground pork, ground beef, ground lamb tastes and feels like, but ground goat is an invisible puree now? I've bought them in years past without complaint.

Also, we ordered goat curry and they just forgot to make it.

The previous time we went, our naan tasted stale, looking identical the frozen naan we get from Food Basics. Definitely not fresh like most Indian restaurants. Curry portions were smallish.

Dosas are fresh and large with tasty sauces, though mine was missing salt this one time. Methu vada was nice. Sambar is now mediocre (needs more vegetables, less water).

We gave Golden Taste a second chance after disappointment, and they failed again. Not going back.

If you go, I recommend you only buy a dosa.

One of the best Indian restaurants for South indian food. Highly recommend and Ganesh Uncle who is the owner very down to earth and great service as well. On top of that its value for money and if you guys love Dosa then there is many options but my personal favourite is Palak paneer masala dosa (Do try it). Thank you for the great service and great food.

This was my first time here. My friends from India brought me and I had an amazing experience. The food was great and my favourite thing was the medu vada with chutney. I also really like their butter chicken dosa. I will be back! Staff was very friendly too.

The flavours and aroma of the dishes are outstanding. The mutton kothu is one of the best I've ever had. The idly and vada were soft, flakey and full of flavour. Their dosa was delicious, forget going to dosa hut. And everything was made fresh to order, what more can you ask for. So glad Bradford has a place serving south Indian dishes.

I thoroughly enjoyed an authentic and delicious South Indian meal consisting of chicken curry, chickpea curry and rice, all reasonably priced. Already looking forward to my next visit

Let me tell you the food here is always up to the mark. Uncle make delicious food every time you go.
All of the staff are friendly and very humble. The dosa are must to try for everyone in this town and around.
We always love to go here again and again.
They treat everyone like their child.

I tried Kara dosa…. It taste fantastic. One of my fav place to visit if I crave for dosa. Staff is friendly and the owner of the store overwhelmingly cute. The samber is the best one all over in Bradford. I always crave for rasam and rice, the cost is decent. Love this place. Recommend everyone who haven’t tried before, if you are a fan of South Indian food.

Amazing dosa and idly. Authentic sambar. It was a real taste of home. I was very surprised to find a restaurant with this quality, especially so far from the city. It was a real treat and I highly recommend it to anybody with a taste for South Indian food.

Wait staff was wonderful and asked chef questions if she was unsure about ingredients. Chef let us sample some curry. He came out and shared a detailed ingredient and flavor list. All around delicious and a great experience. Thank you we will be back:)

So good food. Felt like I am eating in India. Dosa was so tasty that I started missing Delhi.

Worst customer service ever…. We went over there with our friends, according to us in one of our dishes it was extra salt so let them its too much salt in there, then a lady took that dish to the chef and she said chef wants to talk to us, we went for payment and chef came at the desk with the dish and started tasting the dish from which we ate in front of everyone saying there is no salt in the dish (which was really disgusting) and started arguing with us and didn’t accepted his mistake. He didn’t wanted to listen what we are saying. Taste was average and prices are high, never going at this place again.

Ordered Butter Chicken and received a small portion made of store bought sauce. I could taste the readymade sauce in it. May be good for people who is not from South Asia

The hygiene was HORRIBLE! The lady who took our order and one of the cooks in the back were fully wiping their nose with their hands and never washed them. After that her fingers were all over the side of the cutlery that goes in your mouth. Absolutely no sense of hygiene. The food was very salty and did not taste good at all. Something was off. It was not authentic what so ever. So grossed out from the whole experience. Avoid at all cost!

Amazing Indian food! We tried dosa and idli and were completely blown away. The taste was out of the world. It felt so homely. The owners are lovely people, and we had a great conversation. Absolutely recommend this place. We will be back soon.

Spicy Chicken Biryani definitely spicy. Chicken is really good, spice brought tears down my eyes but worth it!

The food was Really Good. It was our first visit to this restaurant and we were very pleased. All dishes were hot and fresh. Staff were very friendly and food was well priced. We are going back again!:)

This was our first time ordering at Golden Taste of Asia. We did it online, which was very easy. When we came to pick it up our order they were just packing it in the bag. It was warm and smelt really good. When we got home and opened it up, we were not disappointed. All 6 dishes we order were delicious. We will definitely order from here again.

One of he best restaurants i got in entire ontario, finally they satisfied my craving since i have been in canada, guys try it atleast one time, thanks Mr. Ganesh sir.

Probably the worst Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. Naan is store bought. Food is salty and very acidic. Will not come back. Rather do the 45 minute drive to Brampton instead for food.

Our family stopped by last weekend for a quick lunch and were impressed by the varieties of dosa available and the deliciousness of each item we ordered.
We ordered mushroom masala dosa, garlic masala dosa, onion masala dosa and the kids ordered cheese dosa. Everyone loves their dosas and their fish cutlet did not fail either. We specially loved their sambar!
Their service is always on point! Highly recommended.
Portion is also worth it and won’t put a dent on your wallet

Can't even begin to describe how amazing this South Indian/Sri Lankan find was!

When I saw "Asia" in the name of the restaurant, I thought noodles, stir-fry and such - this restaurant is not that.

I was alone and ordered an appetizer, main dish AND a dosa.

I'll start by saying my eyes are much bigger than my tummy and the menu was vast!
Even if I had of had company, it would have been enough for at least 4 hungry adults!

The MIX AND ENJOY IDLY VADA was 2 types of a doughy deliciousness, served with 3 sauces/chutney. It also was served with a delectable vegetable soup! (I ordered extra to take home - SO good!)

The GOAT BIRYANI was (I think) the best I've ever had. The rice was flavourful, aromatic and almost fluffy in it's texture. The goat was BY FAR the most tender I've enjoyed in any restaurant.

Last, thank goodness, but certainly deserves an applause of its own; The BUTTER CHICKEN DOSA -
OH. MY. GOD.
The dosa is a thin, panckake/crepe like bread, that is folded over, with the butter chicken inside, swear to God, it's about 16 inches wide.
The butter chicken is some kind of secret magic. I was full (see above) yet somehow managed to scarf down almost half of it! The chicken was tender, not dry at all (noteworthy, as many restaurants fail at this). The sauce was slurp-able and I suggest making sure you keep a spoon to enjoy every last drop.

The restaurant itself is modest and clean. I only saw the chef/owner and one wait staff and both were friendly and efficient.

The food was prepared fresh and was brought out to me and presented on platters with all the accouterments displayed and described. Dig. In!

I was SO involved in my food, I didn't even ask for their names.

Had they not been so polite, I'm 100% sure they would have been laughing at the amount of food I was served. However, they brought me pack-up containers and extra chutneys and sauces to enjoy ALL my leftovers at home.

Anyhow. Stop here. ASAP
It is a must.

I asked for large goat curry. This is what we get. Overall taste was ok for dosa and goat curry was disgusting I literally puked after eating and roti was so thick and undercooked and i am very disappointed with portion of goat curry container and taste. 1 star i gave beacuse of dosa which was ok.

Very nice and clean place. For starters Medhu Vada is best and dosa kara masala dosa is best for who like spicy.

Way too expensive for such little portions. I'd rather drive to brampton and spend the money on gas for better food.

Never have I had such tasteless biryani.

Tried some snacks here few days ago. The regular tea and samosas were good. Onion budge (bajji) tasted average, like it is made with less chickpea flour and more of a 65 masala powder.

Stay away from this place they turned away a customer with a service dog that is so disrespectful thing to do they complain about Covid not being open then they turn this customer away because he has a service dog SHAME on you I wouldn't eat there if it was the last restaurant on earth. Shame on you.

Had to drop off their car from scarborough and the owner made me feel like I was at home, the butter chicken and naan bread I was given is probably the best I’ve had and I’ve been to a lot of south Asian spots in Scarborough! Would recommend if you’re in the area, very friendly staff and really good food!

Our usual place in Bradford for curries was closed so we tried Golden Taste. They market themselves as more of a South Indian restaurant and this is probably the case. For more North Indian style foods (re: curries), you're better off going elsewhere. We ordered the chicken tikka, butter chicken and mutter paneer; they were out of the goat curry when we tried to order it. All 3 curries were incredibly salty, as some other reviewers have pointed out. The tikka had a tinny tomato taste, as if the gravy had not been cooked enough. The mutter paneer was almost inedible. The peas were tiny and tough, and the paneer looked like it had been fried beforehand, but the pieces were dry, tough and slightly burned on the edges. I would come back to this place to try their dosas and kothu, but go elsewhere when I'm in a curry mood.

Pathetic scumbag of an owner who denies entry to service animals. Shame on you and I sincerely hope you go bankrupt because of your stupidity.

Butter chicken & garlic naan is now $18. Kicker is when you hear the microwave fire up in the back *facepalm*

Overpriced, and I got food poisoning from the goat curry, which was 9$ for 3 pieces of goat in a tiny container!

The rice was separate for 5$! These people are scammers and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are numerous health violations going on.

Avoid this place at all cost!

Don't go to this place even if it is the last place on earth
Refusing a person with a service dog is the worst thing to do.
People have a service dog for a reason and are having difficult times dealing with it and to boot store and restaurants are refusing entry.
You and your employee should do more research on people dealing disabilities and understand how important it is for them to have a service dog with them at all times.

Got butter chicken, rice and naan here. Very pricey for the small portion I received and taste was not great. Tasted like a frozen microwaveable meal. Not sure if I just visited the restaurant on an off day, but I unfortunately won't be returning.

Watch out! This company is charging 3x the original cost for their food and their reason is because of "covid". Sounds to me like a business trying to recoup loses by taking it from the pockets of people who have also lost and struggle because of covid. Absolute disgusting. Boycott this restaurant and get them out of our town. We should all be looking out for eachother and helping instead of gouging one another. Sickening.

This is the worst india resttraunt ever. For 25$ they gave me extremely small portions. When i questioned the quantity, he threw the food in dustbin (in front of me) and said “Do not come back here ever”. He did not apologize and instead of feeling sorry, he got angry and aggressive. I do not mind the microscopic portions but attitude is shameful. WILL NEVER COME BACK EVER!

I had an awesome time at this spot. We liked the excellent ambience and the meals. The waiters are very amiable. I’m glad we finally decided to try this place.

Their dosa is amazing! The best I've ever had. We love it and the quality and service is consistent. Prices are reasonable and the kids love it too! So many delicious options with a real home made feel.

I just loved their food. I always get fantastic customer service there. The place is neat and the staff members are always very nice. Will come back again.

I got the veggie thali. Although the cashier was generous enough to provide extra portions of foods which I would’ve preferred instead of the pre-assorted vegetable options, parts of the food itself was (unfortunately) either salty or lacked salt entirely, and the milk dessert prepared had seemed to be completely spoiled.

I really hate posting negative reviews, but unfortunately I am forced to post this because of the worst experience I had last week. I have ordered twice from this restaurant and both times the food was not satisfying. First time the food tasted salty and the next time they served over burnt food with burnt smell and taste. For the steep price we spend for the food, they should provide atleast a reasonable service. Very disappointed.

Ordered take out today as we try to support local restaurants. I called and the person (male) who took my order was very professional and polite. We ordered chicken biryani, samosa and chicken thali. It is soooo delicious, my husband and I can't stop eating. It is great to know that you get what you pay for and will definitely be a returning customer. Being of indian decent it's hard to get good indian food in Bradford but this place is amazing. Keep it up

This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I visit many restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The stuff is very cordial and the cooking they cook is so yummy. I am always happy to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.
