Great meal and service! Pork noodle bowl had great flavour and servings were very generous. Friendly and accommodating service.

The worst pho I have ever tasted.the soup tasted very blank like water. When I have told them they said they will fix it but have brought out the same. They said they just poured the new broth but how can I trust what they could have done with the soup in the kitchen. Why can’t they just make new soup? The price is very uselessly expensive for no taste food. Hope the owner learns how to cook properly. I wouldnt even give one star.

The food is damn delicious. Would recommend and will surely come again and again annnddd again.

I had the pho beef and meatballs. The meat was super tender, and the broth was super rich. I think it was 20 bucks and for the amount of food you get that's a great deal. Service was super friendly if not having to run around like a chicken without a head, (theirs usually just one waiter).
The atmosphere is very nice too. The dining room isn't to bright, the decorations are very friendly and cute. The new owner himself is very friendly too and you can tell he really cares about the quality of his food and restaurant. Definitely stop by golden wok the quality, quantity, and price of food just can't be beat.

Golden wok is my favourite place in town to either dine in or take out. The best thing is the very good quality of food and service there. Dine in with friends in great ambience.

Just.ok. We ordered a few things from here, and while the vermicelli bowl was good, everything else was disappointing. We ordered a few dishes, the most disappointing being the spring rolls (rice paper ones). They weren’t even wrapped and falling apart in the container. Stir fry was also pretty bland.

Oh.my. God.the food is so amazing! Recommended to me by a colleague and this will be my new obsession. The portions are huge and the food is so fresh! Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The spring rolls are amazing. You've got to eat here!

Hands down the best fried rice in town!
They're so accommodating, I told them not to add chicken in my meal and they made sure to not add chicken.
This was my second time ordering from them.
There are not many vegetarian options, but they're very accommodating.
And I literally just wrote a note on my online delivery app.
The quantity however is a little less.
But the taste and service make up for it.
Will definitely be ordering again!

Normally the best noodle bowls and spring rolls in town. Just be careful not to order delivery. My order was an hour later than I was quoted. When I contacted the establishment to notify them.that my spring rolls (we ordered 6 plus the ones in the noodle bowls) were cold and mushy, dripping with grease, I was told they would come.back and get it but would only refund me half of what I paid. When I agreed to return the food but wanted a full refund the response I received was "you've got to be kidding me, it wasn't even that long". Very unfortunate that I received that response as I eat there quite often and regularly recommend to others.

My favourite restaurant for over 15 years running. The noodle bowl and crab wontons are A+. Friendly and very fast service. I’ve tried to find a comparable noodle bowl in other cities and no luck. This place is the best.
Also I’ve never had issues finding parking so that is good, too.

Great food, delivery Quick I am so glad they were open Christmas day here in thunder Bay I'm a truck driver and not any truck stops open with food service today I would recommend this place to anyone and will be ordering again when I come through.

Called to get a vegetarian dinner combo and got called back that the kitchen wasn't happy they had to make so many changed and then wanted to upcharge me for the inconvenience.

Was excited with the first bite but unfortunately the oil needs to be changed more regularly and cooked at a higher heat as the spring rolls and other dishes we ordered were too heavy in oil taste

The food was probably good when it was cooked the first time. Mine was definitely microwaved. The egg roll was floppy like a piece of paper towel. My wontons were soggy and the chicken balls were hard as rocks. I am definitely never going back.

Honestly past 3 orders, they won't bring egg rolls. Called and complained. But they reat assured my meal is correct because they packaged it themselfs. Honestly loved these guys. No more. How can't get you get an order correct. If you don't have egg rolls. Say so. Don't lie to me. Telling me my spring rolls are actually egg rolls. Pff terrible. Would always calls them. But definitely want to change me mind. Anyone recommend a restaurant that cares and doesn't lie constantly?

I ordered Pho and Beef noodle salad here all the time. A good go-to place for Vietnamese food. Reasonable price. Nice atmosphere. Staff can be confusing sometimes, but friendly.

This little beautiful restaurant stays close to the city hall bus stop then it would be a good option for ones travel around the city by bus, like student (we are. LOL. My friend and I came here after the lunch time. As the owner said the crowded time is about 12-1pm. We are served the best dish of this restaurant noodle bowl and vegetable fried rice with tofu. The whole noodle bowl was so good, pork is soft enough to chew (some from other restaurant could be too hard and burnt), the spring roll is crunchy and the shrimp is so perfect as the black line = sand vein have been removed (If the shrimp still have this one, OMG the sand would damage the whole bow- It did happen to me in another restaurant). The fish sauce with hot chili made the taste rising high. The fried rice also spiced with tofu as we ordered. We also have deep fried wonton and my friend ordered one for his wife with another big noodle bowl. One thing attracted me is the style of the dish they choose. The dishes did make the meal look like a piece of art. Totally for all was 52.88$ after tax. I must recommend this one as this one has a good environment which could give you a cozy area for your family. The art pieces on the wall were so nice. There are two corners on each side of the main entry which could be a perfect corner for who wants a private space. It stays near he city hall and among many offices then it is a good option for lunch for the office staff. The mirror in the male restroom surprised me. Like this style. LOL.

Bad food. Worst service high prices have had better meals out of the dumpster behind the soup kitchen.

WAY WAY WAY over priced. Spent 57$ on a dinner for 2 which barely fed one. Don't expect the stardard size takeout trays. They charge you over double and give you about half of a normal takeout tray. I nearly lost it when I was told price at checkout. 18$ for 1 tiny order of chicken even the chicken fried rice was a tiny amount I've gotten gravy at KFC that is a larger container.not exaggerating btw. And on top of everything it wasn't that good I would say a 6 out of 10 for Chinese. I almost left the food and walked out but I ordered it I guess that's an obligation. There is avreasa they don't post their prices on the website. Don't go here, tiny amounts for Chinese food and insanely high prices for it.

Food is very good. Decor desparately needs updating, however you're not asking for atmosphere as you are wanting good food!
