We have our property with goldview. So happy Darryl is the property manager for our area and he is excellent. He was quick, efficient and very communicative. He got our issue solved very quickly. Much appreciate his help.

Fantastic Management Team, I had the pleasure of living at 560 Front St. W one of the properties managed by Goldview. The property manager Amos Balboa is incredibly competent, understanding, and considerate of the property and residents who resided in the building.

Having lived in many building I was shocked to see that a building in Toronto can run like clock work. Everything is cleaned on a regular cadence. There are no surprise fees, and communication is 10/10. I would 100% recommend these people.

Amos is a fantastic building manager! He's communicative, kind, and I know I can always go to him for any questions or concerns. He's also very receptive to feedback and seems to genuinely care for residents.

My experience with property manager Amos has been exceptional. He has really made a difference in our residence. He makes himself easily accessible, he’s very approachable, friendly and professional. Amos takes concerns seriously and follows up on issues. He is diligent to advocate for residents and keep costs down while providing a clean, safe and functional building. Alexis has been the property manager at our condominium complex for several years. In my time living at Dayspring, we have had two property managers before Alexis. Alexis’s expertise as a property manager has been far above what we had here previously. She is professional, courteous, and effective. She truly cares for the residents at Dayspring, most of whom are seniors. I am a member of the Board of Directors for our corporation, and Alexis is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. My sister also lives at the complex and is also on the Board of Directors, and we are both very happy to be working with someone of Alexis' caliber.

Do not purchase a condo managed by this company. The worst service I witnessed from a company and highly regret my purchase. Terrible communication from management

Repairs take forever, and contacting management does nothing

Condo managers do nothing at all and when you contact their bosses, you realize that it is even worse up top. Positive reviews mostly come from contractors who get paid by them.

Of you are ready to be abused by their management and see your condo fees go to waster then purchase from this building.

Goldview is an exceptional property management company and is very attentive to their residents. My building is always clean and maintenance requests are done quick and easy. 5 stars all around!

Much like most condos built in the past 10 years, there are plenty of structural and logistics issues that come up due to poor design and subpar materials - but Pat is a master at tackling these problems head-on and correcting the errors these builders left behind. The property management of 135 Hillcrest is terrible. They do not support the residents. Communication is poor. They are not interested in ensuring owners and residents are served.
E.g, they hire contractors that cause damage to the residents' property and turn a blind eye. Also, when there is a theft, they refuse to check security footage and instead put the blame on the victims of theft. They will also threaten to sue whenever owners speak up, or fail to comply with arbitrary rules that are communicated with extremely short notice. Also, property management employees tend to be rude, unhelpful, and hostile. As a real estate investor, I would highly advise against doing any business with Goldview, and I would highly advise against investing in property at 135 Hillcrest Ave in Mississauga due to the management.

I want to commend you on our condominium manager. She goes out of her way to assist all of us in a very professional, cordial manner. Other owners have also made very positive comments as well!

We have recently sold our unit. I wanted to let you know that our condominium enjoys and benefits from Goldview's stellar reputation. Our condo is well managed and maintained and this has a very positive impact on the market price of units here at the building.

I like the way Goldview communicates to the owners and keeps us informed and aware of the superb job you are doing on our behalf. For some time now, I have wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the performance of our PM. I was impressed before day one, because she actually started looking at email traffic before her start date, and weighed-in with comments and observations. She has shown herself to be very engaged, proactive, responsive and informed. Kudos must also be given to you and the office staff for the support that she receives - it just demonstrates that your organization is highly functional and takes its management responsibility seriously. I cannot describe to you the relief and reduction of stress that I feel, since Goldview has joined us.

Thought I would write about my experiences with Michael Goldrich the owner of Goldview property management.
I have been a natural gas supplier to over 20 property management spanning the last 22 years. And I have worked with Goldview Property Management for 17 of those years.
This guy Michael works harder for his clients than any other owner of a property management team I have ever dealt with. He actually really cares about getting the greatest deal and price for his customers. I really believe he feels a real moral responsibility to do what is right for his customers. That being said this guy is hard to do business with! The grinding down for the lowest price is unrelenting and it feels he cares little about my margins lol. When a price is finally agreed upon that's when every word of the contract is meticulously gone over and analyzed. Thankfully he has his lawyer son Justin to help him. This process of back and fourth can take a couple of weeks.and by then the price of gas has changed!
Anyway I am not complaining. Michael has the characteristics of a good moral man and takes his business responsibilities very seriously. And boy does he pay attention to detail! Behind the scenes have to send some kudos to Cheryl the girl running the day to day. Great to work with.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael Goldrich and his team when I was on the condo board as they managed our heritage loft building in Toronto's west end. Our building not only had unique needs as a heritage building but also unresolved matters from the builder, architect and many trades people who had worked to turn this authentic loft to a residential property. For years before Goldview, we have been dealing with managers who at best continually overpromised and significantly underdelivered, too often devolving into complete indifference with the needs of residents. Our property manager is pleasant and approachable. She cares about all the condominium's residents, and attends to all the maintenance issues in a effective and efficient manner.

Our property manager is courteous, knowledgeable, attentive and responsive. He is a great resource and the board is very lucky to have him. This also extends to our administrator who has been terrific.

I want to thank the Goldview staff for your communication from your office which has been efficient, helpful and courteous. The superintendent has been patient and polite, cares about his work and the people living here which is much appreciated.

Commercial tenant review:

For 4 years I had the unfortunate displeasure of leasing a commercial property ‘managed’ by Goldview property management. From day one my interactions with the property manager and lease administrator have rude, hostile and inappropriate. Their nepotism amongst tenants, inconsistent and often undocumented ‘rules’ make it difficult for small businesses with existing practices to comply much less thrive.

For years we’d get random emails or notices warning us that we were using our unit for ‘unauthorized uses’, having never been asked to provide them with a scope of my business, I discovered that their ignorance of my industry would make it very difficult for me to conduct business.

For example, after 4 years we recently received our FIRST code of conduct listing which includes practices employed by almost all of the tenants. Had we been notified of these rules upon signing we would have NEVER signed a lease, much less renewed. We were quite clear with the onsite manager about what we did and how we planned to use the space but our biggest mistake was assuming this would be understood, respected and passed along to the proper channels for consideration.

As caterers, we need to be able to allow clients to pick up their orders and for large events come into our space and try the food. We also had an existing event series we ran once a month which allowed us to acquire new business and innovate both personally and professionally especially in slimmer months post-holidays and before the summer.

After three years in the space, we were very abruptly notified of a vague ‘no gathering’ rule despite there being a yoga studio, acting studio, Judo, etc on site.

There is a no signage policy, despite the aforementioned yoga studio which is allowed to have a sandwich board. There is a no animal policy on the property, despite a few abled body tenants who live in the building with their pets. There is no alcohol allowed onsite despite a wine broker and several catering companies onsite.

Rules get erected and abolished at a moments notice and your ‘warnings’ are usually threatening all cap emails sent by the administrator. Their endless stream of fire, water, electrical and other testing is, of course, necessary but not communicated in a timely fashion. Often emails are sent moments before 5 pm for the next day, leaving food businesses scrambling to make arrangements and unable to contact head office for clarification.

They consider themselves authorities on matters well outside their scope; something I’ve experienced both with their understanding of how insurance companies issue policies and their understanding/ assumptions around building codes. In both situations, I had to take hours upon hours out of my day to get governing bodies to challenge their position so I could continue to run my business. They routinely make appointments with tenants and don’t show up or get confused on the purpose of the meeting despite they being the ones who called it.

I for one will NEVER lease or purchase a building personally or commercially managed by this company and I advise those thinking of using them to ask for tenant reviews and contact info so you can speak to a real person about their experiences!

As condominium corporation auditors, we have worked with Goldview's property management and accounting teams. Michael Goldrich and his staff ensure that details are looked after and issues dealt with in a professional and timely manner. Our experience with Goldview is complete satisfaction. Slum landlord's agent. I have visited friends in several of their managed buildings in Forest Hill & went on "secret shopper" to inspect a unit for rent. Plaster off the walls never repaired, filthy unpainted stairwells. Garages where the wall are so filthy it is impossible to think it would pass a city inspection.
