The staff are amazing and knowledgeable, I was going in to get a new hybrid, and they took the time with me to check my swing/ball speed to see where I'm at.really focus on what I needed rather than make a quick sale. All and all i was there for 2 hours lol and they made me try out 10 different clubs just to get 1. Would recommend just asking all the questions and will help you as best they can.

Took my son to this location in search of a new golf bag and was helped out by Sofie who was extremely knowledgeable on their products and was able to help us find the perfect bag. I can’t recommend this location and Sofie enough!

This review is more for Studio X than golf town.

Had a putter fitting with Scott Allen, it was an excellent experience. Got to try a variety of putters and since there was no booking after my initial appointment, he spent extra time with me past my fitting time to really dial in my numbers for my putter and get me the best possible putter for my game instead of rushing me out after my fitting time ran out. Studio X uses the latest putting technology with Quintic as well and have a wide variety of putters to choose from including LAB golf. Not only did we find the right equipment for my game but I better understood my flaws in my putting stroke and how to improve with Scott's help and Quintic. Walked out with some tips I can use on the green in addition to a brand new putter I picked up from golf town.

I noticed the selection of putters was bigger than TXG when I had a putter fitting a few years back. Highly recommend you try Scott for a putter fitting. Very knowledgeable fitter who takes takes time with his clients.

Love the Golftown experience. Gave it three stars only because they always seem out of my waist/inseam measurements on many products I'd otherwise buy. But hey thanks for saving me a few bucks.

Visited this location for the re grip event. Naturally it''s a busy time but everyone in the shop area was great and accommodating all the way up to the people working the front cashiers. Great experience here!

EDIT: I wanted to add that they had my clubs ready to go THE NEXT DAY! Unreal experience all around. Will be my go to golftown moving forward!

While the renovations of the store look great, the service there is a bit of an issue.
Took 1 single club to have my broken shaft replaced. I go back on the day GolfTown tells me it will be ready. They give me back the club with the new shaft but has not been installed. I don't realize this till I get home. I return and am assured that the club will be ready the following day.
I go back today and while the club has a new shaft, the grip I provided to them was still not installed. How is this 100% ready to be picked up? So I wait for a few minutes for the grip to be installed.
I was going to the range afterwards but I can't use this club for a couple hours since the grip is still wet.
Been going to this GolfTown for years and I have noticed the service level standard has decreased in the last few years.
In the past, you used to receive a phone call when your clubs were indeed ready to be picked up. Also, why did the GolfTown staff originally give me back my broken club with the new shaft even though it was in the "Done" area?

Update:
Steve the assistant manager, contacted me and apologized for the service and refunded me the installation charge so I appreciated the effort to recognize my experience at this GolfTown.

Recently went to Golf Town Etobicoke to pick up a club that was on hold for me. Big shout out to Daniel for treating me first class. While he was helping me he stopped to help another customer with some clothing selections and showed he really cared. Also, Nam in the pro shop helped me with getting new grips for my wife. Really knew the products and shared his objective opinion on several grips.

Really great location with everything you could need! Sadly my third time going in and not one person who works there has said hi or offered to help me with anything. I’ve had staff look at me and walk the other direction when all I wanted to know was where the sand wedges are for left handed ppl. I even waited for someone to be done with a customer and when I went in to ask they walked to greet a man coming in the front door, so rude. I’m a young women of colour and maybe they aren’t taking me seriously but either way, golfing women shopping without a man go to Sportchek or shop online. They helped me right away and actually took the time to even acknowledge my presence. It’s a shame because this really is a nice big store with just rude staff I guess.

If you are a left handed golfer like myself this is not the place for you, been there on many occasions looking for a club that's advertised in a left and in all the years I have had no luck. Always tell me they are sold out and the staff want nothing to do with you after that and moves on to someone else.

Fantastic new renovation at this Golf Town location! It looks like an entirely new store! The interior is bright, fresh, with departments well laid out and easy to shop. There is a huge selection of product in all categories including the latest and greatest in the game, all alongside expert staff.

The addition of the custom fitting studio is an amazing add! Allowing for pro level service to ensure you’re playing with the best clubs for you. 10/10 experience

I went into this store with money in pocket ready to buy 3 clubs and left empty-handed and had a way better experience just buying those 3 clubs online. The staff here are racist plain and simple. I'm not white and not one floor person offered to help or ask if I needed help, yet every single white person in there was asked more than once if they were ok. I don't like using the "racist" card ever, but this was ridiculous and I'll never support this place even though I indirectly did by buy from there online. The manager was the only semi-helpful person and I know he was the manager bc he was considerably older than the other jerks that were walking the floor. Also, I could've sworn one of the jerk clerks was half asian to boot.just a bad experience all around and not worth the drive.

Always get attitude everytime I come to this location. These middle aged, older men are always speaking like they’re better then everyone else. Of course until I actually purchase a product do they turn nice. Like I’m driving the extra 15 to the other golf town

Went in to get a an iron reshafted for the first time and was very disappointed with the service. I thought I would be a little bit more involved in the selection process but both the shaft and grip were selected for me and I was handed the bill. There was no information provided on the product I was paying for whatsoever. Not to mention I never received a call or any sort of notification that the club was ready for pickup. Will avoid this location in the future

Very Poor customer service. Went in with my wife this past Saturday afternoon to look at purchasing a new set of clubs for her and golf clothing for Christmas gifts. We explained to the young salesman at the Queensway location that my wife really enjoyed golf this past season and wanted to purchase a better set of clubs. He basically turned us off by directly us to the most expensive set, not sure if he is on commission, would not show us anything else. It became apparent he was not listening to the customer's needs so we left and went to make a purchase at another sports store. I have told all of my family members and friends not to go to this location. Thank you

I personally did not feel they have the friendliest staff. Upon my arrival I felt interrogated as to what I was coming in for (meanwhile there was only 2 other people in the store) then as I went to the back to get some help the older man was just so miserable. The younger gentleman was helpful and kind. If not for him I would have just walked out to be honest and gone elsewhere for what I needed.

Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Staff was not pushy and let me see all of the stuff without any pressure. I bought 4 items. Prices were very reasonable. Store was well laid out.

Absolutely amazing customer service. I ran into an issue with a bag under the 1 year warranty. They didn't have any bags in stock so i was promised a credit and another bag. Todd (the manager) went above and beyond to make sure i was totally happy. From a sociable and friendly demeanour, to a professional outlook i could not be more pleased.

I shop here regularly and as an avid golfer living in the city it’s nice to have a store of this size that facilitates the more tangible aspects of shopping. However my two most recent experiences have not been positive. Both times I was approached by who I believe is the manager Steve. The gentleman came across extremely short and condescending. He accompanied that by giving me incorrect information on their TaylorMade promotion in which I was supposed to receive $50 towards new TaylorMade product after spending $790 on a SIM Driver. He explained to me these were not instant savings and had to be redeemed at another time. When I got home I realized I had received nothing in the form of a voucher or credit, I called in and was told by the same individual that I needed to use the $50 towards new product on the same day. I never would have left the store if I was told that originally. Usually it’s the manager that is supposed to educate associates on the floor, in this case, he couldn’t get it right himself. 2 thumbs up for Golf Town, 1 thumb down for Steve.

I've yet to use the practice bays but their regripping service was great. Got some of my clubs done right in front of me. Quite decent sales that happen often. Hopefully one day I can actually afford my first set of new clubs. One day.

If just like to say that I went to the heartland location waited 25 mins for someone to help made it noticed and was ignored I'm hesitant to ever go back. I've spent countless money at golftown over the years and just felt beyond disrespected. That being said the Queensway location totally different met nice professional gent by the name of Al who was more than helpful and even helped with my swing and all very patient and very professional. Overall good. Would have been better if the salesman was more knowledgable or at leas more aware what my specific needs were and made more suggestions to meet them and give me the best possible advice to be as economic as possible. Everyone needs to feel he's getting bargain though i AM hsppy with the deal i did get. But that was mostly because my shopping friend was looking out for me and pointed out some good deals

As a group of female golfers, we have had many poor experiences at this particular Golf Town location. One major disappointment has been trying to purchase a new set of golf clubs. One of our female golfers was told by staff that they were too busy to help them. There were 3 other people in the store that day.

Disc golf town is located in an accessible area along the Queensway.the area itself is a bit run down but there's ample parking in the inside of the store is like any other golf Town.
