This is the best place to find everything you need for your golf game. Great professional advice and every brand you could imagine.

Too the guys that went out of there way last night to locate a club in the store. Great job and thank you

Usually enjoy my visit, but today was a bit off. Because of theft, they have all the irons locked until the associate unclips them. Wanted 10 minutes, didn't see anybody, so I left. I guess I'll buy online.

All new model clubs are locked to their respective racks. Which means in order to see the club and do the ol “waggle” test in address position…you will need to ask a store employee each time to unlock each individual club. Many player models such as TSR 2+ fairway, stealth 2 rescue or taylormade UDI’s aren’t in stock anyways. Only carrying about 1/4 of the new Scotty Cameron line. Only reason many of us go to the store is to see new model clubs in person, followed by purchasing balls/accessories. The employees aren’t the issue at all, just the store inventory/presentation.

Online golf shops beat this place every time. Prices are always the highest and selection is not great.

Really helpful and knowledge staff. Dan took his time and helped me a lot. Always a pleasure visiting the store.

Emma was great! She not only went above and beyond to find me my item, but did it all with the brightest smile on her face!

Management does a good job with their staff here, especially with the check out staff who are always friendly and willing to go above and beyond.

The pro shop staff know their stuff and did an excellent job regripping my clubs, although one older gentlemen seemed like was in a grump, the younger guy helped me out finding the right grips and putting my order through.

I would have liked to hit a few balls with the new Ping driver but no one was around to help at that moment so I hit some putts, missed them as usual and left.

Good job, will always come back to this GT

I had a fitting with Mathew about 5 weeks ago.
Great service and very patient.
His one line I liked hearing.
"200 yards with a 7 iron. "
I ended up getting a set or Callaway rogue st pro irons.
Can't wait for the season to start.

The Mavis and Britannia store was great! Ester went out of her way to find the jacket and vest in my size shown on sale advertised on their website.

Frequently visit this location, service is always top notch! Came in to drop off wedges to get regripped quickly before work. Shoutouts to Jan who was busy at the pro shop but while taking a phone call also made sure to ask if I had been helped or not. Also to Justin who regripped my wedges super quick on the spot and did an awesome job!

A freaking beautiful store. Staff are so highly knowledgeable too! They'll point you in the right direction for exactly what you need and give you a sweet rundown on your game.

Employee Chris was super helpful. Took the time to explain the difference in the package sets and individual clubs. Also assisted me with identifying which club suited my swing best. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks again.

I can understand the delays in ordering golf clubs, but the fact that I have been calling for three days straight, during business hours, and no one picks up the phone, speaks volumes about the lack of customer service.
05 February 2022 3:37
Some of, if not the best service ive had at a golf town. Was not sure what kind of putter I was looking for and the expert at golf town was patient and very knowledgeable in their craft. Learned alot and am super confident with my purchase. Definently one of the best!

Ordered one item online but was sent a wrong one. Returned it to this store. Edwin helped me out. The right one was sent to my house quickly. 5 stars for Edwin and his store.

Wow! What amazing service i received at this golf town i don't usually write reviews but when i receive service like that i just have to. Edwin. S was one of the most down to earth and helpful assistant mangers i've met anywhere.he was helping me pick out just what i was looking for.always good to see there are still down to earth helpful people in the golf community and i think other managers should take a page out of edwin's book on customer service!

Heartland GolfTown is the worst place if you need any services. The guy put my new ribbed grips on upside down till I mentioned to him that they are ribbed grips. I had been shopping there since they opened and took lesson there with Gary. Then the manager transferred to Oakville store and later closed. Now I shop for what I need and then drive to Dundas/403 store and buy it there. A lot friendly staffs and better service there.

We all know managers are hired because part of their job is to communicate and connect with customers, though at Golf town heartland the manager (I did not get to catch her name) she had short blond hair, she appeared old probably in her 50s, was rude, disrespectful and absolutely not a people person. She needs to work on communication skills, in fact everything in general as she can't do her job correctly. On the bright side I believe the store manager was incredibly good at his job was able to help me and get what I needed, that is an example of a manager that knows HOW to do his job. Also there was a brown girl in the front who was super friendly, informative, helped me and made my experience at golf town much better.

Staff is a little older so they're not too interested in helping you improve your game. Find a younger associate and you'll get better advice. Otherwise decent size store.

The sales person was very helpful. He helped us find the right match and size for running shoes and made suggestions based on our intended use.

I really just want to call out the team here at Golf Town Heartland. The guys and girls here are the best. A couple weeks back I went in during a very busy Saturday morning and Gary and Dan were extremely helpful. They carved out tons of time to help me find a club to close my short game, Dan especially went into great lengths to explain the benefits of forged clubs vs other materials and just went the extra mile to help me, someone who only picked up the game last year, find options that give me confidence in my game.
A few days later I came in and got to talking with Kyle. I was telling him that after the great success I had with my 60, I want to get a matching 56 to effectively replace my SW and I wanted to find an alternative option for my PW. Now. I'm a lefty in golf. It's a little harder for us to find what we want/need. But Kyle listened to my reasoning why (my PW has a weird loft 43.5 degrees and it's rather hard to hit) so he showed me a gorgeous, used, forged 48 from Cleveland and it was only 30 bucks. This was ideal since I was expecting to pay a similar price to the Wilson Forged Wedges I already bought/was looking at. From there we both noticed that they had a used Taylormade Spider X putter in that copper finish. I'm not kidding when I say, that was a putter I did A TON of homework on. The fact that it was left handed just sealed the deal. I knew a putter is going to be my most used club so I don't mind investing more into that club. But finding a Spider X, used, in the condition that it was, I had to get it before someone else did. This club was essentially 60% off a new retail version because this was previously owned. Also I sniped a gorgeous headcover for it on Amazon so everything worked out great there. Again. Kyle reassured that if this is something I'm serious in, this is too good to pass up. He assured me that I'm getting clubs of great quality that I can play and grow with over the years to come. So thanks for that Kyle!
Lastly, I came in again this past Saturday when I realized there was a massive sale on the Taylormade M6 line of drivers. Now. I wasn't expecting to be shopping so much for new clubs/upgrading my basic clubs I had. I was online just browsing and saw the sale but then saw it wasn't available pretty much anywhere. I go into this Golf Town, again on a busy Saturday, and I see maybe 3 or 4 left handed M6 drivers still available. While I wanted to grab one then and there, Devo (or is it Divo?) noticed me and helped me out. He listened to how I swing, where on the face I hit the ball, what distance I'm getting since I've been going to a range that measures that when I'm not at course, and how much by ball curves left. After all that he strongly suggested a D-Type M6 with the 9 degree loft since I can adjust that to go higher and I can tweek it if necessary but the base settings seemed to be the way to go as per how I'm swinging. I asked him, since they had an F7 used for a great price, am I better off getting that or should I double down and get this? He took all the time in the world to break down the advantages of the M6. Naturally since it's a newer club with different tech. He said for a driver something with Twist Face can help. While some don't believe in it all that much, it is a technology that Taylormade is continuing to offer and now have it more clubs than just the driver. I told him I wanted to upgrade my Rescue/Hybrid while I was there. Asked if I should just get an M6 rescue but he broke down why an M4 rescue would still do the trick since in those difficult shots, twist face may not make that big of a difference. So he helped me save quite a bit of money there since the M4 hybrids were on clearance. So in the span of almost a month, I've effectively replaced/upgraded all my clubs except for my irons. But I replaced those clubs to pretty good results. Yeah I'm still duffing shots and topping shots here and there. But the confidence I have now when I line up with my ball is ridiculous. It really does feel like I can let the club do the work. Thank you, team!

This is a horrible Golf Town, every time I need my clubs regripped the answer is always “ it will take days” so I go to a further golf town and they do it right away.
If they don’t want business, they won’t get mine

Nice place and good stock. Customer service is weak. Pricing is like they have a monopoly, which they do in the GTA.
12 August 2020 15:32
Disappointed.

I'll start by saying that I'm giving 3 stars because I still think the staff are nice people and the store is well-kept. Would've been a 1 star otherwise.

I was here 3 days ago, shopping for a new driver and possibly a wedge set. I had my eyes on the Cobra F9 as I've heard many great things about it. When I came into the store, I was helped within 5 minutes by a kind young employee (probably similar in age to me - 28 yrs), who helped me around which clubs I need based off what's in my bag and my handicap.

This is the first time I've seriously been back into buying vs testing in the 10 years of me owning my prior set, so I wanted something really good.

I was told that from what I wanted, I might as well consider the Full Set which includes the F9 Driver and combo set of 3W, 4H and 5-PW irons. I took the night to think it over and decided it was a great deal. I came back yesterday to purchase the set. The original guy who helped wasn't in, so another young employee helped instead. Just double checked it was the right price, shaft and flex and I was good to go.

Then I went to the range and found out after trying them that the Driver and 3W didn't have the CNC milled faces as advertised (one of the biggest features of the club). They also didn't have the cobra connect grips, but I don't mind that.

Today I went back to determine why I didn't get what I was expecting (remember that I went in initially to buy the F9 standalone driver* - I wanted that one for a reason.). Turns out - which makes logical sense - that manufacturers typically substitute some parts of the clubs to make the overall set cheaper. It's a $1349.99 set which given the current price of the individual clubs, isn't much cheaper. The employee wasn't aware of the difference by the way and afterwards dismissed it as a gimmick. *The pictures for the Set listing on the site need to be changed by the way, because they show the milled face. So I was upset but it got worse.

I went in to also buy some wedges to add to my set. After talking to the original employee from day 1, I was advised to buy a 2 for 1 wedge set. The price was so good that instead of buying the one wedge I came for, I considered 2 out-of-brand wedges.

After waiting 15 minutes to get to cash, I was told my total was double because the price was different from what I was told (in Golf Town's defence, the sign pricing was correct, I just trusted the employee's word too much - the lawyer in me should've known better I guess).

Fed up with my experience overall and visibly annoyed, I was on my way out the store until the manager cashing me out stopped to see if something could be done. A $20 reduction wasn't enough to justify the inconvenience nor was it enough incentive to have me buy the extra club when I came in for just one. I was REALLY close to returning my club set.

This is a long review but I wrote it for a reason. The store needs to know that while their kindness and solid management of products in the store is appreciated, they can't afford to waste people's time nor convince/reason people into buying outside of what they came for UNLESS they can actually make it work for the customer.

Nobody should be fired but please step your game up. These are customers that spend lots of money - on golf gear, not necessities -, you want to retain them, not piss them off.

I'll try another Golf Town location in future when I'm making a big purchase.

*Very kind of the manager to try to stop me from leaving the store angry. I appreciated that, even though the end result did nothing.
*I also did tons of research so that can't be to blame. Try finding anything online with pictures that clearly shows no CNC milled on the driver. The fact that it's a challenge is an issue itself.

Service post Covid my experience was amazing or I just never met Dan (think he’s the store manager) saved me hundreds and found me not only the right clubs but spent time to find my needs. Saved me as well from many impulsive purchases that I found out would had just confused and prolonged my golf learning curve. Thank you golf Country for such a great deal and terrific staff!

Went there earlier today to try out the new SIM and Maverick drivers. Matt helped me with the same. What an amazing guy.great customer service and some solid swing tips.added 30 yards to my drive right there.from 245 to around 275 yards with an effortless tweak to my current swing. Thanks Matt!

This is my favorite Golftown bar none. Staff has always looked out for my best interest since opening. Knowledgeable, trustworthy and caring has been my experience every time, hence why I keep coming back.

I’ve bought many clubs at golf town and have had them regripped before. Today I had my putter regripped and it cost 31$ which Felt really expensive. Disappointed and shocked at the fee.

I just wrote a review on The Queensway location just to mention Heartland in it. The staff do not care about you and least bit and I can tell her wasn't manager there because when I was there in the summer looking for shoes and a bag he was more than helpful and was very patient with me I tried on at least 12 different pairs of golf shoes until he got me to where the echoes which I didn't want to pay for. I was wrong cuz they are the best shoes I've ever worn but needless to say I was at the Heartland location yesterday standing by the golf clubs looking around for someone to help waiting for someone to help me. Instead of talking to co-workers at the front or two employees talking to one customer staring at me while they're staring at the other customer laughing joking talking Ford least 10 minutes. I just wanted to buy a set of golf clubs because I usually go to the Heartland location but the last two times that I've went I've had nothing so I just walked out of the store.the only reason why I give this two stars is because of the one manager there and I can't remember his name but he's always been kind of professional to me that's the only reason why I might give the store another chance.not that it matters but I am taking my business to the Queensway location to buy my set of golf clubs and accessories

2-stars because the selection at Golf Town in general is great. But I can't even say the customer service here was horrible, because I, the customer, didn't receive an ounce of service. Not even a "Hi", head nod, or awkward eye contact. I browsed the whole store and wasn't acknowledged by one of the (at least) 5 different staff members, including the unnocupied cashier I walked past to exit the store. I went into the store interested in several items, including having a club reshaft. I like to research and be informed before making purchases, which includes speaking to someone knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make an informed purchase. Maybe I don't fit the typical golfer profile. Regardless, it was an uncomfortable experience to walk through such a large, well staffed store, itching to make a purchase, but not offered help.

Look, I hate to make this my focus, but the washroom here is WAY BETTER than at that gym next door. Believe me. Okay, and I do buy stuff when I go here, partly out of gratitude for their clean facility, and also because they really have some great products in this store!

I went to this store at 4: 30PM on Saturday June 30th 2018 as I needed to by a putter. I had just returned from a golf trip only to take the clubs out of my travel bag and find the putter head snapped off. I ran up to this location because I have to golf in the morning. I was going to try out a couple different putters and get back to my Saturday. Simple stuff right? Not at this Golftown. First off, the store was a ghost town. I could see 5-6 employees from where I stood but not a single person came over to help. A couple of putters I wanted were on the top shelf. There was and old fella practicing his putting on the green and he was using the only two golf balls that this store had out for customers so I was left standing there with a couple of putters that I couldn’t try. I waited, I looked through every option but the old fella was inside from the heat and going no where so I decided to walk around the store with the hopes of finding someone to help. Instead what I found was the employees hanging out in groups talking to each other. One associate was practicing his back swing near the putting green and a group of three ladies were mingling at the cash chatting away and laughing. My wife and walked back to the putting green right by the back swing practice associate and after five minutes he put his club back and walked over to the old fella and asked him if he needed anything. He did not. Unbelievably he turn and went back to grab another golf club and getting back to practice. This was an older gentlemen, not a teenager. Someone who should know better. Having witnessed this I felt as though they were purposely trying not help, they did not want to work or help or make a sale. They just wanted to collect a pay check with as little effort possible. Quite frankly, this is the worst retail experience I have ever had in my life. On the good news front, I check the pricing for the putter I wanted on Amazon and it’s 15% cheaper than the store. I don’t know who manages the store but I am quite sure that this location or all of Golftown will be out of business soon and quite frankly they deserve it.
