Gong Cha Scarborough

I've been coming here to this place for a while now so I've gotten a general gist of what it's like. Overall, it's not a bad place; if you're looking to grab a quick milk tea or something to eat then it's quite serviceable. The croffles in particular are quite delicious.
Where I deduct points are the bubble waffles, which taste abhorrent. Very dry, lacking any flavor or moisture in the bread, I found myself unable to eat anymore lest I upset my stomach. Considering the long weight time for it, to say it's a dissapointment is an understatement.
Nonetheless, the cafe is not bad, but you will find the quality and taste is not consistent with all the items. If you stick to the basics, then there shouldn't be too much of a problem

Came late night and was quiet. Ordered 4 drinks and they all were perfect. I love they have the taro coconut smoothie. It’s so good every time! Have also ubereats from here before and somehow, it’s still frozen and so yummy.

Very rude service. Employee put salt instead of sugar in the foam. Was a very unpleasant experience 0/10 service! Very very very terrible.

I am taking this opportunity to personally thank Nancey and Ona who worked at the Gong Cha Scarborough Centre. These two women always shown a welcoming smile and kindness on the job. I had visited this place on more than one occasion and their service was of a highly and exceptionally standard. Despite living in challenging and exceptionally difficult times we are living in these two women choose to put their job as paramount in their service by displaying professionalism and kindness to their customers. Kudos to these two women.

You should check carefully before take out. They always serve without topping. It happens to me many times, especially if you order for a group. Never come again!

Worst service forever!
I ordered a cup of milk tea and replaced the pearls with coffee jelly. The waiter asked me sarcastically what coffee jelly was. We didn’t have any. He said we only had coffee jelly! So you know what it means, but you insist on attacking me? ? It took me a long time to write ink. During the whole process, I felt that she was my guest and her attitude was very bad! I asked for a large cup, but in the end I was only given a medium cup. I was charged the price of a large cup, and there were only a few coconuts in a cup of milk tea, which was only a handful! I came home very tired from work and was really too lazy to go back and reason! ! Can you manage your service attitude? This is not the first time! !

Free birthday drink is not avail at all outlet. Will appreciate if they indicate clearly on criteria.

When asked the staff hv no idea which stores participates. Waste of time, disappointment on birthdays

Worst bubble tea ever. Service was very bad. Rude kinda behaviour by the girl in the cash. From other stores they provide less ice option. When i asked her she told she cant give it in a rude way. Not buying from here again.

I always buy food from Gongcha, and I like the taste of Gongcha very much. The quality is also good. It really allows me to eat very authentic food. It would be better if the waiter's service could be improved. I bought a matcha egg waffle and a cup of coffee at Gongcha. Because I often buy egg waffles, I knew that I had to wait for a while. I didn’t expect that after the orderer and the egg waffle maker told me that I wanted a matcha egg waffle, the egg waffle maker said in Chinese: “She must be sick! ” As a customer, I felt very uncomfortable after hearing this. I even doubted whether I should order the egg waffle. This also made me suffer and even feel uncomfortable every second I waited for the egg waffle, as if I had made a big mistake. 's fault. What made me feel ashamed was that the employee who made the egg waffles was still complaining to another employee in Chinese that he never wanted to hear the word "egg waffles" again. The volume of their words was just right for me to hear them. I understand and understand everyone. There are times when we are tortured by the huge workload and become impatient, but I don’t want customers to bear their emotions.

Decided to visit this location as I was craving bubble tea late weekday evening and this store was open. I also have heard good things about Gong Cha drinks. I walked into the store and it was cute, with seating for maybe 2-3 people. It smelled it really good, I'm guessing due to the croffles. However that's where the positives ended. The drink I came in to try was unavailable, but I thought that's ok, maybe I'll try something else. I ended up ordering a taro milk tea and a mango drink upon their suggestion. I was wanting a mango drink without actual tea but with milk in it, however they either failed to understand me or just neglected to inform me that the mango drink was just syrup and water, no milk. By the time I realized this, they said they couldn't do anything about changing it because the drink was made. I was disappointed already but I figured what the heck, maybe not what I want but surely it will still taste good. Got to the car with the drinks and my brother and I tried both drinks. We both hated both. Super watered down and flavourless. The pearls were also bland, compared to where I usually get bubble tea (Coco). I don't know if the quality was lacking because it was less than an hour until closing time or that's just how their drinks are. Maybe I didn't try the right drinks that other people love. But I don't think I'll be coming back, $15 down the drain really hurts in this economy and I didn't love the customer service either.

The waffle is so soft and sweet, very delicious and it even taste good cold. The bubble tea is amazing 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

A very nice Gong Cha. The store smells fantastic and it was quiet clean. The staff was quick and helpful describing which drinks could be without sugar. I especially appreciate that they are open late.
