Such a cute place! Amazing coffee and the donuts are to die for. I regularly buy their whole bean coffee to make at home, and every one has been fantastic, all so complex with their own unique characteristics. Thank you for enabling my coffee addiction!

I love you a latte.

Best donuts locally. So fresh, light and airy. Also my favourite espresso drinks (I haven't tried their coffee personally). Definitely don't skip them when visiting Thornbury.

If you are lucky enough to score a doughnut, and pair it with an incredible cup of coffee, you will not be let down.

Second time here, good as usual, my top two coffee shop in Ontario, even the drip coffee (Ethiopian yirgacheffe) taste so good, highly recommend if you know your coffee and in the area

First prize for elegance and design - who knew pink could be so perfect. The coffee is tasty enough - and there are donuts.

The iced latte here is great, handcrafted with spotlessly clean equipment. It took a double take to find the shared entrance with the adjoining book store. They also sell a few sizes of Aeropress coffee maker and other coffee accessories at a great price.

I’m going to be the one detractor from all of the amazing reviews. Good Grief does an exceptional job roasting coffee. No question. The baked goods are quite good as well. I don’t think, however, that their espresso is exceptional. It’s definitely not worth 5 stars. I’m not sure why, especially when they do an excellent job of roasting coffee - there could be a myriad of reasons why…but their espresso is definitely not 5 stars. At most, 3 stars and I’m being generous. To be honest, there are very few coffee purveyors who produce consistently good espresso, even in TO. It is both an art and a science.)

The early bird gets the danish! While I can always count on Good Grief Coffee Roasters to serve up the perfect cortado every time, the in-house danishes, which are to die for, with their real fruit toppings, just don’t seem to hang around long enough for those of us who sleep-in!

However, late-risers do have a consultation prize.the mysterious little jam and peanut butter cookies! With just a hint of peanut butter and not too sweet, they are bite-sized, yummy, and should really be sold by the half-dozen, not singly!

BEST coffee in town. Miles ahead of everyone else. Only issue is hours- watch out for that, their hours are limited (currently close at 3pm).

Consistently the best coffee in Thornbury. They roast their own beans, and their espresso-based drinks are on point. Best latte I've had in Thornbury. Donuts and baked goods are nothing to sneeze at either. These guys can't stop winning.

New favourite coffee place! Discovered this place by accident when the other coffee shop across the street turned out to be closed still. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and seemed to genuinely be interested in the customer. Ordered a Vanilla latte and mocachino, and both were insanely smooth & delicious. My friend ordered a matcha tea latte and was also pleased with it. Drinks are carefully and artfully prepared. Bakery items are fresh and tasty - - the danish, croissants, and donuts, I highly recommend to complete your drink experience. Although the sit-in option is closed, the space still gives off unique, chill, & mod vibes.

I was pleased with their variety of non-dairy beverages (oat, almond, macadamia).

I have been back here 3 times already his week and plan to go once more before the end of our trip! Wish we lived closer, otherwise I'd be here every day!

The best coffee in the area. Amazing service. The aesthetic is funky, fun and still remains calm. They always have a few home made vegan treats along with the standard. They are doing an incredible job dealing with the realities of COVID; safety first while continuing to provide an inviting vibe.

Amazing coffee! The staff know their stuff and can explain the difference between a Corrado and a Flat White. Nice vibe and reasonably priced.

Every time I’m up in Collingwood I make a point to go visit Good Grief! The coffee, the beans, and the treats are all exceptional! They also have great coffee alternatives including a turmeric and a beet latte! The store is super cute inside, can anyone say #instagramable? Donut take my word for it, go check out Good Grief and try a donut

It's a hip and beautiful spot, with excellent service and delicious goods.
I've been waiting for a great coffee shop to open up since I moved here 6 years ago from Toronto and good grief has filled that void. It rivals any of my favourite spots in Toronto and adds that great community oriented vibe. Big fan! Highly recommend. Can't say enough great things about it.
Don't forget to take a bag of beans home with you when you leave. You'll thank me later.

Fab coffee - Cortado was outstanding! Coffee machines were really interesting. They roast their own beans here - very cool.

Great vibe - clean, friendly, casual and lovely spot. Wish the garage door was up so we could enjoy the breeze.
