Good Taste Casserole Rice

I have never encountered a restaurant with such a poor service attitude. The hygiene is also very poor. The tables are greasy and soup cups are overflowing everywhere. Children have to eat claypot rice before entering this store. The taste is average, the sausage has a strong alcohol smell, and the dark sausage smells of mutton. The waiter's attitude was extremely bad, and he acted like throwing things on the table. When I checked out, I was told that I couldn't pay by credit card. I didn't bring any cash, so I was asked to get cash. The attitude was like I was committing a crime for not bringing cash. It was disgusting. I left my child in the store and searched for a long time in the cold wind. After asking for directions, I found the bank she mentioned and got the money. Never come to this disgusting store again.

This is a small local family business!
They are around at least 10 years if not longer.
Finally come here on weeknights and what a surprise.
They are in business for these many years for a very good reason.
Good food and good service.

Rice is cooked directly on a small clay pot and you can select different combinations of meats on it.
Clay pot rice came with a special sauce (Soy sauce based) and it is really good.
It also comes with soups and vegetables on the side.
Parking is not bad on weekdays.

Food is decent and price point is not bad, don’t really get a lot of meat but I guess you can’t expect too much at this price. Don’t expect to get crispy rice if you’re buying takeout. The rice rolls were good, but I prefer the shrimp one over the one with the various fillings like carrots and peanuts. The server tried charging me 25 cents to get an extra container of soy sauce, I know it’s just 25 cents but I’ve never been to any restaurant that charges for extra soy sauce, they only give you one tiny container which is not enough to cover all the rice in the bowl, and especially since In store each table gets their own bottle of unlimited soy sauce to use. Idk it’s not a big issue but kinda rubbed me the wrong way…

I had the eel and mince pork claypot rice. Well cooked rice, fluffy and a well developed crispy bottom. The eel and the minced pork were tender and well seasoned, good compliments to the claypot rice. The multitude of condiments to customize your claypot rice with at the table was welcome and appreciated, although I think not necessarily necessary. The price was also good for the amount of food you get. Only complaint that I don’t blame them for based on their usual clientele is that they defaulted to communication in Cantonese initially, and if I didn’t understand Cantonese myself then me and my group would’ve likely gone somewhere else. Although, I will say that 4 of the members of my group were Chinese so that may be the reason, and they did speak enough English that I think you could definitely order in English if you wanted to.

Excellent rice rolls (腸粉）and casserole rice. The bottom layer is perfect and crispy. The soy sauce isn't too salty and condiments are on point. This is my go-to place for those 2 items they sell. Excellent.

This restaurant specializes in clay pot rice. I.e. The ingredients and rice are cooked together in a clay pot. Each rice pot comes with a soup and a small plate of veggies. There wasn't much taste in their soup. The veggies were cooked well. The clay pot rice was delicious. The rice at the bottom was a bit crispy which is a good thing. Their prices were very reasonable. The service was just alright. Their decor was dated.

Our absolute favorite restaurant in Markham Canada! The clay pot rice is an absolute MUST! You get this diluted soup and service which both isn't very good but the rest is amazing that still deserve my 4 shiny stars!

I don't even have to mention much of the items but we got anchovies with spare ribs clay pot rice, their 4 treasure which is eel, Chinese sausage lop churn, Chinese meat lop yuk and BBQ pork and very flavorful and the last one is smooth chicken with eel. The best part is ALWAYS the crispy rice that sticks to the pot. DO NOT THROW THAT OUT! Put your arm muscles to work and scrap every bit of that deliciousness out of the pot. Just look at my last picture. I would eat the pot if my stomach can possibly digest it!

Don't forget their sweet soy sauce. Pour a generous amount, mix mix mix and your tummy will thank you!

Great hidden gem in this super busy plaza (Peachtree @ Kennedy/7). Clay pot rice was fresh - all bowls served with soup and veggies. Rice noodle rolls.were.really well made - super thin noodles that soak up the sauce!

Best authentic clay pot rice in the neighborhood. Lots of 飯焦. Chinese sausages and eel are flavourful. Prices are $12 including a very hot clear soup and choy. You won't find another place with this type of quality and price.

Savoury, simple, and satisfying:) An additional note: the dishes are very reasonably priced too. They have a relatively large selection of clay pot rice toppings and rice rolls to choose from, we ordered the Four Treasures (three varieties of cured meats, and a small piece of BBQ eel) and salty fish and pork rice pots, along with an order of rice rolls with a vegetable and peanut filling (not pictured). Everything was excellent. The rice rolls were probably the best I've ever had— delicate and silky, and the fillings were balanced in taste and texture.

Note that the atmosphere and service are typical of what you'd expect from a small Chinese establishment— quick, impersonal, and curt. I didn't mind it, it reminded me of some of the asian dining experiences of my childhood hahaha.

I really like this place, very authentic. It’s the most delicious claypot rice. About 12.99 a serving. One dish of rapeseed, one portion of stewed soup, and one portion of claypot rice. The portions are generous. Real talent and very affordable. The beautiful lady with long hair and glasses provides good service. The rice is very fragrant. Super recommended.

First and foremost, you don't come here for the service. Those who are familiar with Asian diners will know exactly what to expect.

Food wise, this is THE go to place for Chinese clay pot rice. Expect a wait, as each bowl is made to order, and this style of food takes time to make.

It was my first time to visit this place for clay pot rice. The place was dated and small but organized. They have many different kinds of clay pot rice combinations on their menu. Each clay pot rice comes as a combo with a Chinese soup and a plate of veggie. The price is very reasonable for a combo with three items. They prepare and cook each clay pot by order. It took about 20mins for our clay pot rice to be served. It tasted very fresh and hot. We enjoyed it a lot.

Good food, very friendly service who will bring baby chair and greet him. Wait for fresh rice longer than other cuisine but totally worth the wait for fresh hot potted rice. Rice roll was much better than I expected too. Highly recommended.

Home comfort food. I ordered an old favorite, dry salted fish and minced pork, while my wife ordered Chinese cured sausage w/ shrimp. Each order came with soup - Pear herbal tonic. This was out first time and it was delicious!
