Good pub, in a very interesting location. Pretty pricey for a pub, but it's too be expected given the building it's in

The basement has a cool, but pricey, bar. The neat thing is that all the neighborhoods dogs stop on their walks at the bar window and the bartenders feed them treats. We loved it!

Fun Flatiron-style building. Beautiful square in front, with a fountain decorated by dogs.

Worth a visit if you're nearby.

Completed in 1892, the red-brick edifice was an early example of a prominent flatiron building.

It’s a beautiful flat building that is the focal point of one of Toronto’s most iconic vistas: looking west down Front Street towards the building's prominent rounded corner, framed on the sides by the heritage commercial blocks along Front Street, and with the skyscrapers of the Financial District towering in the background.

The Gooderham Building is a historic landmark located in Toronto, Canada. It was built in 1892 and is known for its unique flatiron shape, which makes it an iconic feature of the city's skyline.
One of the most notable aspects of the building is its architecture. The Gooderham Building was designed by David Roberts Jr, who was inspired by the Flatiron Building in New York City. It features red-brick cladding, intricate stone detailing, and a series of rounded arches that give it a distinct Romanesque style.
The interior of the building is just as impressive as the exterior. The lobby is adorned with beautiful marble floors, ornate plasterwork, and a stunning stained glass skylight that filters natural light into the space. The building's elegant details and historical charm create a unique and inviting atmosphere.
The Gooderham Building is a prime example of adaptive reuse, as it has been repurposed several times throughout its history. Originally, it served as a head office for the Gooderham and Worts Distillery, one of the largest distilleries in Canada. Today, it houses a variety of office spaces and retail stores, making it a vibrant hub of activity in the heart of Toronto.
Overall, the Gooderham Building is a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Toronto. Its stunning architecture and rich history make it a true gem of the city.

If you’re going to St Lawrence’s market, you will walk past it.
It’s a really nice looking building and very different from the other ones next to it.

Building itself looks great in photos but when you try to go there there’s always some constructions going on around it. I know its not their fault but still.

I don't think you need a ticket for this place. It is kind of a landmark in Toronto. You won't miss it if you walk around downtown and come to visit the sugar beach.

Truly iconic building in Old Toronto. Standing proud in front of downtown giants. Always amazing to see. Particularly in cloudy days. Grab a sandwich at St Lawrence Market an walk towards it on the south side of Front St. A must see!

It's unique and it's only 10 minutes walking from the Royal York hotel or 2 minutes from St. Lawrence market. It's also close to a park on the corner and there's some souvenir shops you can try check out.

A building which falls out of time, but in good weather is a great photo motif. Nearby is the St. Lawrence Market and not far away is the Distillery District. It is definitely worth visiting this part of the city.

It is quite amazing that this building is still in good standing condition thinking how old this building is! Gooderham Building is first opened back in 1899. Hopefully, the building will last another a few hundred more years to come and will be remembered by many people who come and see Gooderham Building!

Muy interesante para fotografiar, lo mismo que el parque que tiene detrás, con su "fuente de los perros". / Très intéressant à photografier, comme le parc derrière, avec sa "fontaine des chiens".

Looks unreal! For sure visit if possible, even just to cross the road.
In the middle of the crossroad there is a plate with details on the building if you want to know.
There is enough place to safely stand and not be in the way of foot traffic.
