Fantastic dining experience at Goodfellas Wood Oven Pizza! Authentic Italian flavors with the Napoletana and Romana pizzas being absolute standouts. Special thanks to Sandra for her exceptional service - friendly, knowledgeable, and made our visit truly memorable. Highly recommend for a genuine taste of Italy in Mississauga
We had a great dinner as always at Goodfellas. Despite the delay in service due to technical issues our server Alexandra was incredibly attentive, courteous, apologetic and professional. We will always return and refer to goodfellas streetsville.
We went there for dinner with reservations, it took 3 servers to finally get our table ready. They were extremely under staffed and over booked, I had seen a lot of frustrated customers as well as workers running around like crazy.what blew my mind the most was the cost of 4 POP CANS, yes pop CANS (and they were WARM), I figured refills were free as well as figured it was on tap like 90% of big restaurants.it cost us 16$ for 4 pop cans! I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. The food was ok, pizza was a bit thin and soggy and had a burnt taste to it. The Bruschetta had so much Garlic it burnt everyone's mouth like Spicy food. Our server was sweet and we actually felt bad for her as you can see she was very overwhelmed with how busy it was. We definitely will not be coming back, the prices are insane for what you actually get.
The best authentic Italian food, I tried their new lasagna bolognese and it was so delicious. Server Zain was great! She was prompt with her time and gave great recommendations. It was my sisters friends cousins brothers birthday and Zain brought out a bombalini to celebrate. I must say the singing was delightful! GRAZIE
Used to be my favourite pizza place but yesterday this is what they expected me to eat. And when I called that restaurant, the manager not only tried to mansplain me how they make the pizza but indicated that he would eat it. It shows the caliber and criteria for customer satisfaction and service. A simple am sorry and we will refund your money or make you a new pizza is all we were looking for. Zero ownership and accountability…. Very disappointing…
Customer service was fantastic and food was delicious. My only negative is that I felt the food was overpriced in comparison to other comparable restaurants. Ordered a drink, appetizer, main and dessert. Otherwise a great place for dinner!
Decided to take advantage of the restaurant being open for lunch on a Thursday. However I had to go and look for the host and ask for the lunchtime menu. Food was great. Pet peeve……. The server brought the bill and interrupted our conversation for payment, even though I still had almost a full glass of wine in front of me. I have never been a server, so not sure if there’s a reason for this, but I would be inclined to leave a larger tip if the server had waited until our lunch was complete.
I’ve always heard amazing things about this place and figured that I would try it out with my friends. I ordered a Margherita pizza, and so did my friends. However, mine was extremely burnt to the point that half of the crust was charred black.
I don’t know how or why the chef let it out of the kitchen. Perhaps they were careless, or maybe that’s the quality of this restaurant. I did not want to keep my friends waiting by ordering a replacement. The burnt taste ruined my appetite and I could not eat most of the crust as it was severely unappetizing.
I was told that this was the best pizza in Mississauga, but my experience tonight definitely counteracted this. I paid almost thirty dollars for one of the biggest let downs I’ve had at a restaurant in the area.
Maybe this place used to be good once upon a time, but from what I was served tonight, I can tell that the kitchen does not hold themselves up to their reputation. I was honestly disappointed.
Sadly another one off our list. I guess after COVID nothing is the same. Prices have skyrocketed is one thing but the food is just not the same. We went simple. Just ordered wood fired pizza I mean you can’t go wrong here right? I understand its supposed to be thin but literally it is paper thin. You can’t even cut it. It’s just wet and mushy you have to slowly slide it onto plate or it will just fall completely apart. The tomato sauce is just cold on top sauce. The crust is crispy as it should be. The Basil tasted fresh. The portion size is good.
