Good service and customer care. My white pants had a stain from other cloths in my closet and they manage to remove it within the timeline give. So satisfied.

I brought a historical garment that required special cleaning care. The level of service and attention to detail was outstanding. This is now the only dry cleaning service in Ottawa that I will use. Thank you.

I’ve been to the location twice and received excellent service both times. The first time I had a speedy and efficient cleaning of my suit. The second time, I was helped by the owner, Charles Goodfellow and received super accommodating help. He was so kind and gracious and was able to clean our wedding dress in a tight timeline, we would recommend him and his business to anyone!

They knew how precious this 34 year old stained and yellowed First communion dress meant to me and they delivered! How was it possible to have it restored like they did! Since both our Manotick cleaners have closed, everyone should be aware that Goodfellow is now the only alternative for all your needs, especially anything that requires special care.

This is a first rate outfit. Charles Goodfellow is one of the more impressive customer facing owners I have ever met and I have met thousands of them in my career.

I brought my wedding dress to Goodfellow Cleaners after our wedding in August. The bottom of the dress was very dirty from a slippery dance floor mixed with the wedding being on an outdoor property with dirt and gravel trails. This was my first experience here and from the moment I walked in, Charles was extremely professional and always treated me with such kindness. He speaks to you as if you are one of his good friends and every time I went in (as I also brought some suits a month later) he is always available and there to answer any questions. I got my wedding dress preserved and it looks amazing in the box. The nice window in the box shows every detail of the front of the dress and will keep it nice and clean for years to come. I highly recommend Charles and his team!

We've been customers of Charles for 25 or 30 years for a very simple reason - he gets the job done. Most recently his team removed a stain on a very expensive silk dress. Took a while but done perfectly. Highly recommend.

Took my Mooseknuckle white coat and Canada Goose Jacket in for cleaning, they came out brand new looking. They did a beautiful job. The customer service by all especially owner Charles was top notch. Highly recommend

I had such a good experience with Goodfellow, I highly recommend them for alterations and dry cleaning. I brought a bridesmaid dress in with year-old unknown stains, and I was assured they would do their best to clean it as quickly as possible as I needed it the next day. I received a call about an hour before I was supposed to pick it up asking if they could keep it overnight to clean it one more time in the morning, it sounded like he had been working hard on it but thought he could do better with more time. I picked it up the next morning and was amazed at how clean it was, I was sure that these stains would be too stubborn to get out, but it looked brand new. They are very affordable, friendly, professional, and seem to truly care about the services they provide to their customers. Will definitely be going back. Thank you Goodfellow Cleaners!

I cannot recommend goodfellows enough in Riverside South. From the excellent service from all the staff (especially when they remember your name!), to the speedy turn around, great seamstress who does it all, and most importantly the beautiful cleaning they did to my wedding dress. Goodfellow’s did me a huge favour today! I needed some shirts and pants dry cleaned at the last second for tonight. They were dropped off in the morning, and just picked up now. Definitely recommend this location going forward. Will be going again soon!

I recently went to this establishment as I was interested in dry cleaning my elderly father's RCMP uniforms that had been sitting in an old trunk for over 50 years. As there were quite a few items involved, I did have some concerns about the potential cost of the cleaning service. My concerns, however, were quickly alleviated as the fees were well below what I was expecting and the quality and care put towards the cleaning of the uniforms were unsurpassable! Even after the items were dry cleaned, Mr. Goodfellow took the time and effort to contact me to inquire as to whether I could leave the items with him a bit longer to provide an additional service to reduce the musty odour completely. This service was completely free of charge and so appreciated! I had tears in my eyes when I came to pick up my father's uniforms, and the assistance to bring them all out to my car was very touching. My dad was so pleased with the finished result, and we both had a good laugh that his uniforms were described as "vintage"! If I could rate this establishment higher than five stars, I would!

What a great experience.
My son’s fiancé has shown an interest in wearing my wedding gown and after 42 years hanging quietly in the back of the closet I took it out to have a look. It wasn’t looking to bad but there were a few stains.
42 years later what could the dry cleaners do? It looks amazing! It is a simple dress but they took a great deal of care and I think it will look amazing on my daughter in law.

I needed 2 suits cleaned on a short notice. Service received was outstanding, from initial call, drop off to pick up. Highly recommend.

New resident of Ottawa and I was very impressed with the service, care, and value from Goodfellow. I had looked for a well-reviewed cleaner to revive a number of suits and wool blanket. Not only did they do a fantastic job with the suits, but they restored a missing button and went over and above on the wool blanket. The blanket was a wedding present but we have a Siberian Husky so getting it fur free was no joke and they did a fantastic job. I now have a go-to dry cleaner in Ottawa and would strongly recommend their services.

I brought a white shirt that had not been dry cleaned for a year, that had blood spattering on its chest for a year. I came back two days later and the blood was out, and the shirt looked brand new. I didn't even realise that was possible. Cost - $5

I've used Goodfellas Cleaners several times over the last year. They have been honest, forthright, dependable and priced very reasonably. I highly recommend them.

Such a lovely experience today! The owner Charles, was very friendly and genuine. The pleasant encounter alone would be enough for me to want to go back again. Plus the service was also amazing and incredibly fast! My item was finished quicker than was even expected (especially for same day drop-off).

As well as taking extra precautions during this Covid-19 period, making sure everything was wiped down and sanitized.

I have used this business multiple times since moving to Riverside South in the spring of 2019. My most recent experience was a 5+/5 star service. I needed to get pants tailored on a very strict deadline as I had a commitment I needed to use them for and the business delivered.

I've also used the drop off service for the "The Drop" at this location. I'd highly recommend them as a brand you can trust!

Excellent and well beyond my expectations with two Canali suits!
I was looking for a dry cleaner in my area to clean two 7 month old Canali suits. I picked two higher rated cleaners to drop off a suit each to try them. Goodfellow was one of them. I arrived and was fortunate to be served by Charles Goodfellow. He took the time to explain to me the process and how they will clean and hand finish the suit to ensure it's fine Italian wool comes out perfect. Great knowledge, great instructions, and great tips to help in the longevity of my suit! Really raised my confidence level that I had found a great place!
A couple of days go by, both suits are ready, one at Premier and one at Goodfellow. I pick up the one at Premier first: it was absolutely unwearable!

I went to Goodfellow to pick up my 2nd Canali and I brought my damage suit with me. I inspected my first suit. The first suit was flawless and I knew that I would only let Charles try to fix my damaged suit. I presented the damaged suit to Charles, he looked as discouraged as I felt. He proceeded to explain to me all the mistakes that the other Dry cleaner had done that resulted in the over pressed look, all seams showed the imprint of the material behind it, all seams looked like racing stripes, scalloped pattern on both pant leg full length. Charles said that he could fix it but it will take a little time. He took it in, offered to do it free of charge even though he had nothing to do with poor state it was in! Today I pick up the damaged suit, and yes it looks fantastic. Charles, thank you and thank you to your crew. Don't be too hard on the guy working the desk, I didn't give him a choice when I picked up my suit. I paid the fair price for your excellent work since I could not let you pay for another's mistake, but I thank you for your generosity. I also dropped off another suit. Looks like I found my regular dry cleaners.

Most amazing customer service. Have been going there for several years. Staff knew me by name after the first few months. The owner is very friendly and super professional and, the Italian lady's service is exceptional!

Staff are friendly, the seamstress is amazing and we are always treated like family; thank you Charles for running a great business near home.
