Dinner at Goods and Provisions was a wonderful experience, the decor was warm and inviting, we were welcomed and the door and seated promptly, the service was impeccable and the food was delicious.

I had been here many years ago, and enjoyed it then. I am happy to say it has only gotten better over the years.

I cannot wait to come back

Honestly, came here a while back for drinks, that were great. But recently had a chance to come in for food, and wow, my mind was blown away. The gnocchi, and steak were amazing. Couldn't try the other items since they were sold out of pretty much everything.

Great friendly service, something that's long gone from Toronto establishments.

Will definitely be coming back here to try the rest of the food. Sat outside because it was nice out but it seems like a really cool vibe inside. The food was incredible. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it. Every bite was perfection. Tuna tostadas on special and the gnocchi blew my mind. If I lived closer, I would be a regular here!

Never a bad time here, and I've been back many times. Sometimes for food, sometimes just cocktails. Both are good!

The food is all prepared exceptionally well. They may not be the most generous servings for the price, but they are tasty af. I have never ordered anything that wasn't good. And that goes for cocktails too. Bartenders really know their stuff and the signature drinks are well developed as well.

I would say my only ongoing issue is the darkness. I don't mind a shadowy, moody cocktail bar, but when there's food involved, I do like to see it. And the menu written on the mirror is a pain to read. Always has been, lol. But we make do cos the quality of the food, drinks, and service is some of the best in Leslieville.

PS. Order the scallops. It's a smooth and beautiful plate of seafood.

Really fun atmosphere and killer food & drinks. It’s a small, tight space and slightly chaotic if you’re sitting at the bar but the woman who runs the place chatted with us throughout the evening and really made our night fun and memorable. The food was incredible, our cocktails were perfect and the wine we ordered was so good we got a bottle to go (which the owner was cool enough to mark down because she liked us.) Would gladly return.

This place is unmatched. Wish I could take it home with me to Victoria. Ambiance was 10/10 and the food was so tasty! The staff were lovely and helpful! Will definitely come back if I’m TO.

The staff was rude, the place was soo dark you could hardly read the menu, the food was bland and the portions were pathetically small but at no point did anyone at my table complain. When the waiter came to clean up the table he asked how the tomato bread was, the bread is just bland white bread soaked in cold tomato juice, I'm sure there was more to it but I certainly couldn't see if there was. When I said it was fine he responded with "well beggars can't be choosers" in a condescending tone and walked off.
I've never been openly insulted at a restaurant before and that's a hell of a attitude for someone who literals walks less than 10 metres to put food on peoples table.

Just felt like I got kicked out of this restaurant - Order a Martini, opened my lap top, and the Martini was ready to be poured only to find out from the bartender that "If the owner is in - no lap top is allowed on the bar! ". I am absolutely in awe that I was not told as I am booting up my computer and she is making the Martini and they can afford to lose a client when there was 1 table inside and 4 table outside with a total of 9 people in the restaurant!

I get the vibe thing - I think! Lol

Try the Penicillin cocktail

The food here is on point, everything from the burrata, to the scallop crudo and the pasta were incredible. Will definitely be making this a go to spot for dining with friends! Also love the service here, so friendly and welcoming.

The ambience of this place transports you to the olden days in Toronto or a cozy European bar. Although hard to read the menu (especially the one on the mirror), food is definitely great and well thought out. The place was busy and we sat at the "barrel tables", but there were still some tables available at the back. However I was told (who looked like a manager and was rather dismissive) there were 10 parties ahead of us when I asked to move to one of them - a couple remained empty throughout the evening, though. Menu items were running low but our server was great and tried her best to get our orders asap.
We shared a plates: the tomato and golden "beets" salad (yummy but there were no golden beets in it, maybe a typo on the menu or last minute substitution?). The tomato bread was delicious, one of the best I've had in Toronto. The fries were equally good and creamy in the inside, crispy on the outside - the mayo it comes with could do with a bit more acidity, other than that it was great. My companions also had the tartar, and an order of mini oysters, and said they liked both.
I'd definitely come back, and make sure I ask for a table right away as the barrel tables are anything but comfortable.

Sat at the bar, staff was fun, involved and took great care of us. Cocktails were all scrumptious, oysters shucked fresh, right in front of us.nice menu. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

I have rarely visited restaurants East of the Don Valley, but this restaurant did not disappointment. Goods and Provisions is a small quaint place with awesome food and drink. The no POS system fit in with the atmosphere, but they do take credit. Would definitely return to try more of the menu.
