I sent a text to Gordon Bay Marine inquiring about a part for my Mercury outboard gas tank. I received a response from Justin Schmidt within 15 minutes that he was looking into it and would get back to me. I received the second response shortly after stating that he found the part and would hold it for pick up. Not used to getting such pleasant and very quick customer service. Unbelievable experience and highly recommend them for any marine products.

Such a great buying experience. I was literally doing some work in the area and just wanted to check out the used boat lot and was so impressed by their prices and quality that ended up leaving with a boat. After purchasing they've stood behind their product and offered a ton of free service and sent me out the door with a free acid wash, safety equipment, new life jackets for the whole family, and top to bottom mechanical tune-up. Connor was my sales representative and I could not have been happier with the way he treated me and how this sale went. Not to mention the fantastic boat I got for an incredible price.

After calling every local marina in Ottawa for "in-tank fuel pump washers"; I called Gordon Bay and Justin in parts fixed me up immediately! He even mailed them to my house! What a beauty!

I had an issue with my Yamaha 25hp outboard engine and Gordon Bay did everything in their power to rectify the problem in a timely matter. I am extremely grateful for their superior service because I needed that motor to reach our island property.

Customer service in the shop/ parts department is ok. However recently there has been a few times where the front of house staff have been crusty and short, as if they just don’t have the time for any questions unless we are there to buy something. Parts woman just really didn’t seem to have very much knowledge or seem very interested. I believe some of their older staff members could use a little customer service refresher.

However, 5/5 customer service for the woman running the Top shop just up the hill, very friendly, helpful and approachable. Prices are fair and seem to be on par with going rates for boat top repairs etc.

Also, 4/5 for the sales staff over in boat sales, although we did not end up closing a deal with a boat on consignment, our water test and time interacting with the salesman was good. Friendly, knowledgeable, good communication on site and via text when he has information or we had questions.

Always friendly helpful and very professional. Gordon Bay marine takes care of me and my boat. I can always count on them to service the boat properly and they go out of their way to make things easy for me.

Totally awsome service from GBM. My boat was giving an alarm so I took it to the marina. A mechanic looked at the outboard motor within a 1/2 hour of my arrival. He fixed the issue right there and also showed me what to do if it happened again so I wouldn't be stranded. That was above and beyond expectations! The very next day I had an issue with my other boat and it couldn't be driven so I called Service at GBM. Within an hour the lake crew boat arrived at my island and replaced a part that was needed. They even had the part in stock on their repair boat! Thanks Gordon Bay for keeping me "out on the water"! You have always provided consistently outstanding service for the 50 years we've been dealing with you.

If there were an option for 6 stars, I would give it. GBM provides the best service of any business, in any category, hands down.

My first experience with Gordon Bay Marine was to have 2 snowmobiles repaired. They came to my cottage to pick them up, and a couple of days later, texted me to arrange to return them. They are running properly now and we are enjoying the snow.

We’ve been customers of Gordon Bay Marina for 15 years. There’s a lot of great things to say but one thing that stands out is service. Our Yamaha snowmobiles are fixed quickly and affordably. We have use the pick up and drop off service so that they’re ready for the weekend. Our Malibu ski boat has been well taken care of and fixed many times quickly and affordably. The entire service team is amazing.

We just purchased our first wakeboarding boat from Steve and our experience was worth at least 5 stars from start to finish! Steve was super responsive, knowledgeable, and very prepared. We were so impressed with the level of detail from the service team's inspection as well as the overall customer service.

This was the first time I came to this marina as I’m a new boat owner and we we're having difficulty with the boat motor. I brought it on a Saturday and I wasn’t given any information on when I would hear something. I called on Tuesday just to see when I’d get more information and I was told “well it’s been assigned to a technician. ” and then I asked will I hear something by Friday and she told me probably. I didn’t hear anything by about 2: 00 on Friday so I called and was told someone would call me back. I never got a call back but I got an email saying the boat needed a power head or block so it’s not worth fixing. I called back and asked what that means and I got told the motor is toast. I’m not really knowledgeable on engines and so I just wanted to understand what was done and how they came to that conclusion. I got no information and I asked for a quote for the repair and received nothing for a full week and I emailed twice and finally I just asked for the bill on the work done. They didn’t really give me any next steps or anything. For a service industry and a large dealer I’m a super small fish but I’m still a customer and I won’t be back if I really do need to buy a new boat or motor.

Extremely grumpy and rude staff at service.top shop folks seem great so far! Will update after work us completed.

Just bought a used mastercraft from Steve in sales. If I can give more than 5 stars for my experience I would. Steve was awesome at getting the deal done and boat ready very quickly so I could get out on the Water. Also he refered me to Paul in the retail store. I bought some accessories and what a cool guy Paul is too. Both of these fine gentlemen went above and beond for me. Great staff and service. Highly recommend if you are looking for a boat, parts or accessories. Thanks guys.

I dealt with Taylor Mombourquette based on a referral from Andy at Muskoka Wake. The purchase was seemless! Very efficient and professional operation they have built there.certainly will not be my last purchase.

Part I needed for an old outboard no longer available from manufacturer. Parts staff went well out of their way to provide part numbers needed and a contact for a marina in the states that could ship me the part. Stellar service. A thousand times thanks!

Ordered a Yamaha VK 540 snowmobile through Gordon Bay Marina last spring. Valerie Rivvet handled the sale for me. I had contacted a few other Yamaha dealers that were noticeably further away from our cottage, however Gordon bay marina seemed the most helpful, knowledgable and had the best price by noticeable margin. Furthermore, since I don’t have a tow hitch or snowmobile trailer, the fact that they were willing to deliver the snowmobile and offered to pick up and drop off the snowmobile in the first year if they were any mechanical issues, was a greatly appreciated service that differentiated them further. Other than a minor misunderstanding regarding the Acceptable forms of payment, the final pick up of the snowmobile went flawlessly, and everyone that I dealt with from the tech who went over the operating procedures, etc, to the individual who delivered the snowmobile, were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Gordon Bay to anyone considering a Yamaha snowmobile in the area!

Bought 2 atvs and 2 sleds from here over the past 15 years. They are not the cheapest by any means, but the service has always been good if I had to go back for any warranty work. Service guys seem very knowledgeable and friendly. Shop around if you are looking for a steal, as it may not be here.

DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT bring your boat there, zero integrity taking absolutely no responsibility for there actions. After spending close to $7000 the ballast hose were all put on wrong when asked if they were tested the response was let me find out (UM SHOULD YOU NOT KNOW) Then the answer was, we filled them half way which would be totally impossible because they had one centre line that takes in water going out of a drain line what a JOKE! When I called them on that she said she will reimburse me the $67 but who’s going to reimburse me the $400 I had to pay for a local guy to fix your mistake. Asked to fix the gas gauge said yes but not done, Asked to fix the ballast gauges said yes but not done, I could go on and on. There are other places to bring your boat trust me just don’t go there!

Just bought an OEM prop that retails online manufacturer direct $559.00 was charged $1350.00 from gordon bay marine in muskoka. Not happy. Won’t be recommending or using them again while boating in the area as we do almost every weekend. As well as the tool to take the old prop off was $170.00 which online is around $60.00 and is nothing more than a C clamp. Taking advantage of clients like that is disgusting

Taylor was a pleasure to deal with, from our first phone meeting to our face-to-face at the Cottage Life Show, followed by delivery of our new boat. Yes, there was an issue that was unexpected, the responsibility of the boat manufacturer, and Taylor/Gordon Bay Marine, sorted things out along with the the boat company, quickly and to our satisfaction. We recommend them and would use them again for future boating needs.

Dishonest. I went in there this long weekend with a brand new Mercury outboard that I bought in the city because I live in the city. It would not start. I asked if they might have someone who could look at it to see if it's something I was missing. The first thing I was asked was where i bought it. Old guy behind the counter rudely said "So you want me to honour the warranty when you bought it elsewhere? " A lady came over and kind of shooed him out of the way and asked a mechanic if he would just take it to the shop and check it. I thanked them both. He checked it and told me it had major issues as it was leaking oil too and he couldn't get it to pull. Told me i should take it back to where i bought it. I eventually got through to the Bass Pro Shop where I bought it and their parts guy (not even a mechanic) told me it was a common problem with the new Mercury outboards - if you tip them the wrong way they get hydrolock. He told me to take out the spark plug, pull it and oil should come out of the spark plug hole. Keep pulling until it stops running out, then reinstall the plug and try it. I did this and it worked without a problem. If you don't want to honour a warranty because someone didn't buy from you, just say that. Don't waste my time and freak me out thinking I bought a lemon. Clearly this was an easy fix as I did it myself in less than 5 minutes. Either someone is dishonest or doesn't know much about Mercury outboards. Either way, I won't be back to purchase my new boat from you.

We live a five hour drive from Gordon Bay Marine and have never visited the company. However, we did purchase a new Bayliner boat over the phone from the company and had it delivered to us. We felt comfortable doing this because of the excellent long standing reputation of Gordon Bay Marine and also the excellent reputation of Bayliner boats. We were not disappointed! The sales person was most helpful and kept us informed as to the status of our purchase and the delivery driver was polite and helpful as well. The boat was delivered fully equipped on time as agreed. I highly recommend dealing with this company based on our experience
