They produced an excellent framed canvas reproduction of an acrylic painting I created and photographed for reproduction. They are knowledgeable, skillful and great to work with.

The best place in Ottawa to get film developed! The team is super friendly and knowledgeable, the film is developed quickly (I tend to get mine in 1-2 days most of the time!), and the prices can’t be beat!

Knocked off a star because I was told processing film would be two business days and it ended up being 3 days. Would not accept a Visa debit card over the phone, although I had a credit card to use. Otherwise satisfied!

I've been using GPC to develop my film for the past year and a half and have been really happy with the quality of their services. Service is super friendly, turnaround times are pretty quick (sometimes as quick as the next day!) and have consistently provided good work for me. If you're looking to get your film developed in the Ottawa area, this is your place!

Great service and very fast developing, processing and scanning. I'm always happy with the results I get. I tend to drop off some rolls later during the day after work (4: 30-5pm) and everytime I get my scans sent via email the next day. If it's printing it takes usually 2-3 days which is more than reasonable.

I definitely recommend their service if you need a place to get some films developped, processed and scanned!

Pros: high quality prints done right on-site without having to wait for days for processing and delivery. Easy to reach location right in the middle of downtown.

Cons: customer service. I’ve come to this shop several times over the past few years, and one thing doesn’t change and that is the attitude the staff can give you. While they are not rude or flat out offensive, they do tend to be pretty fussy and somewhat condescending when you ask them for advice or explanations. I feel this is uncalled for and unnecessary. Every time this has happened, I keep telling myself it might have been a particular staff member or maybe it was a misunderstanding. Yet, I always manage to walk out of their shop feeling like I never want to take my business there again.

GPC does all my printing for art prints. The staff are friendly and meticulous in their quality control. I once had to take a large 24x36 black and white print back as there was a flaw in part of the black background. That's not unusual as pure black can be difficult to print in large consistently. They specially reprinted it then brought me into the back to review the resulting new print and confirm it was good for framing. And they did the reprint for free! I give them all my print business.

So pleased to see that GPC Labworks has re-opened for business. I get all my photo printing done here. The quality of their work is exceptional. The prices are fair and turnaround time is dependable. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I've done extensive research and called almost every lab in Ottawa, and I can confidently say they have the fastest returns for the most affordable price in the entire city. It's a bit less than $20/roll and I usually get it back within 2 days. I love Labworks! Friendly staff as well.

Service inconsistent, lacking standard of quality. They do not seem to be interested in maintaining a quality standard for amateur photographers.

Terrible service my film was cut half way through my photos I got the photos scanned and they have split some photos into two half’s for some strange reason other photos parts were missing since they cut the negative half way through the picture also there’s a lot of dust on the scans with wierd marks around it which ruined the scans I got and my negatives are all scratched up thought I’d give them a second chance but not worth it your better off shipping your film to Toronto get them developed at downtown cameras for half the price at jpeg they’ll give you amazing scans in half the time perfect quality never going here again just trash

As a professional photographer who shoots exclusively on film, GPC Labworks is the only spot I trust for consistent and quality film processing. Their service is ALWAYS quick and with the hundreds of rolls of film I have brought in, they have never once been late or made mistakes. Print quality is high, and prices are fair, I never hesitate to recommend this place. If you are looking to purchase rolls of film they have really expanded the products they carry and have a great variety at BY FAR the best prices in Ottawa (less than half the cost on certain rolls compared to certain large brand stores right down the block.) Not sure why there seems to be bashing of the girls who work the counter as I have always found them cheerful and very helpful. All of the staff are knowledgeable and knew my name and how I like my film after a couple months of visiting, it's always nice to be remembered and find places that still value customer service.
