I had a great experience at Granata. Brought in my childhood guitar - they fixed it up, polished and it sound and looks New. The best part though was the passion that Gino (sp?) had. Its awesome to see and learn from someone who is so passionate about guitars. Highly recommend the place.

Even though they where closed on Sunday they opened up just for us. The customer service was outstanding! 100% worth the visit, my son is a beginner and the owner set him up with his very first guitar and everything else that he needed. I can confidently say this was the best experience ever and we will be back for sure!

Went shopping for an acoustic guitar here and also able to take lessons. Added an electric one for Christmas. My son's been doing lessons for almost 4 months and enjoys it and making lots of use of the guitars.

Great service. I accidentaly ordered the wrong keyboard which I realized after recieving the shipped product but Gino helped me out and reimbursed my money according to their return policy with no issue within 3 days.

Great sounding and looking guitar. Super fast delivery form Ottawa to Aurora where I live. There was only a loose nut on one of the capstans which made a bit noise when playing. I opened the strings and it was an easy fix for me, but I don' think average and inexperienced user can do it. So please pay more attention to details for even a better costumer service.

I sold an old guitar and subsequently bought a new guitar at this location. This is a great store with outstanding customer service. They will take the time to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for. For example while shopping for my new guitar, they set me up with an amp in a back room and let me try multiple guitars until I found one that gave me the tone I was looking for. Highly recommended!

Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Have a good selection of items and music. My kids love their music teachers and want to come to their lessons. Bought 2 ukuleles and an electric guitar and amp. Quality instruments and have done good repairs on one of the ukuleles for me.

I'm incredibly happy with the work that was done on my guitar. It was obvious from the amount of dust on the it that I hadn't been playing it much but now I can't put it down. Being able to sit down and strum a few chords while singing my favourite songs again feels like reconnecting with a lost love. Gino and the Granata team injected a little joy into my life with their work, and it was truly a pleasure to meet and chat with everyone there. I'll be back again soon for sure!

You can't beat this service. The owner opened up the store for me on a Sunday to pick up an amp. This store has a long history in Ottawa and is loaded with good gear. A beautiful setup of all available Epiphone guitars. Tons of music sheets and accessories. Looking forward to go back.

I recorded my entire album here I absolutely adore this place. The owner Gino is a great person who provides a great atmosphere inside his store. There’s multiple practice spaces along with a recording studio. The sound engineer is extremely friendly and encouraging as well. There’s a variety of beautiful instruments and equipment/accessories sold here. Highly recommend to anyone. Kid friendly

I love going to Granata! Gino (owner) is an amazing person, the staff are great and very knowledgable about their instruments. My wife and kids take their lessons there and it's been a very happy experience for me to watch their personal and musical growth as they continue to learn, practice and play. My Fender 12-string acoustic needed adjustment. I brought it to Gino mid afternoon. He did the adjustment and tuned the guitar before close of business that day. Gino recommended a guitar humidifier. I bought one without hesitation. Excellent service, friendly and personable. I will do more business with Gino in the future. Thank you Gino.

I cannot think of a better place to go to for music needs than Granata Music. First and foremost, I am very picky on where to go for my musical instruments. Music is art and my guitars are the tools needed to create what I do. When I first stepped into Granata Music, I was greeted by the friendliest employee I have ever met (And I have been to many places) Gino was very courteous, answered all the questions I had and even best, did not try to upsell me anything.i also learned that they will do what they can to get a specific instrument in, if they do not have it. I then brought my guitar in for a setup. Not only was he really quick (It was done by the end of the day), but such an amazing job was done on my guitar. It plays like a dream. The best part of the whole experience was that I wasn't treated like a customer, but as a friend. I highly reccomend going to GRANATA MUSIC to anyone who is either beginning to learn how to play an instrument, or even the well seasoned ones. This is most definitely a place I am going back to. It is my new home away from home.

When I arrived I had missed the store hours by a few minutes. I called to make sure the hours were accurate (because of covid) and the owner actually turned around and came back and opened the store for me! He was very polite and knowledgable. A great experience!

This is a pretty cool store for Ottawa's limited number of music stores and rehearsal spaces. I go there once a week at the drum room with different jam bodies, and it's a pretty descent place with a fair price. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I don't have other but great impressions. Recommended for drummers or small bands! Thank you!

Truly expensive and unfair place to change your guitar strings.
They charged me $60 for a simple work while I was waiting for the manager almost one hour to change strings of my acoustic guitar.
Very unfriendly manager.
I will never ever shop there again.

Got my Epiphone Hummingbird Pro from here almost a week ago and I've been loving it. Definitley a great place to get instruments etc.

I took bass lessons with Mina for a few years and loved it! Granata provides an incredibly supportive and encouraging learning environment and is a great place to explore your passion for music. The staff in also very knowledgeable and are a great help for anything music related.

While most franchise music stores were quoting a month turn-around to get my guitar serviced, Gino got the thing done in under 48h.

On top of that, he always kept me in the loop and even had me come in for half an hour to help fine-tune it to my liking.

Really appreciative of the amazing and quick help /service I received, during a pandemic no less!

Will be returning here for all my future music-related needs

I need a tuner and during this hard times with the pandemic still going, I thought I have to wait for longer to buy one. But I phoned GRANATA and I was accommodated very delightfully. I was running late for the agreed time, but he patiently waited and helped me with a very friendly service. Thank you Granata and I forgot to ask his name but he is gorgeous. And I got complimentary gift too!

This is easily one of the BEST music stores in the city! They have a great selection of instruments, offer lessons and even perform repairs.

I used to come here as a kid, but haven't visited for over a decade since I moved. I was in the area today and was excited to visit this store again.

Some things never change! The customer service here is and will always be top notch. I went in just for strings and lemon oil. I was immediately greeted with a smile as I entered.

I was first assisted by Gino. He was knowledgable and quickly found what I was looking for. I had a few questions which both Gino and Victor were able to answer. Both of them were very personable, friendly and helpful.

Went in a few months back to pick up strings. Even if they had what i was looking for the guy recommended a similar string that i went for and ended up liking better. I've been playing guitar for 30 years and have never been to a store where there take the time to offer alternatives of the usual gear i chose, this is really great.

Since then this is my new go to spot and is so much closer to my home then going downtown. No complaints at all
