Close to home, small personal clinic. Staff were friendly and reassuring. Dog was comfortable. Prices are much better than other local vets.

Not very knowledgeable doctor. (i don’t know his name) when i asked quite simple questions about my cats i was answered with “i don’t know…”
doctor also misdiagnosed my friend’s kitten and cost her lots of money and unnecessary stress on the poor kitten.proper tests were not preformed and proper medication was not prescribed.kitten was worse off than she was before coming to this vet.i’m not returning here again with my animals.

Within the last year, both of my senior dogs had to be euthanized. They fought as hard as I did to keep them alive while working to keep them both pain free and living their best lives right until the end. Honestly, they gave me every moment I could have had with my dogs and they were all so caring and compassionate towards all of us when the end inevitably came. In grief, it often feels like we have not said thank you enough and recognized that it is heartrending for all involved. Thank you again.

Take your fur baby elsewhere. They were VERY aggressive with my nervous dog. She is still traumatized, from the aggressive approach.
They do not provide alternative treatment options for your pet, if their initial treatment plan is impossible to work with due to a difficult pet. And they Will make you look like you are neglecting your pet if you don't comply to their treatment plan.

We asked several times for an alternative way to treat our dog, only to be refused. Zero compassion and zero professionalism.

Update: Their office had the nerve to send an email to me saying, "I for personal reasons decided not to treat my dog so I assumed risks and complications that will arise for not following the advice given. "

We are returning to our original vet back in Cambridge where they have given more reasonable treatment options to us and are truly compassionate and professional.

Had a puppy in pretty bad pain and when we called after 5 on a Friday, we were told come right in. As busy as they were they made room for Rosco and thanks to the vet and his compassionate staff, Rosco is a much happier puppy!

The staff are friendly and nice at the office, however, I only recommend you go here for simple things like seasonal immunizations or shots. If presented with a serious problem, they will just charge you for some medicine that will not help and send you on your way. Not a genuinely good doctor who is willing to spend the time to find the problem for you and your pet.

I trust them and never had any problems. Staff are very friendly and they have a cat that comforts you.

As pleasant as an unpleasant visit could be because we had to put our dog down. A bit expensive

Our pets receive quality care at Grand Ave Pet Hospital. Staff are knowledgeable and compassionate.

I brought my cat to see Dr. Raza at 8: 30- 8: 45 am on a business day. Although my cat was extremely ill, Dr. Raza who appeared to be doing paperwork in the office at the time, told me he could not help me until the office opened at 9 am. My cat could have died during this wait time.

At 9 am, I told Dr. Raza what I thought the problem was. I am not a vet, and merely offered an opinion that turned out to be wrong. Rather than conduct his own assessment, or a full physical exam, Dr. Raza simply accepted my mis-diagnosis, and gave my cat a steroid injection and fluids. As a result of this treatment, my cat's condition worsened, and he was in critical condition when I brought him to a veterinary hospital. The diagnosis and treatment provided by the second vet clinic was completely different from the one given to me by Dr. Raza. If I had accepted Dr. Raza's advice, my cat would have died. My cat had surgery, and has fully recovered.

Absolutely amazing service, took my dog as an emergency when we aren’t their client and a bunch of other clinics turned us away. So thankful for them

They got me in quick. They diagnosed the issue and gave medication that seemed to work immediately. Just wish medication wasn't so expensive over $1,000 in medication
