Grand Avenue Park

Beautifull small park with a decent soccer stadium. Id give it a 5 star if only it wasnt to expensive to rent the lights of the stadium.

Beautiful park.lacks shade at the moment. Hopefully, that changes in the second phase in 2023

Features special dog's off-leash area, but if you take your dog to the soccer field despite the signage that asks not to do so, please pick up after your pet right away. As I was dancing my bottom off the other day, I almost stepped in to a "landmine" like that. While I am getting banned without valid reason in certain places simply for being who I am and dressing like a Bunny, some dog owners behave like this soccer field was built for their dogs. If I am there and notice you pretending you didn't notice your pet dedicated on the field, I will scoop that warm fresh poop of your dog, will bring it up to you and put it right in you face. It is not shady, it is not cozy, you can see 5-10 people in it, no more.
Zero dogs in the unleash area. It is not for people.

It's nice to walk around but once you want to sit none of the benches have shade. They're all placed along the walking path in direct sunlight. If you want to sit in the shade you have to bring your own chair or towel or sit on the grass.

Previously just a field, the park has undergone a major redevelopment over the last couple of years. Still some finishing touches left but it's a great place in the neighborhood with benches, a sports field, dog area, and parking.

Was a nice open space, however this park is no longer here as it is now a construction site

This place is a menace.let's rename it dog park. Extremely unsafe as people leave their dogs loose and dogs a lot of times pounce at others walking by for no reason. Our neighbor recently got a huge scratch on her stomach when 2 of theses dogs pounced at her. Not to mention that people do not clean after their pets. On telling people to leash their dogs.the dog owners are rude and nasty. It's a sad Green space overall. Wish I had known before moving in the neighborhood.

Lovely open space with some shaded areas under a picnic table at the front near the road. I walk the perimeter with my dog in the morning. The park is clean and well maintained. It has a blue bin and garbage bin. I wish it had a green bin but there's wildlife that would make a mess if it was available. I've been told there are some coyotes in the brush area, so be careful with your pets and small children near dusk and dawn. I've seen the coyotes in the area too but not specifically at this park. Otherwise, a great place to enjoy nature!

Beautiful, open and dog-friendly space. Near the iconic ice cream joint, Tom's Dairy Freeze too.
