Grand Cinnamon Banquet & Convention

My sisters's wedding in late October 2023 turned into a nightmare due to my uninformed decision-making. The dinner service was a disaster: unprofessional servers, shockingly low-quality and excessively spicy food that bore no resemblance to the samples provided. The chicken biryani was a letdown with scarce chicken and even a fly making an appearance. To add to the chaos, a self-proclaimed young 'manager' and a lack of staff left us stranded. The meager portions and poor serving etiquette, coupled with rock-hard naan, highlighted the unacceptable standard of the entire meal. This dismal experience came with an outrageously high price tag. My advice: avoid this place at all costs. Think twice, thrice, or as many times as needed before considering this venue.

We had the pleasure of hosting our parents 25th anniversary at Grand Cinnamon Banquet Hall last weekend, and we couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, every detail was executed flawlessly, making it a truly memorable night. We received numerous compliments on their delicious food and service. The buffet was replenished generously throughout the event, ensuring that there was more than enough food for all guests. Waseem, our main point of contact deserves special recognition. His commitment to ensuring the seamless flow throughout the night was evident from the beginning to the end. Waseem went above and beyond, staying the entire night to oversee every aspect of the night. Thank you Grand Cinnamon for the amazing hospitality and impeccable service!

This hall is really good for making memories. All my guests were really happy and satisfied with the service provided. The staff was also very helpful and mannered.

I visited here 2-3 times and all the times they have treated with the best they can. They provide excellent service in all the aspects.

Came here for my kids 1st birthday party.
Everything’s as great but we were not told about the food services were limited. Half my guests left with out eating. When asked they said it was in the contract you should have read it. Not to mention they had newbie at the bar and he was the slowest guy I have ever seen at the bar serving. If you do book this hall which I will

I attended a event in their hall A today on Sunday Oct 22. My family and i had a great experience. There were times where we didn't have waiters but the main manager Wasim kept coming in the hall and meeting with the family and making sure everything went incredibly well. The food was tastey and the decoration was set up very nice and spacious. Thank you for a fantastic experience Wasim, we will book with you soon inshallah

My family attended a wedding here on Sunday Aug 26. There was poor direction to tell us which entrance to use for our wedding. (There were 2 weddings). The others wedding bridal party was entering in the main entrance so we couldnt use that. After you enter the venue using a side entrance there is no signage for where your wedding.

Food: Appam station was good. The rest of the food was okay (3 stars). The payasam was very questionable. I couldnt tell if it was payasam. It looked like potato curry with no potato. The mango ice cream melted. There were no forks for the breakfast station. I had to ask one server who directrd to another server and by this time, most of the crowd was eating pongal with their hands.

Coordinator: I had no idea where the halll coordinator was. The video and photo team were doingall that

We held our daughter's wedding with over 600 people on September 2nd, and Ruween helped us so much. The food was amazing, and the service was extremely well! The guests all had a great time.

Went there for a wedding, I was not impressed by the set-up but that's just my opinion. The place was not bright enough when entering the hallway it didn't feel welcoming. As I said before it my opinion.

Unprofessional servers, low quality extremely spicy food (not the same as sample provided) some of the guests couldn’t eat the two very spicy items including biryani.
Venue was clean but insufficient AC.
Enough parking was available. Communication gap between host and manager.

Working with Grand Cinnamon Banquet & Convention was an absolute pleasure. As Wedding Floor Wrap, we had the opportunity to collaborate on a project, and the experience was outstanding. Best customer service. Hall is a bit too pricey. Washroom is very very very bad. Washroom is absolutely disgusting. Staff need to clean the washrooms every hour at least.

My goodness this banquet hall is phenomenal. The chandeliers look like a million dollars. Huge space to accommodate a very, very large family for a wedding. Staff were alert, Constantly keeping busy, water glass full and removing dirty plates.
