If I could give 10 stars, I would. The owner opened up his salon on a day he was CLOSED to assist with my vacation nails. I have been going to Grand LV nails for over 2 years. I have yet to ever be disappointed. Always a clean, personable, professional environment. BOTH salons are the BEST in Mississauga GTA!

I went in to get a pedicure and UV gel nails. Pedicure turned out great and I’m still rocking the colour. The UV gel nail application was a disaster, she applied a
Thick layer of the gel, they looked very fake and unnatural. They started to lift within the first week. I went back to fix them but still they kept the nail very thick. I went back again to fix the lifted nail and make them thinner, they said they would fix it when I came for a fill. I went for a fill and they still look thick, and the nail colour is unevenly applied. Btw they charged me for the fill, and still did terrible Job. This is extremely disappointing.

The staff here are so rude they don’t speak a lick of English yet they feel the need to add dumb commentary. They performed a rush manicure job as well such a horrible experience. This guy asked what I did for work and proceeded to laugh and said it was easy. What does that even mean? You’re busting your behind slaving away on my nails hun.

I met Kelly at the LV nails. She gave me best deal and she was very nice and professional.
I would recommend to visit this saloon to get a nice experience with Kelly.

The owner Jayden is full of himself with absolutely no respect for his PAYING customers who surprisingly keep him in business. He gossips in English in front of you & then back in vietnamese and will smirk. Has done this on multiple occasions. He also does not know how to shape nails so expect to walk out with the opposite of what you asked for. I dont know why I continued to go here. I have also always tipped extremely generously. The last straw was the way he spoke to me on the phone today, its as if he forgets WE keep him in business. Not worth your time or money. Stay away from this narcissist & disrespectful individual, not to mention over priced work that looks like a 5 year old did it. Instead of opening a second salon he should improve on his customer service because his business will continue to go downhill. Will advise everyone to stay away from here going forward. There are much better places one can go to be respected, receive what they ask for & be satisfied as a paying customer. Not worth going here.

The BEST nail salon I have ever been to! I see jayden every time but have been with others here too, they all do an AMAZING job! The service is fantastic the workers are so friendly and take care of customers to the best of their abilities! They are really good! Have really good designs and great service! I definitely recommend this to everyone!

They use MMA and I think that should be enough to deter you from going here. I was a loyal customer until I went to get a soak off at a another salon and I found out they had been using MMA on me. My nails are cracking and peeling off. They are paper thin and weak. You can see how shiny they are and sticky, again because they use MMA and it was very hard to take off. It is disappointing that you trust and are a loyal customer to have an establishment use illegal products that are harmful to your nails. I hope they learn how to run a business with better integrity in the future and I hope they stop running peoples natural nails just for some coin.

Terrible place. Over priced and not worth your time. My nails chipped with shellac after a week and I’ve never had this issue before. Also the owner will pressure people into giving tips as well as other services like pedicures if you were only going in for simple services like manicures. DO NOT GET THE EYELASH EXTENSIONS HERE. I never got them done but from what I’ve seen, I know this place won’t professionally do it.

Tiffany was amazing! She explained everything and was very patient as this was my first experience getting my nails done. A must try.

Tammy did my nails today for gel shellac and hot stone pedicure and she was amazing! She was very friendly, professional and really took her time to listen and create the design I wanted. I’ve been getting my nails done here for the past 6 years and i’ve never gone anywhere else. They know how do to everything I want without me having to tell them. Love them and will always come back

It started rocky as I had called the day before and asked if they do encapsulated nails, the nails without tips. I was told yes and i told them id like to book an appointment for the following day. She said yes come in and that she booked it. I asked do you need my name she said no i already booked for you. The appointment was for my 17 year old cousin who is visiting from abroad. When we showed up they were so busy obviously taking on more than they had manpower for. I let them know i was there for the appointment for encapsulated nails. And asked you do those right? I was told yes yes.they say my cousin down we showed him the design and i stepped out for 25 minds to go to metro. I come back they put nail tips on her, were doing her design. Turns out no one knew how to do it. My 8 year old could've drawn better hearts. We ended up asking him to remove his heart design and just paint it a sold sparkly pink. The whole experience was terrible. They are good with sticking on stuff on top but are really not good nail technicians. Definitely not honest if they couldn't do encapsulated or even the design they should've been honest from the get go.

I was not asked to sign in. I've attached a picture for you to review my cousins nails along with my payment from my bank account along with the date. Unfortunately my cousin is leaving on Tuesday. Two gentlemen attempted to fix the design a d they were unable to do it. In regards to the encapsulated nails i have no idea the level of difficulty they entail, but they wouldn't do them, and they put tips on her nails. My apologies i keep saying encapsulated but when i was asking i said the nails without using tips. I was advised today they are called sculpted. So the wording may have been off but i kept saying the ones without the tips.

If this were true, why would you not have been present if we had an appointment with you? Regardless when we arrived. I let them know we were there to get nails done I had called the day before about the nails without using tips. When they told her to sit down, I reiterated to the gentlemen, that it was the nail without the tips, he nodded and asked to see the design. Which, again he was not able to do the design asked, and never told us he could not complete it. We were not in the wrong, we told them we were not happy and the two gentlemen that were there got upset and proceeded to quickly get us out.my cousin left to Chile last night. I've attached a picture of her nails how they were now. Absolutely horrible after only 3 days, completely chipped and nails were turning dark. I hope she does not get any infection. I paid the hefty price of the nails, and at that point there was no going back and forth her nails were botched and now she would have to deal with a bad decision on my end to take her to your salon.

Best experience! Staff was friendly and my nails were so pretty. I usually only do shellac manicure but they convinced me to do nail art; and I love it! I have received so many compliments

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! So unprofessional I couldn’t believe it their Instagram looks so nice we dahm well know it’s all fake followers and pictures the guy who did my nails didn’t know what he was doing I told him my nails weren’t even (all different lengths) he said don’t worry about that and kept filing them them thinner they don’t listen to customers and the place is the size of my washroom and they will cram so many people in there…it’s not spa environment to get a pedicure that’s for sure I felt like I was in a cage in a zoo… the staff just seemed weird and uneducated. Please don’t go here also my nails do not match up to the work they post

My first experience at Grand LV and i left very satisfied. Staff is very welcoming, and lots of patience with people whos is picky as me. Cherry did such a great job tolerating my pickyness! Her work is amazing and she knows what shes doing!
I would deffinitly recommend this place to anyone!

Jaden is very rude to customers and they like to rush the service, more concerned about quantity and not actually quality of work! I asked for a specific style and was told that I’m “too picky” …I’m confused bcuz I thought that I was paying for a service & design done to my liking, clearly I was wrong.

Awful customer service. Did not get what I asked for and over charged after telling him how unhappy I am.he put on 1 of the nails slanted and was laughing about it. Waste of my time and waste of my money. Wish I could give this place ZERO Stars right now.

Not impressed. Did my nails here for the first and last time. Considering all the hype I was expecting better service. You literally have to book with one person and one person only to experience the quality they brag about on Instagram.

They do a really good job here and they have straight tips for new nails which is much nicer than the curved tips other salons have.

Johnny is my go to! He is friendly and always willing to try new things. He always makes sure I leave happy and with a better set over nails than I had in mind! Very clean COVID safe location!

I had a wonderful experience. Owner is cutie and friendly person. Must come place for all in one service. Plus there is all these cool stuff that you can get here like the latest slippers. The eyelash extensions are awesome and fast. The women who does them are caring and makes sure your lashes are done right.

Told me the wait time was 20mins, I was in there for 40 and they told me 5 more mins at least 3 times. I left after the hour and 20 min mark without my nails getting done. At least be honest about your wait times. Went to another nail salon and they had started my nails after being there for 10 mins. Waste of time.

I ALWAYS get my nails done at Grand LV Nails. Jayden never disappoints when it comes to quality nails and designs. He always wants to make sure his nails are always done with precision. I got my nails done yesterday and I honestly have to say that my experience there was very amazing. They had good communication and great customer service. I’m in love with my nails and definitely encourage others to go and do their nail there too.

I was really excited for my appointment since I heard lots of good stuff about their work. I was really disappointed when I left. I think they are great with acrylic design but depends on which nail artist is doing it for you. My nails did not really look like the design I had asked for. It was also really thick, tape design was lifting and when I asked, the artist said it was ok after he puts topcoat on. Regardless it looked really ugly. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of my whole set but I actually left grandLV and went to a different salon in streetsville the same day to remove the whole set and got a new one done.

Grandlv is a great salon for those who like thicker nails in case they break easily.

Bottom line, terrible experience right from the beginning.
Quick sum up - crowded spacing, a bad layout, unsanitary, intentional product fraud, unprofessional nail 'technicians' and management, amateur work, and overpriced pay.

I normally would not frequent new salons without having recommendations beforehand, however, I had been in the area on a late Friday afternoon and decided to get my nails done here. When I first entered the salon it was cramped, without much room to even stand as you enter the place because there is only one step in and you'll be right at the cash register. That aside I asked to use their restroom and it was absolutely horrendous. Not only was it messy, but it was not sanitary to any standard.
Moving on to the nail experience; I specifically asked them before coming in to have a BioGel set done, which I also followed up again upon arrival. Be that as it may they had used acrylic, masking it with shellac as a base and top coat thinking I wouldn't notice. After deliberately attempting to deceive me, the nail 'technician' began the design. Keep this in mind - that they had the photo of the nails I wanted right in front of them the entire time. I had already planned a simpler pattern I had found online compared to the ones they show on their page. Knowing if they can achieve what they post, they must be able to do a much more straightforward pattern. What I chose was a base colour with some marble technique on a couple nails, and a few strips of lines. Simply novice if you compare to what they supposedly post. Nonetheless the nail 'technician' couldn't do it and the management had to finish. However, notwithstanding that now the management kept getting up and taking breaks a few times to complain how tired he was. Even so, they managed to make it look like complete amateur work on top of debauching the nails as he was wiping them off.

Overall horrid experience. Do not ever plan to come again.
Ladies be warned!

On December 3rd I made an appointment for December 23rd (today) for 10am for me and 11am for my mother. As I am incredibly picky about who does my nails I saw Jayden’s work on Instagram and decided to give this place a chance. When I booked my appointment they told me to please show up on time. We showed up at 9: 50. Jayden was not there which was fine because my appointment was for 10. They said he would arrive in 5 mins. As we were waiting a lady walked in and said that she had an appt with Jayden at 10, but as they saw we were irritated they told her someone else would help her. They offered to let someone else start me but I said no as I booked my appointment with Jayden, not the entire salon. Anyways, we sat there for 31 mins. At 10: 21 we decided to get up and leave as he still did NOT arrive but yet he was “five mins away” as we were waiting a lady walked in and said she needs a nail repair they told her Jayden will do it for her when he arrives. How was that possible? If my appointment was for 10? This place is highly unprofessional and disorganized. How can you book appointments on top of appointments and not even show up for it? Will not be returning here ever!

RESPONSE TO JAYDEN:

Sorry to hear about your kids being sick.

HOWEVER, if you are running a professional business your staff would properly inform us that you had an emergency and NOT say "he will be here in 2 seconds. " You say we booked a pedicure at 9: 30 I can post my message here that I dm'd your account and said, 10 for a refill and 11 for a refill, at no point did I plan for a pedicure. Your staff offered a pedicure to my mother at 10 for while YOU do my nails she would be occupied. However, they put her feet in the water and the lady that was going to do it went and did someone else and, she said ok forget it I don't have time for this. You say you arrived 5 minutes after we left, that would have been essentially 10: 30. PLUS you had TWO PEOPLE WALK IN that said they were booked at 10 with you because they spoke to you and you told them to come at 10. NOT TO MENTION, a woman walked in with broken nails and they said "oh no problem when Jayden comes he will do your nails first" THAT IS NOT PROFESSIONAL OR FAIR.

Unfortunately, your skill is not that good or important that I would take 40 minutes out of my day and sit and wait for you. I have a way better nail tech in Toronto, that is very humble about her work. I just decided to give you a chance despite your reviews and how close you are. Anyways, hope your children are feeling better and do not tell us "when you have kids you will understand" I am my mothers daughter I'm sure she would understand and, she was right there. Also who are you to me that you know I do not have any kids? I don't recall having that conversation with you. That is a very unprofessional response to a potential paying customer. You need to go to sensitivity training. At no time were we informed you had an emergency so to us first time customers and how the rest of your staff was acting, made you look very very bad. Also to say you would have someone else start me, I am EXTREMELY picky about my nails, I did not want anyone else to start me so I am not at fault for that.

I booked an appointment here and still waited 30 mins past my appointment time to get served. Jayden did my nails. Shape and design are perfect, but he was rather rough. While taking off my old set, he hurt me while trying to show me that the old product is bending (which was not from their salon). Then he scraped off part of my natural nail as he was trying to scrape off the old biogel. He also filed my skin on three different fingers.

My mom and I came to get our nails done this past Saturday. After seeing their Instagram we were thinking we would come out with the best nails we would ever get. Unfortunately that was not the case. I got acrylic nails with shellac on then. It’s been 2 days and the shellac is already chipping off. The lady did very poorly on the shape and smoothness of my nails along with the “marble” design. I tried to explain to her how to do it because as weird as it is she didn’t seem to know how! As well while she was doing the acrylic she had to redo so many spot because she didn’t fill them properly. It’s so crazy to me how a customer has to tell the professional how to do it. On top of my nails, my moms nail has already broken off! She did not get long nails. This place is over priced and the staff are very pushy. It only seems to be worth it if you want outrageous nails, if not don’t bother going. For what we paid, what we got was ridiculous. At first they told me 70$ for these nails then I ended up cutting them shorter to pay 57$! Insane. 2 day old nails that look like 2 week old nails. Not worth it. Would never come back.

****update: not even 2 weeks later my nails have all lifted and fallen off. To be exact it has been 10 days. I have never had a full set come off this early, I have been doing acrylic nails for years at galaxy nails in Brampton and they last me atleast a month. The one time I changed location they last me a week! Over priced, bad quality, it seems only one person can actually do nails there. I can’t even get them redone because it’s only guaranteed for one week!

Best nail salon I have ever gone to, everyone does nails very well and takes their time doing them. 10/10 recommend!

The owner/manager “Jayden” is SO unprofessional it’s almost laughable. I overheard him tell a female client that he wanted her as a “booty call. ” I also witnessed him HIT a female multiple times with a file when she wasn’t still enough and he said “I don’t have time for this. ” Excuse me? What do you mean you don’t have time? We’re paying YOU our money. How unbelievably ignorant. I’ll spend my money elsewhere. I’m appalled. This guy should be fired immediately because you are going to lose SO much business.

I’ve seen their work on instagram, their work looks amazing and I’ve heard about their work as well. My friend and I made appointments to get our mails done, first of all we get to the salon and they addressed us like we were walk in.like we didn’t book appointments we basically sat their and waited for the next available person, and the lady I got did a horrible job. My nails a super bulky, the nail polish had bubbles, she painted my cuticles as well. After she was done she tried to remove the nail polish on my cuticles she smudged it. It was awful! It was my first time and I absolutely regretted getting my nails done there. They do really nice work but u got to make sure u get the right person.

Love the work they definitely take their time. The only thing that bothers me is the wait time even if you have an appointment. But I definitely reccomend.

Poor quality UV nails. They post such amazing pictures on Instagram I guess only those mentioned artists can do such nice nails. These are the worst shaped UV nails I’ve ever paid for. My left hand ring finger is curved downward on the right side, and I have built up product under both pinky nails especially on my right hand. They charge $30 for their French ombré which is $15 for 2 coats of light pink shellac and $15 for 2 mins of free hand airbrushing. On top of that I was cut twice during my service. The nail tech apologized profusely but she cut me once while clipping the sides of the fake nails so they’d be coffin shape and once while filling down the nails with that roller sander. It has not been 1 week and the shellac is already chipping off. I paid $30 for a “design” that won’t even last 6 days. On top of that the application of the UV is bumpy and not smooth waste of $65 for a set of nails.

I had a good experience with a shellac manicure and pedicure and decided to come back for a full set but never again.

Went to have my pedicure and manicure done, two girls were doing it at the same time even though I have booked appointment few days earlier. They were rushing because there was still few people waiting and when I wanted to choose the colour she kept saying which one which one and she didn’t let me to take more time. Eventually both colours I’ve chosen I wasn’t satisfied! The (gel) manicure didn’t last a week. Not happy with a service!

Had to schedule two separate appointments as the first did not get scheduled in their calendar. I showed up and I still did not have an appointment. Jayden fit me in but had a different girl shape my nails. They did not listen to what I had asked for. They refused to shorten my nails as they "would be unfashionable" even though I told them I worked on a computer all day. I ended up going home and filing them down myself after my request was not granted. The quality overall was OK but nails still came out thick and bumpy. Will not return.

I really wanted to like this place. I got shellac done and it initially peeled on two fingers so i went back a day later to have the two fingers redone. They said that it was probably due to the lamp as they had to replace it after me. They buffed my nails and applied an extra coat so the two nails were darker and more opaque than the others. Now, a day later, the nail has chipped again. Really disappointed and feel like I wasted my money.

They charge the market average gor a shellac manicure however the quality of the manicure, application and overall hygiene of the place are horrible. Stay away if you have other options!

I would give this place negative stars if I could. They treat you like cattle. Today I went in for bio gel removal. I told the lady she was hurting me and offered to help, as she kept lifting my real nails (instead of the gel). She ignored me as I continued to say she was hurting me and instead chose to let my nails sit in alcohol (even the ones already bare and removed). She DESTROYED my nails. She was completely unaware and had no regard for the health of my nails. To top it all off she then lifted off half of my real thumbnail - very painful almost bringing me to tears. They offered to glue my real nail back on! It was absolutely insane. Finally I had enough and said I was leaving and offered some money for the girls time - to be courteous - and they actually took my money after the whole ordeal. I walked out with completely messed up, half removed nails and a bleeding thumb. DO NOT GO HERE.
