Grand River Natural Stone

Sent me the wrong colour stone, they don’t reply, they don’t care. Terrible customer service. Buyer beware!

We ordered 4 cubic yards of 3/4 inch gravel for our driveway.
The ordering process was very easy and straightforward and the delivery was smooth.
My only issue was that there was no call of an estimate of delivery time or that it was going to delivered on the day I requested. I had to make a couple calls, in the long run not a big deal for us BUT it could have been if circumstances were different.
We will be using them again in the spring though.

This place has great staff and very good prices. I particularly like that I can buy a yard of gravel in two trips with my pickup. They have a lot of experience with outdoor projects as well. Definitely worth a visit.

Friendly and helpful service. Delivery was difficult because of weight restrictions on the bridges that need to be crossed to get to my property. The stone had to be placed on their forklift and delivered two skids at a time. It was done in a friendly and efficient way. Cory was very helpful in getting the order together. Thank you.

I came to Grand River after a not so good experience at Creative Landscape who were not helpful at all. Grand River, specifically, Onno was very professional and took the time to explain the combination of paver stones I wanted to use. This was the first time I was taking on a huge landscape job and Onno was there to answer all my questions and concerns. There was an urgency to get the stones delivered for Power House Landscaping to start the work. Onno came through! There was a mix up on the colour of stone but that was partly my fault as I didn’t double check the invoice. Onno was so efficient and easy to work with, he got the correct colour delivered the next day. Great Communication and service the whole way through. And I was treated as a valued customer not just another customer. Thank you Onno, you are a true professional and it was a pleasure working with you.

I’ve had one or two unfortunate experiences over the years, but on the whole the place is worth shopping at for aggregate. Their pricing is decent and their service is good.

Exceptional company to deal with. Driver dropped 2 totes off in my driveway and in order. My wife being a little OCD would have made me empty a tote that night if both weren't even.
The masonry sand was far superior to other sands form other local companies.
Would use Grand River Natural Stone over and over again. Or at least until my wife's projects are complete.

I have a bad experience with this store. They close 3on Saturday but they can't put the load in the truck because the machine stop working half hour before closing time!
Last year, I lost 20 patio slabs there. I could not take everything with me, and when I came back later with my receipt they said I had taken them already, and they manager didn't help me at all.
Worst store I worked with.

Nick was super helpful at the counter, both him and Chancy gave me a good welcome. Dustin was quick and polite.

I ordered stone veneer for our indoor fireplace. Staff were great to work with and store manager (Corey) was very helpful and responsive. Despite delays from the manufacturer, they got the stone for me in a timely way. Stone is fantastic, exactly as ordered. Very pleased.

Best customer service! The staff are incredibly knowledgable and explain all the different options, applications for their stones. I have been in a couple times and everyone is friendly, processional, and incredibly helpful. They aren't just about making a sale, they want to make sure your project goes will and are happy with the end product. Although all the staff are awesome, Cory was exceptional and really appreciated all the information he shared. I highly recommend Grand River Natural Stone.
