The food arrived quickly and it was very good. However, there is no designated server. No one came around. I had to chase people down to ask for the check. It was dropped off but no one was available to pay. It appears we were a nuisance. Kitchen staff walked away and mumbled something when I asked for a take out box. Ended walking to the front desk to pay. No one said thank you. I doubt I’ll be returning.

We experienced a lovely time at Grandeur Palace for our wedding reception. Thank you Franco So for helping us organize and orchestrate a huge event. Your hospitality and service was great! Thank you to the waiters and waitresses yesterday who served, cleaned and stayed behind to make the event a success. We all had a great time. Everyone enjoyed the 10 course meat and plated vegetarian meals. We'll be back soon for dim sum.

Ask if we could switch table because our mother was feeling a bit chilly, the server agreed that we can change tables, after we changed tables it took a long while for our dim sum to arrive so we ask to check, they checked, said that he orders were canceled and question us why we didn't tell anyone we chagned tables, mistake were made, that I understand, why blame us and to have that attitude, it was hard to accept

Not professional at all. Order slip throw onto the table or grab from your hand. They need to slow down and focus on their service and not just getting things done.

A nice comfortable Chinese banquet hall, serving Cantonese cuisine and Dim Sum lunch, good quality food and reasonable prices. Nice banquet facilities with ample stage and adequate audio/visual system. A busy neighbourhood hangout for lunch & dinner.

Great spot for dim sum, a huge variety to choose from, all dishes were fresh and delicious! Dim sum dishes range from $4.50-$6.50 a dish depending on the size which is a very reasonable cost.

Dim sum was meh. I was excited to try their layered salty egg cake and molten egg custard buns, but they were both terribly dry and bland.

We tried 3 different steamed crystal dumplings, the wrappers were so thick and doughy you can't even see what filings are inside

We asked for some shrimp sauce to follow with the dish as we had been to other places where the dish had the sauce served.the server had looked directly as our order receipt and proceeded to just say that “I have never heard of that before” in a tone that did not feel nice to hear at all. We have had good experiences with this place two times, but this was unacceptable. You can just say that that is not usually a request or something like that or that you will check if you have any at all, but to say that in a tone that was rude and then to treat us coldly while giving us plates is not acceptable.

First, you have to wait for a long time, and no one issues the number to you to allow waiting in sequence. If you ask any waiters to obtain a number, they seem to be ignoring you on purpose. Second, the food is slow, I have been waiting 1.5 hours and still 2 more things are not there. And when I tried to check out, they took 2 things from the take out desk and gave it to us.

Classic Chinese restaurant, fresh dimsum, helpful staff, with quick pickup and prompt service. All of the food is as expected, but the must-haves include the flour rolls, siu mai, har gow, and spare rib.

Lots of dishes to select from, great value especially if you get the cash-only early discount before 11am (4.50 for S/M/L dishes). No reservations accepted before 11am because of this.

We were seated on the stage area, and it was hard to find wait staff to help us with things like extra cutlery or tea. Food came out a little slower than “normal”, but the food was decent. Managers and wait staff were very friendly though!

This is my family’s #1 choice for Chinese food in The GTA. OMG Peking Duck all day any day without ordering ahead, and it’s amazing. If you like beef? #31 is the best, stir fried beef with mushrooms, I take this over a steak at the Keg any day. #61 Sweet and sour pork, need no description. The service is the best they were friendly from day one. Give it a GO. Oh, did I mention Dim Sum, Everyday until 2pm.

Went for dim sum after a long while and was impressed with service and the food especially price for S/M/L at $3.68 if ordered before 11: 00 am. Everything was very tasty except the har gow - texture was great but had a slight fishy taste.

Went here for dim sum. Been here a few times already. Wait times are the usual for dim sum when you come late (after 10: 30am, line ups usually ensue). Food was good.

Tried this 3 tier platter of different assorment of dim sum items. Believe it was called something along the lines of rich caged assortment.not 100% sure. But it looked great.

Also had the lobster e-fu noodles, which was nice. The lobster was cooked nicely. Not chewy, and had good texture.

Service for us has been good, but one time we did experience what others said about the wait time for the bill. With that in mind, that was about the time they changed ownership as well. All in all, great food, great experience!

Update:

Definitely still a decent place amd a great contender for dim sum restaurants. Taste is average and I find it was much, much better prior to the pandemic. The saving grace for me is that they offer my most favourite item of dim sum which not many places have any more. And that is the thousand layer cake.

Chinese dimsum to 3pm daily, good selections resonable priced, friendly staff, large interior and pleasant decors, parking in plaza but nearby spaces always full, takes credit card, very busy but large so wait times is small

I don't like the seat covers. Almost trip over. Noisy when busy/full. Food was good. Service not quite proactive.

Bbq pork bun and chicken finger was good except egg tart…. Did they changed the egg tart recipes if not …something went wrong…. The dough isn’t flaky and super dry.

Great management. Super attentive staff. Impeccable service. Delicious food. Great price. What else is there to say?

My family frequent this restaurant all the time for both dim sum and dinner dining. Always arriving famished and leaving extremely satisfied.

The lunch rush can be quite busy but they manage the demand well and if sitting in isn't your jam, they currently have a great option with take out for dim sum, individual entrees and family style dishes.

Highly recommended. Must check out if you haven't already. 11/10!

Good quality, clean and followed covid rules. Service was great, food came out quick. There is also seating outside.

Food is okay. Prices have gone up slightly over time during the pandemic. Verify your order before takeout! They messed up my order at least twice when I got back home (one time they gave me more dessert dim sum instead). The front desk ladies only really care about speed and taking your money. Be cautious.

Great Dim Sum until 3 pm. Dinner menu later than 3 pm. Can purchase frozen dim sum to take home as well. Nice big patio. Not answering phones as often for take out orders now that they are open again for in-person dining. Food is great and not too expensive.

The foods are good and the service good also, highly recommend for the Peking duck combo, price reasonable and practical, hope you guys like it.

Food is only okay, though the chicken congee is quite delicious. Service is very curt and even if you come in the late afternoon, they seem to be too busy for you since they have such a busy takeout service.

Food taste reasonably well. They have both lunch or dinner special promotions which may not disappoint you.

First time back for dim sum since a long time, the last visit was when this restaurant took over the venue. It was a Saturday morning and was glad to see the place was full, considering many Chinese restaurants are suffering due to the virus. Food quality very good, must be ranked as the top three in Scarborough/Markham area. Also surprised to see that prices are lowered (compared to last visit based on memory), even has the before 11 am discount for weekend too. Service is also remarkable. The only miss to me is not much varieties to choose from. If they can add a few contemporary dim sum dishes, full marks must be given.

Dim sum brunch was hot, lots of choices. Nevertheless, it was not inexpensive on some choices. Beware.

The BBQ pork and roast pork are great. I ended up ordering a medium sized whole pig roast for an event. The shop was able to accommodate and had the order ready for pick up right on time. It was a hit and one of the first things to be eaten up completely.

It offers DIM SUM, and it has special offer when you place orders before 11 am, all DIM SUM for same price. It's very busy during weekend, so better come earlier to get a table

Very well-lit but it's more pricey than the average if you don't go during the flat-rate early hours. Food quality is excellent; offers great deal for noodle dishes at lunchtime. The left side (partitioned) side is a bit quieter but you might feel a bit claustrophobic due to the lack of windows or natural light there.

Offers many set dinners for groups of various sizes; you can get the detailed menus across the cashier counter.

The washrooms are all the way at the back past the kitchen.

Parking closest to the restaurant (beside BMO) gets filled up almost always.

Very busy during prime times but the place is big enough to accommodate alot of people. Dim sum was adequate.

Decent dim sum place with discounted menu before 11am. (Large/Medium/Small dishes same price). It gets busy on weekends after 11pm. Parking is usually not an issue. The dinner here is pretty good also. Friendly and attentive staff.

We are repeat customers. If I arrive after my wife is seated, staff will point to where they seated her. We like their food. Prices are reasonable. Ambience is good. They have space to support large parties like wedding receptions and can subdivide for smaller parties like birthdays.

Okay Chinese restaurant, not terrible or good either. Just average would I repeat, I would consider other food options in the area first

Acceptable 點心, but leaning on the pricey side. Not difficult to get table at weekend noon time, so that's a bonus.

Food was very very tasty and presentation was great. Food was fresh and service was very quick and helpful. The ambience and decor was very nice and the restaurant itself was clean. Overall, a very good dining experience. My only gripe with this place was the staff were almost too efficient, and we felt a bit rushed. Also, the food was a bit on the pricey side and the portions could be bigger, but overall I was full and satisfied. I'm sure you will be too.

Usual dim sum lunch, edible and acceptable. Stay with regular style like steam buns, fried noodles and light dessert. Lots of parking but may also need to fight for the spot.

We have had our lunch at this restaurant twice for the last three weeks. It was easy to find a table during the lunch hours. Customers could also spend more time there without being hurried by the servers to pay the bill. Meanwhile, although its decoration looked a bit old, the overall setting was comfortable. However, its service and dim sums could only be described as average.

The decor of this restaurant is quite nice. It specializes in Beijing duck. My problem is that they don't seem to use any spices resulting in the duck being quite tasteless. Other restaurants produce a far more flavourful meal.

Great food and great staff! We came at the right time as they are doing a table special for peking duck at $26 half off for a limited time.

Event was planned with Frankie who really took the time to explain everything to us.
On the day of my birthday, Franco and his team did a fantastic job making the dinner feast special. They took the time to serve all my guests and everyone felt taken care of. The food we ordered was great. We will certainly be back for dinner.

We came here to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday the other day, and Franco made our experience very memorable. We all had a wonderful time with great food and would definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you to Franco, and all of the other staff that made my mother-in-law’s birthday so special!

Went for the BBQ take out at the outside window of the restaurant. The two ladies working there were extremely rude, loud and lack of any customer service skills! I got yelled at for asking very simply questions nicely! None of them appreciate their customers and business! I would give a 0 rating if it is available even though the BBQ meat is not bad.

It's the best you'll find in Scarborough but if you go to Markham or Richmond Hill there's definitely better.

Very tasty Chinese food. My in-laws are Chinese and love this place. Beware the portions are huge so order with that in mind.
