They are great with my cat and dog. I never feel like they are trying to sell me a service or product like I felt with so many other vets.
My pets enjoy going there. And the fees are fair.

Update. New ownership a few years ago and I’m not happy with the staff or vet.
I would suggest anyone to take there pets to a different veterinary.

I always have such a wonderful experience here. Dr. Cushing and her team truly care about their clients, and will do anything to ensure you have a positive experience!

Amanda and her team are the BEST. Wonderful and caring. We will not take our family fur babies anywhere else! <3

I have had a mix of experiences with this vet clinic & i would absolutely go out of my way to recommend them to those who ask.
The first visit with my pup was mildly chaotic, due to faults on both ends. After some husbandry work & a chat about the best way to engage with my pup (ie boundaries) the visits are running as smooth as they can with a squirmy puppy.
The Dr is knowledgeable and happy to explain anything and everything in detail when inquired & although the prices may appear a big steeper than other clinics, it is clear that it goes towards the betterment of our pets & towards keeping staff happy.
Everyone is extremely friendly & happy to learn & teach.

Would not recommend this vet to even worst enemy. We typically go to another local vet who are AMAZING with pets and their owners however, we were unable to get an appointment with them for a week and my little guy was in pain. I decided to call Grandview Bloor animal clinic who I got an appointment with the same day (They are clearly not busy for a reason). Brought my cat to the appointment with Dr Cushing she came In the room talked to us for a min, went into the back room with the cat and was not seen again. The next person I talked to was her vet tech. Anyways, after $400 worth of blood work later I was given a quote for $1380 plus pain meds for a full teeth extraction on my cat. Days went by and I had to contact the clinic myself to get my results (apparently everything was good with him) After my cats surgery, I picked him up still under sedation which resulted in him hurting himself more. Dr Cushing's receptionist told me to "keep him calm" and to "put his cone back on" (her professional advice). Dr Cushing charged me $500 to "scale and polish" my cats teeth and then removed them. I am not a vet however, I think I am smart enough to know that there is no point cleaning an animals teeth and then removing them. (maybe she sells cat dentures on the side?) I went back to the clinic the following day to get more clarification on the bill and this charge for teeth cleaning. Dr (if that's what you want to call her) Cushing gaslighted me and my partner and refused to give our money back. They clearly do not know how to draft up a bill or care for animals after surgery properly so how can they be trusted to treat your pets. This woman should be flipping burgers up-selling on a side of gravy not taking care of animals charging people to clean their pets teeth and then extracting them

Thank you for saving our dog annabelles life.
She spent 3 days at the clinic with severe pancreatitis, vomiting and pooing pure blood. Scariest moment of our lives. Constant updates and very quick to admit and start working. Amanda even stayed after hours of her shift after working a full day to wait for us. 2 years later she’s happy and healthy as ever. We can’t thank you and your staff enough

I have used Dr. Cushing when she was a mobile vet and now in her new vet clinic. She has always been amazing and treated my pets like family. Recently in January we had to put our dog to sleep as he was sick. I was comforted by Dr. Cushing and her staff and I am so thankful for all their support through this difficult time! She made one of the hardest days more bearable and was extremely sensitive and supportive and so was her team! I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a great vet! Thank you to all of you for all that you do for our animals! You are so appreciated!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I just had a horrible experience with this clinic. The woman answering the phone was a complete sweetheart. I would give her 5 stars. She let me know that someone would come get me in a moment, I assumed they were dealing with another client. I saw a man standing at the door with paper in his hand, I assumed he was the client. He stood there for about a minute, then opened the door and stood outside. He was dressed in street clothes and a jacket, confirming my assumption that he was a client. Then he looked straight at me waved me over in an annoyed way. I got out of my car and said "Sorry, I wasn't sure if you were a client or here for me" he said well I've got an invoice in my had so. (and I was thinking why would you have an invoice for me before my dog even saw the vet?) I sarcastically said well hard to read from the car. He said well paper and waved it at me. I let it go. He then stated that we were going to START with the invoice. He said it that there is a vet charge, a lab charge and kept rolling up the invoice and un rolling it. Then he asked if I wanted prevention. I said prevention? He said ya you know fleas, ticks that sort of thing. I said we have all of that already. He sarcastically said oh do you. I said it should be on my file, we've been at this clinic for 3 years. He said whatever then reached for my dog and said ok give her to me. I said wait can I see the invoice? He unrolled it and showed it to me. The total was $453.27 I said you want me to pay that much when the vet hasn't even seen my dog yet? He said that is with the prevention which you declined. I said I didn't decline, I said we have some already he said mhmm. I said you know what? I think I'll just take my dog home. He said ok bye and turned and went in the clinic. I have never ever been treated so unprofessionally from some pos who can't even do up his fly.needless to say, my dog has an appointment with another vet tomorrow. I will never go back there again.if this is their idea of professionalism I'd hate to see any thing else.

And you're reply is inaccurate.if I were home, I'd post a pic of the prevention meds we received from your "clinic" and all the invoices from her visits.if that's all you took from my review, it confirms my decision in leaving. Your "staff" should NOT be argumentative with people PERIOD. Whoever the individual was that came out to get my dog needs so.e serious customer service skills.its like he was doing community service hours as part of his sentence in court. 0 human decency, 0 care for his position, 0 personality.my new vet is AMAZING and I will recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you for your generic reply. It was actually way better than the service I received from your employee/free labour via community service

As a new, first time dog owner I was in search of a great vet. Dr. Cushing and her team provided a welcoming, knowledgeable and informative experience with each of our visits. From our first visit, through each of the vaccinations, and with my pups scheduled spay, Dr. Cushing's team has  been amazing! They always make time for all my questions, on the phone or in person. They call the day before each visit and make sure to follow up to see how me and my pup are doing. It's great to know that my pup is in great care with Dr. Cushing and her team. They all truly care about the animals they support and service.

I’ve been taking my dogs and cat here ever since the change of ownership. Before that I used cushing mobile services religiously. I have also worked personally with Amanda and Jeremy and see firsthand how much they care for the animals behind the scenes.

These two and their staff give everything to their business and these animals. The furry clients are treated with so much compassion and respect.

Thank you for helping save my sweet Midge two months ago during our scary autoimmune scare. I am a forever client!

Absolutely the best clinic we struggled with our old vet to figure out why my dog had bad diarrhea, one visit to Grandview Bloor and they figured it out and fixed her up

Amanda and her team are very caring and professional. Very upfront and they take the time to explain things which I love. I am so happy I have found a veterinarian that is so caring and knowledgeable and that I can trust. My dog is so happy when he goes in to see Amanda.

The new owners of this clinic are morons. They over charged me more than $400. I talked to 3 different people about how many teeth my dog had removed. One person said 10, one person said 4, and the third person said 6. If you love your pets, do NOT take them to these people. I had to give this clinic one star to have my post placed but they do not deserve any points. Run for your pets lives.

I have been taking my 2 pugs to see Dr. Prajapati, at Grandview Bloor Animal Clinic for over 4 years now. My male pug suffered from chronic ear infections for years until seeing Dr. Prajapati who suggested preventative medication. He took the time to explain all about preventative care and medication. My pug has had no ear infection for over 4 years. My pug also suffers from seizures, Dr. Prajapati prescribed anti-seizure medication rather then phenobarbital explaining the benefits and side effects. The Dr.and his wife and staff are always available to any questions or concerns I may have. The Dr.always takes his time to explain everything in great detail so I understand what is happening, about medication and treatment options. His focus is on preventative care and education. When my female pug was having difficulty in labour and needed a C-section, Dr. Prajapati and his wife stayed after closing hours to perform her surgery instead of sending me elsewhere. He is also the only Vet I know of that does a recheck on any clients for free when necessary. He always calls to check up on my babies if they have been in for a visit to see how they are doing. His focus is not just on treating the current issue but education and the complete wellness of my babies. He is always up to date on new treatments, medications, wellness, illnesses and preventative care. I was referred to his vet office over 4 years ago by a close friend and Iam so glad I went to see him. My last vet had no interest in the health or well being of my animals, every visit was 2 minutes and nothing was ever explained, alternative or preventative care was never mentioned. Dr. Prajapati truly cares about the animals in his care and their health and well being and not just about the money. He is sensitive to financial restrictions of his clients and because of his interest in the animals well being and long term care has saved me alot of money but more importantly has saved my babies from pain, repeated illness and has improved their overall health and quality of life. My male pugs medication which prevents him from having chronic ear infections costs about 10% of what I used to spend at their previous vet to treat his chronic ear infections. He has not had an ear infection since seeing Dr. Prajapati and more importantly has not suffered the pain and discomfort of having any. I highly recommend Dr. Prajapati, he and his staff are caring, kind, thoughtful and always willing to answer any questions or concerns I have.
