Fantastic doctors. Some of the best and most caring. The receptionists and other staff however need work. Rude, always in a bad mood, if they make a mistake they gaslight you. Been at this office for 39 years. Watched it slowly decline.

Most apathetic, unhelpful facility in Cambridge. I've had a family doctor here for years, who I haven't seen for years because she's never there or available. Every time I call or make an appointment, I receive little to no help whatsoever. I am always polite and respectful, but whenever I do receive some form of assistance from this office, I'm always left with a feeling of being rushed out the door and not exactly tended to or even cared for. Additionally, every nurse or receptionist I've spoken to over the phone always seem to have a pre-existing attitude and even though I remain polite and patient, I am met with many rude and apathetic interactions. Please save yourself the stress and go to a place where people will actually make an effort to help you.

The BEST place for your overall health care. They have a fabulous holistic approach, caring about all areas of your life. These folks never closed during covid and have always provided stellar care. I have lived out of the area for over ten years now and would never leave this team or my doctor.

I've been a patient for 40+ years and recently my entire family has been told as of September we will no longer be patients there
Really convenient after we paid for the renovations for them to become PRIVATE
Dr Maheshwari personally almost killed myself and my daughter with medication
I have severe physical and mental health issues and have dealt with his fill in who also started messing with my meds
I AM filing a lawsuit against Grandview AND the Doctors individually

There is not enough stars even in the sky for Marlaina (I am probably spelling it wrong) Do not get me wrong every single worker at Grandview is OUTSTANDING but Marlaina is an absolute angel. I look forward to calling if I know she will answer. She goes beyond her job. Still to this day have never met her face to face but I know she will have a big smile on her face when I do. I have been a patient of Grandview for over 42 yrs.
Unfortunately, patient care is no longer a priority. I have been trying to get an appointment for 1 month!
Office manager Jeff P does not care at all about patients, and after numerous phone calls over 3 weeks, he finally returned my call. He was extremely rude and dismissive!
I had an amazing doctor, but she left Grandview. Her replacement, Dr Pichna stares right through you, does not listen, does not seem to care at all about his patients, he is only at the office a few hours a week so its impossible to get an appointment. Grandview does not allow patients to switch to other doctors within the office. I have asked for a female doctor (due to my medical needs) as I had 2 previous female doctors, who were both phenomenal and actually cared about their patients. It seems that the doctors that cared have left. Burocracy drama has been allowed by staff to take over this clinic, which has become extremely obvious over the last few years!

The nurse that is working today (Feb 15/23) was very rude and wouldn't let me get out my concern without cutting me off and trying to make me feel stupid. Very unprofessional for someone in her position over the phone. Acting like I was disturbing her. Uncalled for.

I had no issue the this place until today. I waited 10 minutes for my call to be answered and when someone finally answered she was shouting at me and sounded annoyed and I’m deeply offended! She didn’t even wait for me to answer she just hung up the phone!

This practice has gone down hill! Great place to go if your going to die! Dr Chris should loose his license to practice! After repeat visits with odd health problems I was told to go rest! Then the next visit he was off and Dr Im saw me and triaged my ailments immediately and sent me to some specialist for test There I was told I have ALS and your going to die! Any how to this day that pathetic Dr Chris has yet to inquire to how I am!
Dr Im your are an amazing person Dr Chris on the other hand when I’m gone you better hold out your hand because I’m dragging you with me!

I have been a client of theirs ever since I was born and over the past few years their appointment system has tanked. Only continued to go here for so long out of respect for my doctor. The woman that answers the phone is extremely rude. She is the reason I am changing doctors offices. I can no longer rely on grandview for my healthcare needs. Doesn't seem like they care either. Thanks for nothing:). Would strongly recommend NOT going there.

Originally placed a call in december 2021 for serious mental health issues, ignored and brushed off for months now with no solutions or help provided im being told that even if i got a "referral" there is a "months and months long" wait list for mental health help from grandview. When asked for any other options none could be provided.when i lodged a complaint i finally got a call back and told them i now have only a very limited window for appointments with my doctor the best they could do is one month from now.for yet another 20 minute appointment that may or may not end up with a referral or anything else even remotely helpful.if they had gotten me a referral/prescription with my original call (2-3 months ago) who knows where i would be now.it is worth noting that this is with a new doctor they have hired here and i have never had issues with my prior doctor, who unfortunately left.

Dr. Alexandra Pennell is my family doctor, and I couldn't be happier with the clinic. All the staff are very professional and helpful. I've always been able to book an appointment in a timely manner, and have been great offered options when my GP is unavailable. Sometimes the wait time calling in is long, BUT THAT'S TO BE EXPECTED. THEY'RE A BUSY CLINIC AND IT'S A PANDEMIC. A big thank you to everyone who deals with all the cranky patients.

I’ve been a patient here for 30 yrs and until this year I was seriously thinking of changing doctors offices. I might add not due to the doctors because their great but due to the policies when appointments are booked, lack of parking and lack of personality amongst the receptionists. However this year they changed everything and are expanding receptionists are completely different. Great job Grandview, keep up the good work

I hurt my back and have now spent the week waiting for call-backs and to talk to a physician to get a prescription for the pain. I have been told by various people at Grandview that there is nothing that can be done even though I have been a patient for many years. The service on the 'phone is simply abominable. I was caller #5, finally got through and was cut off!

It's a good doctor's office, if you can actually get a hold of someone. Like this is seriously so ridiculous. You would think after years and years of never being able to reach the appointment desk that they would hire another friggin receptionist or something. You can call ANY time of the friggin day and you are guaranteed to have a wait time. It's 2pm in the afternoon on a friggin Tuesday and there are 13 callers ahead of me. Figure it the heck out and hire another friggin phone person? I don't understand why they have yet to fix such simple problems!

I love my family doctor Shazia Alavi and other doctors I have seen and some of the staff but I think the service of the clinic should be improved. You call for an appointment, they tell you to call the nurse later on to see the evening doctor. You stay on the line for more than 30 minutes only to be told they are full. Then they make a phone call appointment with my doctor for next day. The music you have to listen to for such a long time is just horrible. Very dissapointed, I won't call again after hours.

My family doctor is at this clinic.
The clinic itself overall is decent and I do like my family doctor when I get the opportunity to actually see him. The phone service is atrocious. The people in charge of phones and booking appointments really need to be retrained. The attitude is appalling. They are always rude and make you feel like you're the biggest inconvenience of their day when you call.

Unreal. I've had high blood pressure for five days. I called last week for an appointment and after holding forever to even get them to answer the phone, was told the earliest was "next week on Monday for a phone appointment". Fine. She then asks, "do you feel like you can wait until then? ". Well, I don't know. I've never had high blood pressure. Do you think I can wait? She then says "maybe you should speak to the nurse. I then wait on hold forever once again. The nurse ask the usual questions and says I better send the doctor a message. One of us will call you back. That was last week. Haven't heard from anyone. No messages left for me, no calls answered by me. Nothing. And the scheduled appointment by phone, never happened either. So not only did they not call back last week like they said, they also didn't call for the prearranged appointment time. And they wonder why the hospital emergency department is full all the time. So, still with high blood pressure for one week now. What good is free health care when it's not available? Side note: I really like the doctor I have there. But this facility is poorly managed with poorly trained staff. And maybe understaffed even. Look at the reviews. Someone needs to step up and revamp this place.

If i could give Dr. Misra a zero star i would. Upon making requests to have certain tests done considering MY HEALTH he refused to write a requisition. He took over for Dr. Monkhouse who literally delivered me so I had him for 35 years. Very unimpressed by our first interaction and will be looking for a new family Dr.

My original doctor retired and Dr. Misra took over and I couldn’t be happier! The reception staff can be hit or miss but I’ve never had an issue with any of the doctors or nurses. Very kind and give a high level of care!

I have been a patient here my whole life. Recently I have taken ill and needed their services more consistently than ever.
It took a MONTH to fill out a page of paperwork at their office, after emailing it in to them and following up several times it was finally completed. I was then told that even though they can email, I must go physically into the office, during a pandemic, to retain said paperwork.
However, that was not the breaking point.
After booking an appointment 3 weeks ago now, the day came and went when I expected the doctors call and I waited on hold for 20 minutes the next day looking for an explanation as to why my appointment was missed. Whomever I spoke to originally those weeks ago did not submit my appointment. When I asked to be prioritized because it was their error not mine, I was firmly told it cannot be done. They can’t amend their own error? I was told to call back EVERY DAY and hope for an opening as my best bet. The last few appointments I have had, they refuse to even give me a rough estimate of the time frame the doctor will call (I.e morning, afternoon, evening). I was told “people get upset when the doctor doesn’t stick to it”.
So I have wasted entire days waiting by my cell phone for a doctors call, as they cannot provide the simplest customer service effort of a rough time-frame estimate for a call to be expected.

Currently I am waiting on MORE paperwork and the recipients of said paperwork are getting tired of excuse after excuse while I hunt these people down to do the basics of their job. Not to mention the fact that in the last 2/3 months the soonest appointments have been weeks out.

Absolutely deplorable administrative service in all aspects. Furthermore, it appears their technology is stuck in 1995, which is ridiculous considering the fees I’ve paid to them for simple things.

I have been searching for a new doctor since, and hope to be off their patient list ASAP. I strongly advise against this office. You will receive nothing but sub par service and be treated like a moronic inconvenience.

Updated to say that Dr. Sefin who replaced Dr. Trudell is absolutely amazing, he always listens to my concerns and makes sure I feel comfortable.

To explain my one start rating; The nurses and counter staff are rude/standoffish. I understand this is not a customer service position but you should at least treat your patients with basic respect. I truly can't believe this kind of behaviour is acceptable in this setting.

It does not seem that Grandview Medical's certain employees are not very courteous in patient treatment. I am super disappointed with this office and am not surprised it has such low ratings.
The neglect is absolutely ridiculous. Time to find a new office!

Dr. C is very rude and constantly talks down to his younger patients during appointments. My partner and her sibling leave feeling discouraged and unheard. Unfortunately it is difficult to find a new doctor but we are certainly trying. Dr. C tells his patients to never go to a walk in clinic because it affects HIS pay! I would suggest avoiding this self serving man.

I was able to get my son into the after hours clinic, the day I needed it. It saved me having a child with a double ear infection waiting 2 hours in a walk in. We arrived at the appointment and was seen within 15 minutes.

I have been going to this doctors office since I was 2 years old. Dr. Main is an amazing doctor and has helped me so much with my health issues, always listens to my concerns, and goes above and beyond. My experience tonight with the on call dr, Dr. Walker was amazing. She took the time to listen and do a thorough examination of my son and actually done something about my son being sick. My son was sick for 4 weeks and Dr. Walker took the time to listen and help me with my son and finally gave my son some prescriptions to help with his sickness. I wanted to cry and hug her. The nurse that was also working tonight was so helpful and nice, and I am sorry I couldn't get your name but I would like to thank you for the amazing service as well! Keep up the amazing service!

I absolutely love my doctor. Dr. Walker is very personable and addresses your concerns right there and then. I use to have Dr. Russek and I loved him too. The reason for the poor star rating is for the administration and nursing staff who are always very rude and not helpful at all. Left work early to pick up a requisition only to be told I had to wait until 1 pm for nurse to sign. I was NOT told this over the phone just told it was ready to be picked up. Lost time at work and missed another appointment waiting to pick up the form. No apologies just the clerk closing the window.

I have been a patient here my whole life. My doctor retired and they hired Dr. Gupta to take his place. He is a wonderful caring doctor. So glad hes at grandview and we ended up with him. He takes care of my children and I with real care. Absolutely best doctor. Explains everything to me and he actually cares to get to the bottom of our symptoms when i see him. Great Doctor.

My doctor is wonderful (Maheshwari) however when you call in to the nurse station, or referral clerk.be prepared for them to be down right rude, and not helpful in the slightest bit. I would give higher stars if this was only a review about my doctor. Unfortunately, you deal more with the office than your doctor, and they are terrible.

and sent me to the emergency hospital and arranged with them

Ive been a patient here since i was born, this place has certainly gone downhill! Went in having serious chest pain and was giving physio and massage therapy without any further testing to see what the issue even is. Very concerned that MOST not all doctors are more concerned with getting the patients in and out than actually getting to the bottom of the problems. I also had other concerns that wernt even addressed! I highly recommend going to a different doctors office if you arnt already a patient here.

Called for an appointment for my son this morning at 8: 00 when phone lines opened. Had to wait for 5 minutes. By 8: 10 am I had an appointment scheduled for 2 days later with my family doctor. Have also had a lot of luck getting in the same day after 4 pm with the after hours clinic. Dr. Aurora is amazing and is always thorough and caring with his patients. I have had nothing but good experiences here.

Just applied for life insurance and was told to contact my doctor immediately about concerns they found in my blood. I gave it 2 days and call naturally and grand view said they havnt received any faxes since last January for any patients. I was concerned for my health and asked if I should have more blood taken and the staff told me the doctors won't do anything until they know what to look for and hung up

Getting a proper INR req.for my husband to take out of town was a disaster. I had to make all sorts of phone calls to get an INR req.to use, and make a second 1/2 hour trip to the lab there once the correct req.was faxed to them. My husband had made a special trip to Grandview to get the req.in the first place, and it was WRONG. Not impressed.

I have been going to this clinic for 15 years. The only reason we stay is because we love Dr. Walker. The staff and nurses are less then helpful and consistently rude. The changes they made to the "on call" doctor is completely useless when trying to book an appointment for our kids when they are actually sick. We end up at the walk in more often then not. If not for Dr. Walker we would be looking elsewhere.

I had been a patient at Grandview medical over 35 years and in all that time, only once, did I hear what sounded to me as a curt response from a receptionist. I figured she was just having a bad day, just as anyone can on occasion. As for Dr. Sunjay Gupta, I found him to be caring, compassionate, and he would explain how Atrial fibrillation works, or other medical issue, so that I could have a better idea of what I was dealing with. He did not stare at the computer screen while speaking but sat facing me. I knew he had my best health interests at heart and I have much respect for him. He is a very good doctor and I have always been very comfortable with him. I no longer live in the region so I have no choice about having to get a new doctor even though Dr. Gupta was willing to keep me as his patient. I have just found a new doctor in the Halton Region and he seems very nice and I expect, and hope, I will be as comfortable with him as I was with Dr. Gupta. I think I probably will as I get to know him. I have only met him once so far. I appreciate all doctors for their long hours, not just in the clinic, but in the hospital, time for CME's, and their paperwork they must do. We only see them in the office. We do not know most of the other obligations they have to fulfill. They also have families they want to share time with. In my opinion, these days they are the worst treated by the government and the Canadian Medical Association of Physicians and Surgeons. They need our prayers, not our criticism. God bless them all!

This is the most incompetent doctor's office I have ever been to. The nurse at the front desk is rude and honestly not helpful. The system the have for communication between nurse and doctor is unrealiable, slow and a waste of time. I have been waiting for over a week for the doctor to respond to a message so I can get blood work for a job. Today I went to a walk-in clinic for that because the doctor still didn't reply to a nurse message. Ever single time I go here it a problem! AVIOD AT ALL COST!

If I could give zero I would. It seems that I'm not the only one who has had issues with prescriptions not being re-filled. Sent a prescription in in October to renew my birth control pill so it was ready for me in November. Stood at the pharmacy and WATCHED the lady send my request for refills out and get the confirmation. I went this weekend (Now NOVEMBER) to go pick up my prescription that should have been re-filled a month ago only for the pharmacy to tell me that they did not receive a refill. Called Grandview only to deal with one of the RUDEST people I have EVER dealt with (some British Nurse) And for her to tell me it's MY fault and my responsibility. As far as I'm concerned I held up my end of the deal A MONTH AGO. After all of this Dr. Mizra left a snarky message for me saying how I should "keep on top of things". The nurse also told me my pharmacy LIED to me when I had PROOF that the request went through on their end. I have been dealing with this kind of garbage from this clinic for twenty-five freaking years. There's no wonder why they have such a bad reputation and every pharmacy I've went to just laughs when I say I'm with Grandview. I work in telecommunications, and if I talked to someone the way that nurse spoke to me today, I'd be fired. Grandview Medical Center doesn't take responsibility for ANY of their actions and thinks it's ok to be rude to their patients. This may actually be the breaking point to finding a new clinic, and going through the effort of finding a new family doctor because this is just unbelievable.

Great Doctors, Previously was with Dr. Tom Samuelcheck (probably did not pronounce his last name right) he is retired now, but was EXCELLENT, and now with Dr. Davis, he is as good as his previous colleague.

I was a patient at Grandview for 20 years with Dr Alix Young.

She was retiring and was unable to provide a replacement and all of her patients were tossed out of The Grandview Practise telling us to find a different Dr in a different practice. I felt abandoned
like thrown out like the trash

We were asked to pay $50 for our medical records. I
I sent a cheque the next day

On Oct 29/18 I picked up records and was told that my money would be refunded and thus far I have not recieved the $50.

I found the whole incedent unprofessional and disrespectful.

I still feel disrespected and want my money back

I hope by posting this that the story gets noticed
and I get an apology and the money that was a strain on my OAS limited income.
