The base boards in these apartments having roaches living in them so be extra clean with things getting under there and make sure kill them before they spawn
Literally you can see them in the base of a crack in the heating board crazy!

I have been living here at 165 Queen Street South, Hamilton, Ontario, Qresidential, since 2018. No one informed me of Bedbugs or Cockroaches upon moving in. The first day I moved in I saw a cockroach in my unit. Since 2018, I have had continual treatment for bedbugs. Bringing these issues to the Regional manager, Claire, she replies, "then move out".
In my unit, I have had a lot of bedbugs. So much so that in 2019 they nested in my expensive vintage sofa I had to get rid of it. I buy a bedbug mattress encasement every 6 months. Odd cockroaches would appear from the hallway or another unit. Today, 2022 July, I found 3 cockroaches. 1 out on the balcony and 2 inside. 1 was a baby cockroach. I am on the 15th floor. I mostly see the cockroaches down in the main lobby, communal room, and fitness room. Staircases always have garbage. Cora and the new staff have since "forgotten" 4 times now to come to treat my unit for insects. Asking to speak with Claire the Regional manager, you are ignored. Ask why they do not treat your unit or do any maintenance, you are ignored. So many emails were ignored and still are! I also have a maintenance list since 2019 that needs fixing. I am constantly calling City Hall, Bylaw and Fire prevention as the staff and owner here at Qresidential/ GrandviewTower don't care. DO NOT MOVE HERE –165 Queen Street South or 145 Bold Hamilton Ontario

The person who gave me a viewing of an apartment was very helpful and friendly. The place itself seemed uncomfortably small and in dire need of renovation.

Just recently moved out of this apartment. The place and new management, are both disgusting. My apartment along with my whole floor had roaches. It was sprayed when the previous landlord was there but then it got worse. Cora, the new landlord, on August 31st charged after me while I was still trying to move all my stuff out which I had zero help with, demanding the keys and saying legally I was supposed to be out of there. She said she has been calling and leaving messages which is a lie because I am the one that has been calling and leaving messages. Cora was very rude and disrespectful, and very unprofessional. I did my research I know I had till September 1st to leave the apartment. She then continued to harass me by calling saying its after 3 and she doesn't have the keys. I had to leave so much of my things behind because of her bad behavior. I made sure that I took pictures of what I cleaned and left behind because she was rushing me. Once I went into her office and provided the keys she started acting very sarcastic with me saying the place better be spotless. She asked what I cleaned, I advised that I cleaned the fridge, the bathroom and on top of the stoves. I told her because of my health issues, I did not do the drawers or cupboards, nor the oven because that is where the roaches are and I'm asthmatic. She asked why I never said anything and they could have had it treated. I reminded her of the email I sent to her which stated the issue. This woman had the nerve to say I might get charged for not cleaning. I had to throw away my expensive sofa because of those roaches and she wants to charge me? Cora you poor delusional fool.if you're reading this, just know I am the best tennat anyone could have. I am quiet, kept to myself, and always paid my rent on time. Sometimes I paid it before the first of the month. The previous management team that was there before you came along would say the same thing. Before you go around bullying your tennants Cora, do some research first because I continued to pay my rent on time inspite of that roach issue you dingbat.

Son rented an apartment halfway through the month, and had to wait to move in for them to spray for roaches (said that was the first they had heard of roaches in the apartment.there are alot so I don't think that's true)
The entire building needs to be bug bombed for every kind of bug, disgusting.

Stealing Happens in this building. Management do not care about this. My amazon package get stolen within 40-50 mins after get delivered. Recently moved in this building in 1 month i faced 2 times stealing.

Worse place in Hamilton each week at least 4 mattress tossed outside in see through containment area every week. This means entire building infested with bed bugs & cockroaches. Managers are useless & mouthy just want old people on street so they can sell to someone new same problems double the price.
