Gravenhurst YMCA

The facility is very clean and modern, with friendly and attentive staff. Main points of criticism are the locker rooms, which feel outdated and small, but are usable. And the equipment, or lack of equipment. There is only a single flat barbell bench and a single squat rack, along with 2 standing cable pulleys.

I‘ve been training with YMCA Trainer, Matt Vaughan this summer and am very impressed by his deep knowledge and experience as well as his effective coaching style. Ive worked with a number of trainers rank him among the very best I’ve worked with. The Y gym is a new and well-equipped gym with both free weights and machines. Staff is super friendly and place is clean and well maintained. So if you are looking for a good gym with an excellent trainer, connect with Matt at the Gravenhurst Y.

Great place to go work out or for a swim, could have more days open for family or open swim

Awesome facility in the heart of Muskoka! The gym is great and the fitness centre has everything you need. Huge pool, and one of the few YMCAs with an ice pad!

Great place to have parties at! Can rent rooms washrooms clean! Good parking easy to get to!

You can never play basketball there’s always a different sport or it’s 3-9 so you basically get an hour to play basketball and upstairs doesn’t have any machines they just have the basic ones. The employees are very bad. Plus the vending machine is 5 dollars for a drink.

Wonderful facility & fantastic instructors. Yes they could use more help…they advertise all the time. Fees are worth every penny!
