Disappointed that the completely wrong shoe was delivered - their e-commerce customer service has been very responsive, and we are still working to resolve the return package. They were responsive to the return, and they resolved my issue. Thank you to the whole team.

Walked in when the store was practically empty. All the staff were in their own corner doing something not offering to help. Waited around 10 minutes and left after no one even said hi. This was middle of the day Saturday in a time they’re not even busy

I ordered from their website Veja sneakers that I could not find in store in Montreal. They sent me the tracking number once my order was ready to be shipped and I received my shoes within 8 business days. Great service, thank you!

Super cute shop with one floor for shoes and one for clothes. Nicely curated - beautifully made clothing. Lots of Marimekko and a variety of smaller high end brands. Come to splurge on timeless pieces.

Gravitypope is one of my go-tos in for clothes and shoes in the city. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. And, hot tip, be sure to check out their website as there are so many more items you can order to be shipped to your home or to the store for easy exchanges/returns. A truly excellent selection of quality shoes and boots. This has been one of my favorite places to buy shoes for the last decade. I will continue to travel into town to shop here. My last visit I also found the customer service to be particularly curteous, attentive and helpful as I ordered in a larger size of the Camper Peu boots from their Calgary location.

Went in to look at selection of casual wear shoes, discovered a great selection of print socks a wide array of colors n prints. Combed cotton. The line of clothing changes, and rarely would.one be disappointed. I'd suggest the store, and will return. Sales assoc's were quite upbeat and helpful but not pushy. A welcomed experience.

As a young working woman, I rarely delve outside of the thrift store these days to purchase anything for myself, though I’m glad something pulled me into the store this past week when I was in the city for an appointment. I thought I would just be killing time walking around, but wound up having an awesome conversation with Danielle and left with something for myself for the first time in legitimate years. She made me feel like I was welcome and belonged there, something rare in many Toronto shops. I was so stoked to have her helping me out and am excited to hopefully return and see her again before Christmas!

I came in today to purchase another pair of Repettos. While I was sad that my shoes were not in stock, I experienced lovely customer service by Cole.

Cole was so friendly, informative, and attentive - going so far as to check company wide inventory if they had my desired colour/style in my size. On top of the prompt service, Cole had a lovely disposition and I will happily come back to purchase my shoes from Cole when they are restocked ️

Kudos to the staff. I was here on a busy day, yet I was attended to and helped with a smile.

Special mention to Michael. He was very helpful and patient finding me the right size of boot. Sometimes it's difficult finding the perfect fit of anything goodyear welted, so I commend him on his patience!

Excellent customer service and products. Jules helped me order a specific colour of Camper sandals from a West coast location that are not carried in store in Toronto. I received a timely phone call to alert me to their arrival in store. I was able to communicate well with staff to postpone my pick up date. Sam helped me when I arrived in store to try on and pay for my sandals. He cleaned them (as they had some black marks on them possibly made by a previous customer trying them on). I was able to use my West Queen West BIA anycard gift card. All in all, highly recommended. Lots of comfortable seating.

I have been a customer at Gravity Pope Toronto for over 10 years now. I have to admit that my experience today was the best i’d ever had. I had the whole team help me, Jeremy was as always amazing upstairs with clothes (love Labo Art) and then Sam, Giulz and Jess gave me the most amazing service downstairs. I will be back and refer customers to them. Thank you guys for making it so fun to shop!

I love this store and some employees are super nice and cool but I swear the super tall ginger person always has an attitude and doesn’t even say hi + dirty looks all around. Been here multiple times and it’s always the same!

Shocked to see multiple reviews dating way back even talk about the same overall poor customer service situation. Can agree than 4+ employees were just happily chatting at the cashier table while I was clearly eager to make a purchase and needed help.

I'm so torn because I like the selection but the staff is so hit or miss. One time I asked to see something from the window display and the person couldn't be bothered. I think I stood at the front counter for quite a while then a really nice woman helped me get exactly what I needed. Sometimes you're greeted nicely sometimes I'm completely ignored even if I need help. It's weirder that this isn't the only review they have mentioning their service but they haven't done anything to fix it.

No product knowledge, appaling customer service. Nothing quite like being snickered at by the staff because they can't answer a question?

Bought my red wing shoes here online at 20%. Lovely store with great products. I hope to buy shoes and other items from here in the future. They also have wolverine shoes. People who don't know about good year welt shoes, here is your chance to start.

Sometimes the customer is wrong, makes mistakes and completely screws up the size of their spouses feet! I did that, and in fairness she did tell me the size and somehow here feet have shrunk. Anyway, being all online and during Covid lockdowns, it is hard to get the right size and exchange.just logistically. But the folks at Gravitypope not only responded to my idiocy very quickly, they went above and beyond to resolve the issue. And while I will not waste their time any more and wait to go into the store once we can so she can try them on, look forward to getting the right size being a loyal customer. It was my first purchase, trying to shop my local businesses in Toronto and will definitely go back. You guys deserve to grow, be successful and make money. From one retailer to another BRAVO!

Ordered 5 pairs of shoes online from them only to be informed a week later they only had 2 of the actual shoes. So hard to support a local company. Cancelled my order because of the high shipping charge wasn't worth it for a couple of pairs. Bought similar shoes for the same price direct from the manufacturer. Would not recommend their online website. Don't waste your time

Very flippant and rude treatment from employee after waiting our turn in line to enter the store. The employee flicked their hands at us and said to come back tomorrow, turning on their heel and sweeping back into the store. I have had very easy experiences waiting in lines and observing Covid safety measures at other businesses where I was made to feel valued and in comradery with both business owners and patrons alike. Being treated so unnecessarily rude, truly ZERO reason to speak to us like that, no thanks for us patiently waiting, no explanation of where the line needed to be cut off in anticipation of the store closing in 1/2 hour, just snooty mean girl vibes, was frankly upsetting. Being shoo’d away like pigeons. Seriously? ! Order your shoes online or from another vendor vs subjecting yourself to receiving this kind of treatment.

The vibe and look of the place is just awesome. The kicks themselves are great too with good selection.but the staff could use some training in customer service. Ultimately, I didn’t buy anything because of that.

I had a terrible experience here. Without going into all the details, I wanted to do an exchange for a Christmas gift that I got for someone that didn't fit and the staff were completely unhelpful and borderline rude. Instead of giving good customer service and trying to work with me on an over $300 purchase they left me feeling like I was not a valued customer and totally unsatisfied. I wish I had purchased the gift somewhere else like Little Burgundy (awesome service there!) and believe me I won't make the mistake of shopping here ever again.

Was a bit disappointed. Staff won't do a fitting and can't talk about different widths etc. I went somewhere else because I needed to discuss fit.

If you are selling shoes at $275, at least put in some effort for service. Being in the store for 20 mins, I was clearly needing help, 5 sales people on the floor either talking to each other, or standing there doing nothing. To make it worse when a group of white customers came in, they suddenly started to asking them do they need hep finding something. Great, if you don’t want money other than whites people, I am buying shoes somewhere else’s.

Associates do not understand the products well enough and they for some reason have a holier-than-thou vibe, which is very off putting. Unsure the reason behind their behavior because the brands carried in the store are in all honesty pretty ordinary.mid-tier products, at best. Not a high end store by any stretch of the imagination. True high end would be something like LP, BC, or a very high end bespoke operation (none of these in Canada however). Not optimistic with regards to future prospects given systemic old stock that can't be sold and the lowest level of "customer service".

Great selection but some of the shoes are a little pricey. The store manager, Nigel, was excellent - knowledgeable, friendly, patient.

Horrible staff! My fiancé and i were not greeted even though there were like 5 people working.on a monday morning! We walked around for a bit but it just felt awkward.i could hear them talking loudly about their weekends- incredibly unprofessional.don’t work in customer service if you don’t want to talk to people.

Commuted over on my lunch break to pickup a pair of shoes I called to put on hold - only to be told they couldn’t find them.
I felt bad for the guy who had to tell me this as I was obviously pretty angry about the waste of my time. But why would you ever agree to hold something if you don’t have the item in hand when you take a customers information.
Also, cheers for not taking my phone number so you couldn’t call to tell me they couldn’t be found.

Super helpful staff every time I've been in! Different people have gone above and beyond on different occasions to bring in my size if their store is sold out. Great selection every season!

The store itself is great and full of cool merchandise, but the sales associates leave much to be desired. No greeting, no offering to help, nothing. They act and talk like they are the most important people in the store. Went to a much smaller store “Lost and Found” after GP and received much better service (did not buy anything, just browsing). Will never spend a dime at GP. You can find what they sell elsewhere.

Great selection of shoes you wouldn't otherwise find anywhere else. This is the only store in Canada that sells women's Church's shoes. Great service.

The staff is generally helpful and they’ve got cute and obscure brands that are harder to find at other shops.

I’ve shopped at Gravity Pope since my undergrad days - in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and now Toronto. Awesome shoes and great clothes you won’t find other places. With helpful staff and a beautiful store, what more could you ask for? Oh, and it’s all Canadian.

The biggest shoe store I’ve ever been in but unfortunately not accessible to her in the wheelchair.

They carry great quality brands such as MOMA and Officina Creative. Expensive but very well made shoes.
