I was at the cash this young girl was so rude about when I asked her about price of a product.when I asked her what up with the attitude she said I am doing my job if u don't like it don't come here.at the same time a girl in front of me was treated with respect

Not much of a deal on anything. I inquired about a product and offered a reasonable price for it and the owner. Kevin has poor attitude. We used to come here quite a bit when it was reasonable and you could do a bit of dickering, but this guy is just an idiot

Went to Grays Auction today with my family for the first time, after moving to the area about a month ago. Was told it was a great place to get deals. So we were looking forward to it. But after being spoken to by the man at the door with such great disrespect we were left feeling terrible. Our 10 year old daughter was confused and kept asking if that man talked to everyone that way or was it just us. In the end, we did not make our purchases because we were too upset to stay. Unsure if this is a place we will go to again.

Everytime i go there which is about once a month. They have a whole store full of new stuff to go through. They have a very helpful and courteous staff. It is definitely worth a look.

This place has quite the variety of items. Toys, house cleaners, clothing, car accessories, furniture, etc. There is some organization throughout, it could be improved though when it comes to the clothing section. All the clothes are dumped into bins that you dig through. Now it might have been organized when it's put out, then maybe customers leave a mess.but otherwise it's worth checking out. Didn't leave with much but was pleased with the pricing. Yes, most items are from Costco, and just like any place you need to know your prices. Just because it's a liquidation place doesn't mean everything is under $50, and doesn't mean it's always going to be cheaper. I always come here when I'm in the area to see what kind of deals you can get. Overall I recommend checking it out.

Great place to get good deals and a large variety of items from tools to furniture to flooring all good sales.

I gave it 1 star because I cant give it zero. The owner and staff are rude and racist. They continually yell loudly at people, and I saw several people leave in tears. I will never be shopping here again. If you want to be treated with respect, go anywhere else. This place sucks.

Waiting 30 min to get in, only to be told I couldn’t bring my 4 month old baby in with me! Very disappointed

Hadn't been to Gray's Auction for about a year but decided to go yesterday, managed to get in and shop around. Out of the blue there was yelling at a customer for taking too much time shopping, (30 minute limit), I have never witnessed anything like it, the customer was being chastised like a child, I heard this will not happen again being yelled at the customer! This is unacceptable, despicable behavior, no person should have to go through that while doing Christmas shopping or any other time. Customers were upset, heard words that I won't repeat. I left at that time, noticed a staff member coming up to my cart (breaking the six foot rule they are trying to enforce) There are no children allowed but the customers are treated like children. I won't be back.

First of all. These people will tell you to leave children in freezing cars because they think their covid policy surpasses that of public health. They will scream at you, try and degrade you for daring to bring a 6 month old child in and let’s be honest: EVERYTHING in there is damaged or open box Costco stuff at the same price. There are no deals. Steer clear of this place. They run it like an SS training camp. Sickos

I never experienced such a bad customer service. OMG. If you spend more than 30 minutes in the store, the owner will kick you out and you will not be able to buy anything that you have chosen. MAKE SURE YOUR TIMER IS SET FOR 30 MINUTES OR ELSE THE OWNER WILL START SWEARING AT YOU. Very rude owner. Never go to this place.

Let the buyer beware! Yes, a lot of what the negative reviews say are true. However, if you are going there looking for best friends or drinking buddies. Then forget it! There are some deals to be had. Yes, you should know your pricing. Yes, there are scratch and dents. And yes, there are open food product. Check the items over. Testing if they are electric. But in today's age? Pull out your smart phone And check the prices online. After all we are going here looking for deals! So if something is to open. Too damaged! Priced normal retail or above, Then leave it. It won't sell. And they will have to get rid of it. Go in with your eyes wide open. And be knowledgeable! As for the staff including the owners. I personally have never had a problem with them! Anyone who has Maybe it's your approach.

Its hard to describe either a positive or negative on this place. There is a lot of great deals, but there is also a lot of rip offs. Cannot emphasize enough that you NEED to look things overly thoroughly/test things and research prices before buying. This place is all about money money.

I first went there 25 years ago. The owner is still condescending and rude as ever. Asked about a bathroom for my wife and he actually got angry and gave me some sob story. Once you leave with your purchase don't even think about returning it. Some things are deals but some stuff is same price or higher than the stores. Check everything out carefully because everything is either returned or unable to be sold in regular retail. Bring your own basket or carrier because there are not many carts to go around

Selling junk for retail prices. The dad yells like a mad man. The daughter is not friendly. The son is a cattle header of people in check out. The mom very very quiet. Money money money
You can’t return stuff. You need to really really need to check the goods over. The food if opened is taped shut. Health and safety people! All this stuff has been returned to Costco for one reason or another or damaged freight. Or clear out items that just didn’t cut it. I find less and less I want to spent huge dollars on at this location. Buy direct. It’s worth it and a better atmosphere.

Visited this past weekend after a year or so excited to see what was available. I haven't had the best experiences in the past but thought I would try again. I picked up an outdoor pillow and when I got to the till I noticed it had a bunch of stains on it. I asked if it was possible to be discounted. The associate behind the desk exclaimed that I am sure it could be wiped down but we wouldnt do that here. She also stated that it wasn't up to her to discount or to offer one. Normally that is where you would ask for assistance but she proceeded to ask if I wanted it or not and hurry me along. Great customer service. As a local I have heard about poor customer service lately and won't be rushing back.

Interesting product selection. Mix of everything. Some items were still pricey not what you expect for a liquidation sale. It was busy today, lots of empty aisles: (all the staff were friendly and helpful though not much to see. Will try to visit again to see if it's different next time as we heard there are great deals on good products here.

I go to Grays once or twice a month. Some very good deals.
Some things aren't the best deal but it saves me a trip to the city.

Bought a Tractor and Trailer Lego set and only the pieces for the Trailer were in the box. Very disappointed.

OK, let ME tell you why there are negative reviews.for the liquidation store. We did not go to the auction. (I worked my way through University working in retail, so I have some idea how it should be done well.)

This store sells stuff that Costco did not sell OR that was returned by Costco customers. So the prices should be really low, right? Well, we spent an hour there and most everything seemed like it was 40-50% too expensive. Some of the toys were maybe 25% less than new but often the packaging was damaged. NOTE: a friend says the best deals sell out early on Fridays. Arrive well before 9am and wait in line.

And a lot of the products have no box.who is going to pay $459 for a nice microwave oven, without a box, at a liquidation store that is like a barn. Shop around and you can get the same one, perhaps for less money, elsewhere, with the box, no risk of problems, returns/exchanges allowed.etc.

AND there better not be problems since the signs make it clear there are NO EXCHANGES or Returns. "Oh, great, so this expensive microwave was probably returned by someone because it did not work properly, OR was it a demo model.hmm, I want to take a risk on that? At the price they want for it? " No. (I suppose the manufacturer's warranty is still applicable, but who knows for sure?)

OK, there are some items that are a not a bad deal. After an hour we left with three things: A giant bottle of laundry detergent, a giant bottle of liquid hand soap, and an $8 top for my wife. None of it was a fabulous deal, but less than you might pay at a regular store, when that item is not on sale.

There is also a lot of stuff there that seems scratched or dented; I doubt that stuff will ever sell.oh, maybe if they cut the price of it by 70%. Then they sell boxes of wood flooring but for some of the types, they had only one or two boxes of the same kind. What am I going to use that for? A tiny bathroom or a closet? Even the one type that was in good supply, I don't know if there was enough cover our living room.

You really need to know your prices to determine if something is expensive, a good deal, or a bargain. My wife and I found few things that were priced at less than a store might sell them when they had a 25% Off sale, (Or amazon.ca).

The food items looked quite old; I would want to check the Best Before Date for sure!

But hey, the cashier was friendly and they accept credit and debit cards. We did not interact with other staff. There is enough free parking at least when there is no auction going on.

I don't know why all the negative reviews on this place. It's great! You do need to go in knowing what to expect. Check electronics, food items etc before buying.it is meant to be a place that sells items that are like scratch and dents or end of sale items that were previously sold at costco. You can get some amazing deals! People get a little nuts and it is usually really busy but again, know to expect that, be patient and you really can find some amazing items. Take the time to plug things in and try them before leaving the store.

Prior I have been rushed through the til and yelled at like we are cattle or wild animals. The cashier so carelessly raced through cashing me out she charged me 10.25 for a 1.25 bottle of liquid bleach. Tonight took the cake. I went to purchase a few items this evening and told by cashier by a Marion that Kim isn't here so they refuse my Indian status card. As I was leaving without the items I seen the man whom tagged my large item I was to purchase that I won't be taking the item bc my tax card wouldn't be honoured and an elderly man named "Barry" sitting on a chair beside him said no we won't take you card ever because my cheekbones aren't high enough to be indian and accused me of using a fake Indian status card. Then said if I was real Indian I should be living on a reserve and won't ever take my card unless I live on a reserve. Then asked to see my address as proof. Why? Why in the world would I ever allow my address to be seen by an obvious racist? ! Disgusted by the racism at this business. I will be reporting the incident to the BBB. Won't ever step foot in this place again. Won't support RACISTS! Will You?
