The stylist I had was wonderful but I don't think I should have paid full price when my hair was only trimmed using clippers. Less than 10 mins in the chair.

Awful service led to me turning away and walking out before receiving any haircut. I walked in at 10: 01, and was rudely chastised for setting foot inside of an unlocked door, as they 'weren't open yet' and were having a staff meeting. After a few minutes of waiting outside in -20c cold, I popped back inside around 10: 06 to see if they were ready and also to wait in a warmer spot. I was again told we are not open yet and that their door was locked. I said if your door is locked how am I standing inside? Also according to the sign on the door they should have been opened to the public for almost ten minutes.

I had had enough of the rude treatment from the staff so simply left. I will never return and never recommend this place. Do better.

Horrible, I asked for a fade on the sides and to keep the length the same but it ended up looking like a buzz cut. Completely ignored my request and that’s why I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’ll be wearing a hat for 4 months thanks great clips.

Love this place and the people. The stylists are very talented. They're friendly, respectful and really listen to what you want for your hairstyle.

I went here once because it was the only place open. I have never received such an aggressive haircut before in my life, and when she used the spray bottled she put so much on it soaked the collar of my shirt and was running down my neck and back. I had to ask her to wipe it off because she wasn't going to on her own. On top of that the haircut was butchered. This place is a joke.

I just had one of the best hair cuts in many many years! I don’t get it cut often because I am tired of it always coming out the same just shorter and costing +60$. The lovely human that cut my hair was Ashley, she listened to exactly what I wanted done, even though it was unconventional. She did not try to talk me out of it, she let me make the decisions and did an amazing job with everything even just the basics! Her technique was on point and my hair hasn’t felt this healthy and made me feel this great about how I look in so many years! Thank you so much Ashley! You did an amazing job I am absolutely in LOVE with it!

They have online check in which saves time waiting in the salon. I’ve had some good haircuts there. A bit on the pricey side.

Great service! Talented friendly staff! In a convenient location. Not bad looking gals either. I went in there one day with my hair just in shambles. It looked like I just got a toilet swirly and had four tornadoes run over the top of my head. They kindly brought me in sat me down and said. “We got you”. Didn’t make fun of my rats nest of a head. Walked in there looking like carrot top having a bad hair day and came out looking like Brad Pitt in legends of the fall. Thanks great clips!

Cheyenne is an awesome hairdresser, she'll cut your hair the way you wanted and always have a decent conversation. Highly recommended her services. I already have her twice and will definitely return to her for my haircuts. Excellent services as always and thank you again.

Just watched 2 ladies that work at the salon load a gentleman into the drivers seat of his car who CLEARLY was not ok to drive. What is wrong with your staff? Hope he doesn't die on the way home or kill someone. Way to pass the buck there ladies. SHAMEFUL

Always a great experience at Great Clips. Staff are always super friendly, the online check in process is easy to use, and you are not waiting around too long.

I brought my two sons in for hair cuts. My 7 year olds was great and the lady was very nice. The lady that did my 1.5 year olds hair had attitude from the start and completely butchered his hair. I almost cried once I got a good look at it. I asked for a trim, for some reason she used the clippers to do his hairline all around, I understand that he was moving and that’s probably why she messed up on one side but it was unnecessary to begin with. The whole hairline looks horrible. She also made a few comments that didn’t sit right with me. Super disappointed

Updated to say: I emailed the customer service email twice this week and no one replies.

Great Clips has a fabulous online website to book your appointment in advance of your arrival You move immediately to the front of the line upon your arriva l. (or limited waiting). I have asked Alex to do my hair the last 4 or 5 times.she does have a phenomenal job.

These amazing hair stylists saved this mamas butt two days before the first day of school. Was able to register online saving our space which for this working mom is so helpful. They were so polite and accommodating for my can be difficult children. Both kids who ended up getting cuts were extremely happy with their outcomes and that makes mama happy! 5/5 only because that's the most you can do. Definitely WILL be back!

Sadly my granddaughter had her hair cut on the 2nd of September and it was awful. I couldn't get her to go back to see if they could fix it. Must have been the hair dresser because we've both had ok ones before.

Went for a haircut used the app For my time to arrive. Got a text from them saying to arrive. When I get there the rude lady informed me that she was leaving and it would be a half hour wait.
Makes the app totally pointless.it was a 40min wait when i made appt on the app.dont take the customers if you can't keep your commitment. We can always (and will now) go else where. To top it off got a total hack job cut. Really should of know. Sure miss my barber, but he deserves retirement he ran a true bussiness.

Absolutely ridiculous that Great Clips is mandating BABIES to wear masks. I took my 7 year old son (him and I both wearing a mask) along with my 10 month old daughter to get my son’s haircut today and was refused service by the Orillia location due to my 10 MONTH OLD BABY not wearing a mask. They advised that it is “company policy ”that ALL patrons must wear a mask, no matter the age (I guess this would also include a newborn baby? !? !). Absolutely absurd that a large company would go against Health Canada’s advice on nobody under the age of 2 to wear a mask. I’ve never been asked in ANY other store, salon, even a medical office or hospital for my baby to wear a mask. Considering it poses a suffocation risk, this is a disgusting and unethical practice by the company. I will NEVER attend Great Clips again.

Daughter went in for a basic trim. A woman who appeared to be the manager cut her hair. Came out with and extremely uneven cut with a variance of at least three inches. I went back in the store on behalf of my daughter who has now refused to go back. Same woman met me with a combative attitude and only offered to “to clean up” the cut a little bit - which given the first attempt was not an option. Mistakes do happen from time to time but in this case the cut was so bad there is no reason besides carelessness and they addressed the concern with no concern or empathy.

The manager cut my hair and sent me off.when i got home, the left side was inches longer than the right.not going back.

Hair dresser was great with my son and his hair looks lovely, but I think you need to revisit requiring masks for babies. I was not allowed in with my 10 month old baby as she was not wearing a mask (Health Canada advises against masks for children under 2 years old).

Great cut. Came in with a cartoon pic and my grandson came out with the cut in the pic. We were super pleased.

Got in line online, was very efficient, as I was walking towards the shop got a text to go right in. Lisa was fantastic, gave me exactly what I wanted, will definitely be returning.

They shouldn't have a system that books appointments at specific times and then proceed to take walk ins ahead of those appointments. That is unfair and wrong. People who have specific times to be there should take priority over people who didn't bother booking one.

I was there on a Saturday. Appointments made at the door. Told me time to come back. I was in line and they kept taken the men
One man was booked 10 minutes after mine. He was taken first. Should just says it's men's day. I could have come another day

They are very nice but I come from a place where my hair was professionally done so it’s a little different but other then that I highly recommend these guys

Went to take my 1 year old in for his first haircut! They denied us as he wouldn't wear a MASK! We said screw this and went to the shop in WALMART and had ZERO issues! WE ARE DEFINITELY DONE WITH GREAT CLIPS!

I am not happy about the cut I received yesterday. I have mid length hair and now have 2 def rings for layers starting at chin length. The v shape for the length is barely there. It will take months to grow this out. I gave 3 stars because my previous cut was good.

Absolutely the worst hair salon I have ever dealt with. I was told that my 16 month old son would have to wear a mask after we arrived. However, no where online did it say that a child under 2 would be required to wear one. So we waited 85 mins for no reason. Terrible customer service and I would not recommend taking children here.

Don't do business with people that don't answer the phone. Move on to next one. Too bad I liked the haircut.

Good, fast and friendly hair cut, the woman who cut my hair was engaging and friendly, unfortunately i didn't catch her name but lovely full red hair.and she was wearing a mask.

My sons father took my son for a haircut as well as himself. I dropped them off then went to park. Then myself and my daughters came in. When I came in I saw my sons father trying to hold a mask over his face, my son was irritated completely.hes 1 and a half. I then said he will not wear the mask for the duration, the lady said he had to. I then tried to give him a toy, talk to him, comfort him. It wasn't going well. I attempted to hold him but the hairdresser said she couldn't cut his hair in my arms. We then said screw it, we aren't going to fight with him to wear a mask and expect him to relax. Not worth it. He isn't expected to wear a mask at daycare, grocery stores, hospital appointments. Hes 1 and a half and was born with respiratory issues. My sons father said he would still pay for it, and I left. He came out after his cut and told me that they charged him 21$ for my sons haircut. Barely any hair cut, less than 5 mins. I expected them to charge him something for their time but thought they'd meet him in the middle or discount the cut seeing as it was not finished. Not happy at all.

Always friendly, and usually quick when you check in online before you arrive. Reasonably priced and doing a great job following the current safety protocols, despite some of the abuse suffered from entitled potential customers.

I took my 12 yr old son there today. I asked for a 3 on top and a 2 on the sides. Pre-paid and pre tipped. I Left to go to Zehrs. When I came back, she buzzed his hair. WHAT? I could have done that for free. Instead I paid $30 dollars for a buzz. What did you ask what we wanted when you just buzzed him. Do you not know how to cut hair?
Come on!? !

Normally I take my husband and my grandsons there and get great haircuts for the boys however took my daughter-in-law there she had long hair to the middle of her back she wanted a forward angled bob when I picked her up her hair was 2 in shorter and definitely not bobbed definitely not angled and when we said to the hairdresser that she wasn't angled the hairdresser was rude and aggressive in telling us that if she wanted to put her hair up that was the only way it could be cut and she couldn't do any better and my daughter-in-law left crying and did not want to return because she was afraid the hairdresser would do more damage. Unfortunately we're very disappointed however they do good cuts on men I just wouldn't recommend for women

Always friendly and deliver a great haircut. One disappointment however. I checked online to see if they were open on labour day and it said labour day opening hours and that indeed they were open. I drove for forty minutes only to discover that they were indeed, not open. I suppose I should have called to confirm, however, they have a web site for a reason. And if there was no intention of opening, it should have been stated on their web site. I work six days a week and have limited time for the luxury of a haircut, so I must get one when I can. I rely on companies to have updated information on their web sites. I don’t want this to be a commentary on the service or staff. They are always top notch.

Asked Lisa for a 'high fade' with a 'faux hawk' on the top for a Men's haircut (very standard). You can see the three levels on my head with no blending. I had hair jetting out from the crown and asked her to look at it from my angle. She wouldn't listen to me and even began arguing (very lightly though).

Absolutely the worst haircut at a whats supposed to be a premium hairstying shop.

My son gets his hair cut here. Usually a different lady each time but very consistent hair cuts. Couldn't be happier

Im giving this 5 stars because it doesn't go any higher. I called and asked if they did babies hair and if I could bring my son in. They were nice and answered my questions and said to come on in. We got to Great Clips and we were greeted by a woman who was very kind and helpful. Both ladies were busy helping clients but we only waited a couple minutes for our turn. A lady named Anne called us over and asked what style I wanted my 21 month son to have. She helped me choose a length that would compliment his hair color and age. She was so friendly, kind and treated my son like her own. I was so impressed at how well my sons hair turned out- it was exactly what I wanted! They took notes on his hairstyle, so next time we go in, they know exactly what we want, without having to describe it again. I was truly happy and impressed at the speed, service, cleanliness, skill, attitudes etc. I will continue to bring my baby back to see Anne in the future and highly recommend Great Clips and Anne if you want a professional haircut with friendly care and conversation! Thank you Great Clips and Thank you Anne! You made my sons experience wonderful and I know he will enjoy seeing you again soon! ;)

Normally I would use their app to check in, but it disappeared from my phone. Great for getting my haircut and the staff is always so friendly

I’ve visited this location multiple times. Every time has been with a different team member and my experience was excellent every time.

They save your cut style so I consistently get the haircut I desire without having to re-describe it.

Wait time has always been less than 15 minutes without an appointment. They do offer a check in feature to hold your spot if you concerned about time.
