Great place to get a hair cut. Decent prices great promotion prices. Took me in with allowing me to self check in. Which I didn't know I needed to do.

I find that their organic shampoo and conditioner was pretty expensive.

The place was nice, the staff was friendly, they can allow you to check in online before your arrival which was nice. But I have to say, this is the worst haircut I’ve had in a long time. It reminds me of when the first time I had to cut my kid’s hair during the pandemic lockdown, and he almost cried after seeing the haircut I gave him. This is what I am feeling now. It was a completely inexperienced style. I shouldn’t have trusted reviews. Why does this place have a 4.5-star rating? I will not recommend this store to anyone. I will be patient until my hair grows and find someone who is professional and experienced.

I have been using Great Clips, Richmond Hill location near Longos since 2015 and have always had pleasant experiences with the hairstylists. I even knew most of the hairstylists by their names. However, over the years, I noticed a steady decrease in service levels as the owners changed and the stylists were more interested in promoting their products than offering a good service with the haircut. I had the worse experience today and would stop using this location immediately. The hairstylist who claimed to be the “Store Manager” was rude, condescending and appears to have no knowledge or training in customer service. The lady customer before me refused to accept her services and opted to wait until the other stylist is available. Then this hairstylist/ Store Manager was offended by that and questioned the customer for opting to wait for another stylist even when it was that customer’s first visit to that location. The customer completely ignored her (obviously, that customer had good reason to decline her service because this hairstylist’s bad attitude was pretty noticeable). Then this hairstylist/ “Store Manager” wanted to offer the haircut to me as I was the next in line. I reluctantly accepted her offer but even before I sat on the chair, she began questioning me about having a different phone number in their system and demanded I provide the phone number I used previously. I declined. I expressed my displeasure and asked her name. She refused to provide her name. Then I declined her services. She kept arguing, pointing her finger at me and lecturing why I should provide my other phone number. When I told her specifically that I’m not interested in speaking to her and demanded her name, she kept refusing to provide her name and then said she is not the Store Manager. By that time I have already declined their services and wanted to speak to the owner. I was allowed to speak to the owner named Sam. As I was explaining the rudeness and how unprofessional this hairstylist is, the owner cut me off and said “if you don't like the service you can leave as he wants all her staff to be fully respected”. The owner Sam wasn’t ready to listen to my feedback. I understood where the problem lies right away in lack of customer service and training of staff when the owner refused to hear the feedback of a long-standing customer and did nothing to deescalate or apologize for the apparent horrible customer service. I will never visit this Great Clips location again and others who plan to patronize this location, please be warned.

Always provide a great service. Very pleasant people who listen carefully and provide what you are asking for. Never disappointed.

The staff here are lovely and they do a great job.
There usually isn't a wait, plus the Clip Notes make it quick and easy to walk in and get the exact haircut you want.
Prices are reasonable too.

First time at a Great Clips for my mom and I. Reservations online were easy, and plenty of parking and minimal wait time. I was looking for long layers and Ching Mei was absolutely wonderful. Explained everything and showed me the steps, and gave tips for how I could improve my hair condition. She was friendly, patient, quick, and very professional and helpful. I can actually see the difference and the layers. I look forward to getting more cuts with her in the future.

Great service. Easy to check in online. All of the stylists are very talented and listen to the clients for what they need. I have been to several great clips and have had a delightful experience at each one. This location is closest to my home and the one I usually use. I would highly recommend them!

Been coming here a few years now, nothing but good experiences for me. Just left the store 10 minutes ago after getting some serious help with my out of control hair and sideburns. Lol definitely recommend stopping by for a haircut or even just a trim.

Fantastic service. Was my first time with a new barber, and they spent time and carefully cut my hair with care and patience. They weren't distracted, or frustrated when I asked them to make some areas shorter, and I felt very appreciated as a customer. Will definitely go again!

Friendly clean and did exactly as asked nicely and showed me /also gave suggestions for my medium length hair trim which I was hesitant about cutting.

I just got an amazing haircut here! Natalya did a wonderful job cutting my hair. She took her time and explained exactly what she would do and the results are fantastic.
This place has a very friendly atmosphere and there's a great selection of hair care products available for purchase too.
This location is accessible by Viva Transit and there's plenty of parking if you drive.

This was totally worth the trip and I'll definitely be back!

Easy online check-in. Staff professional and courteous and skilled. Staff are following and enforcing local and store Covid guidelines to make the experience safe and stress free

I like very much the Greatclips salon located beside the Longos, they are doing an amazing job to keep the salon very clean and safe, they are following Public Health protocols that made me and my kids feel safe and protected when we had our hair cuts.

One of the hairdresser girls with bleached hair absolutely hacked into my hair when brushing it. I have bleached hair as well so it requires a gentle brush. Very unprofessional and absolutely rude. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!

I don't usually write reviews but feel the need to as I am continuously amazed by Natalya's work ethic, professionalism and genuine care towards my family. I have a special needs son who dislikes going for haircuts. She goes above and beyond to make him comfortable. What's more is that I was in awe by how much care she gives to my one year old son. My one year old wails the entire time he's in the chair (while sitting on my lap). But the amount of patience displayed by Natalya is remarkable. Natalya would patiently wait with him, entertain him, and even encourage him to walk around and stand while she cuts his hair. Today, my son eventually fell asleep on my chest and she came and cut his hair with utmost care, striving for perfection. She didn't need to do that but she cared enough to. I don't know of anyone else who goes above and beyond to make sure the kids experience is excellent! Thank you Natalya! You have my utmost respect!

WORST PLACE EVER. I WANT SOMEONE TO CALL ME AND EXPLAIN TO ME WHY DIDNT THEY CUT MY HAIR CORRECTLY! I HAVE SO MANY PICTURES OF HOW THEY MESSED UP MY HAIR. DONT GO HERE

Good for a quick inexpensive cut.the app is a waste of time as it is for their convenience and not yours. If I don't have an appointment by filling out the app and a walk in gets priority.what is the point?

I normally don't like writing bad reviews but I'm gonna be honest I went here on a weekend to get a haircut and the barber was in such a rush to finish my haircut that she completely messed up. My lineup ended up being very embarrassingly uneven, and there was a huge, very noticeable horizontal line in my sideburns where she accidentally ran through it with the machine. She acted like everything was okay and didn't even bother to apologize.
I'm not sure what the deal is with Great Clips in general here in the GTA but it seems like every branch I go to is the same. There was another branch in Vaughan which I went to in the past which was also filled with very unprofessional barbers who did a very poor job every time, but I keep going back thinking it would be better the next time.
This was the last straw and I am definitely never going back to any Great Clips branch in the future. Highly recommend that anyone reading this does the same and spends their $20 in other barbershops to get a higher quality cut.

Have been a customer since the opening and the most awful thing happened in my last visit. The hairstylist’s trimmer “was not working properly” according to her and she shaved the middle of my son’s head from the bottom to the top right down to his scalp on what was supposed to be a #2 trim for his picture day haircut. I was livid but had to remain calm as did not want to have a crying 6 year old bawling as well. She waived the cost of the haircut but never in my life have a seen such a haircut disaster. She went on like it no big deal.
