Great Gulf - Westfield Sales Office

We bought 2 houses from great gulf and wanted to upgrade the house and regesiter ourselves online and I was in touch with the sales lady. She told me they will release in November. They did released the houses and I didn't get any email. When I get to know from someone they sold internally, who have connections inside, who knows the sales lady, I was really upset and hurt. In Canada also people does the same thing parcillety. Sales team I will give 0 stars. Builder should check them how they are treating people.

Recently, purchased great gulf house in Westfield location. The experience was really good. The quality of the house is really good! Sales persons & Design studio teams are very informative and always ready to help & provide guidance.
Worth to buy from Great Gulf again!

Very poor quality of pantry install. Uses 1/2" wood screw for anchoring heavy [~ 30 lbs] full size pantry that is held by 1/2 " screws ONLY at the bottom! The screws ripped off from melamine board and pantry falls off. Great Gulf fails to address this saying its beyond the one year warranty.

We always had a very positive experience with Great Gulf. Have dealt with Lesley, Kayla, Leeanne and Jeremy over the years. They have all been exceptional and very responsive in every way. Great Gulf is definitely a brand we can trust on for life with class customer service!

Great home buying experience. Build great quality home. PDI employee marked tiny details of perfection. I will recommend, you will never go wrong buying a great gulf home.

I have bought home last year and now got the home possession. I am really impressed with warm feeling passionate & professional work and great attitude by sales team member LESLEY CARNEVALE for the complete transaction. She deserve the wow award and helped me not during the sale but all across the time and was great help to us.

I took possession of home and been having nothing but major issues. Needless to say I did anticipate some adjustments as with any new homes but the qualify Great Gulf offers for the money you spend, us far below inadequate. BUYER DEFINITELY BE AWARE. If it is qualify you seek don't buy here. If you love the area as I do then look for another builder in this area and buy from them. I have had issues such as hardwood floor separating leaving gaps, stucco washing off the out side walls, the ground around house sinking, there is no sound proofing. Even with windows close you can hear ever car, and conversation of ever person who passes by, and major electrical failures, just to name a few. I cannot help but wonder if the builder thinks that because it's purchasers are mainly people of colour that we should settle for inadequacy. Like we do not work hard for our money, and want the highest of quality for it in return. Builder is so disrespectful.

Recently went to buy a house made by Great Gulf. Aesthetically it was good. It was just three years old but the whole had lot of squeaking sounds. The stairs, the rooms, the hallway had squeaky sounds like a 100 year old cabin. At one spot in a bedroom there was a big hollow spot beneath the carpet as if the sub floor had moved out of place. I have seen many houses recently but haven't ever seen such a poor construction quality.

They r cheap. They want to sell at higher price so just release a house once in a month as if they r giving it for free.

Currently own a great gulf home. Love it. Staff at the sales office were awesome and they provided excellent customer service. Would purchase another one in a heart beat.

They treat buyers as beggars, specially the young lady she have no courtesy to talk with people who are buying their houses for millions of dollars. Worst customer service ever in industry. Looks like they need professional training.

I gave the builder Great Gulf 5 stars when I moved in. Now the whole house creaks when someone walks upstairs (after 4 years). Yes I have a humidifier and a humidity monitor. Also they are horrible at construction noise. Start early at 7 am even on weekends. So if you buy early in the construction area all the truck noises in the night plus construction noises in the day will drive you crazy and the dust for allergy suffers will make you visit hospital in no time. They should let people to move in till they finish each phase. I wish I did not bought a new construction home especially from Great Gulf in Westfield.

Probably one of the worst builders I’ve dealt with. I’m convinced the reviews on here are staged. Three years into our home and they are still doing outside construction and major road repairs (to the point where our cars have been damaged, roads being closed and us being forced to park on other streets and walk 5-10mins to our home). These road repairs were only enforced by the City since they originally didn’t meet code. They’ve also given us a huge headache when honouring their 2yr home warranty to the point where Tarion had to get involved three times. Issues included lack of proper insulation in 3 parts of our home, not completing the walling in our washroom, leaving wood chips, nails and a screwdriver (yes, for real) in our heat vents. They also failed to properly pave our driveway (until Tarion got involved), and their workers cracked our driveway in the process, which they refused to fix (again, until Tarion got involved). Be very careful with this developer. Only buy from them as a last resort. They are not worth the headache, especially given their prices.
