Great Northern Insulation

We have been trying to get an estimate to top up the insulation in our attic since mid-August, based on a referral from my family who had a great experience with this company. It took 3 emails from us, with the last two in October “chasing” the sales rep for the quote, which we only got on Nov 3rd, giving us the impression our business isn’t wanted. Then today I tried calling the 800 number multiple times during business hours to discuss my experience thus far, and I either got bounced by the agent or sent directly to voice mail. We shouldn’t have to work this hard to give a company our business. And while this doesn’t seem to be the “norm” based on other recent reviews; it leaves us questioning what the product application experience and after-service customer care would be like. Very disappointing as we had intended to go with them to complete our energy audit.

We hired Great Northern to remove all of the multiple layers of old insulation materials from the attic space in our cottage and replace it with modern blown-in insulation. Received a quick response when I requested an estimate to upgrade our attic insulation. Pricing was competitive, and job was completed quickly and professionally.

Bill and Dave arrived on site on schedule and completed the work thoroughly and efficiently, cleaning up after the job was completed. Deficiencies in the existing “builders standard” were corrected, insulation blown in to specifications and they even added 6 inches of rigid insulation to the attic hatch! Best price and workmanship was top notch. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

From the free consultation to the insulation it was very professional and very nice people. My installers were Henry, and Matt x2 all worked hard and got the job done professionally. I will recommend this company again. Also very affordable.

We had the insulation in our attic increased from R32 to R60 on October 8th, 2020. The installers Phil & Nathan arrived early and were professional doing the preparation and install of the insulation. Phil explained the process as well the deterrent value of the insulation in keeping rodents from our attic. They were meticulous in the clean up when done. My wife and I, would highly recommend this company.

I signed up with the Greensaver and Great Northern Insulation came to do a inspection of the property and found out that I was living in the house with minimum insulation and huge job was recommended and which got approved later. On the day of job Aron, Tiffany and Gabe came and to my surprise they were so professional that it literally blew my mind. They were so meticulous with the job that in my opinion it can't be better than that. Whole basement was done, main floor walls were drilled and insulation pumped and attic was done. It took two days to complete the job and the amount of patience exhibited by the team was amazing. I was so impressed by the job carried out by specially Tiffany. I thanked her many times. I'm really thankful to Aron for supervising and executing himself the job to perfection.
