Do not leave it till last minute though, they’re usually booked up

Friendly and attentive service, lamb shank special and the pork souvlaki was very good. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed the friendly banter with Brian behind the bar, who was fantastic and really made our night. The overall dining experience was amazing, and i highly recommend Grecos!

We started our meal with the spicy shrimp, which were cooked to perfection. Main course we had the veal chop and lamb shank on Brian's recommendations. Both dishes were tender, flavourful, and amazing all around. The traditional greek potatoes and veggies were just the right accompaniment. We really didn't want the meal to end.
Oh, i almost forgot to mention the wine we had with dinner, a red cab from Nappa called Wind Storm. Too bad it is not sold at the LCBO. Full bodied, and the perfect pairing with our meal.
The highest of ratings for this place and sitting at the bar, what a great choice. Thanks again to Brian, who made our night out even better!

Passed through Kingston while driving and decided to stop for dinner. I am so glad we did! The restaurant was already starting to fill up as we arrived immediately after opening. We sat at the bar and ordered three of the daily specials: lamb shank with pasta (it really did fall off the bone, as promised), lobster linguine, and veal chop with potatoes and veg. For starters, we shared the saganaki and mussels. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared, and downright delicious. Brian the bartender was charismatic, welcoming, and friendly: his conversation was energetic and entertaining. Drinks were amazing. We are definitely coming back for more.

Wow.visiting that city we found a restaurant. The chef suggested the lam. It was the best I have ever had.

Food was okay. Very bland to me. Two dishes were recommended, the Kalamari and stuffed olive leaves which were both not very good. Service was pushy and unpleasant.

This continues to be my personal favorite place to eat in Kingston. The food and service are always top notch!

Greco's Greek Restaurant is a standout dining destination. The server was exceptionally attentive, making the experience truly enjoyable. The potatoes were a highlight, cooked to perfection, and the overall food and environment were top-notch. It's a place I'll gladly return to and highly recommend for authentic Greek flavors.

Very popular with the locals and perhaps they`d encourage more visitors by introducing online booking or failing that give the person (s) who run their online media access to the restaurant booking diary as opposed to responding `Sorry, we don`t take bookings. So, I persevered and after driving 4.5 hours to Kingston we walked into the restaurant and booked a table for later that evening.

We (couple) visited Greco’s for dinner on a Wednesday night. The place was packed and the diners just kept coming, but the atmosphere was still warm and friendly. We had delicious appetizers (octopus, tzatziki), main courses (souvlaki and rack of lamb) and dessert (baklava). Our server was attentive - even though he was very busy with a packed house. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Greco’s.

The food was good but unfortunately my experience with the customer service at the front counter was very bad. The gentleman there was very rude and unprofessional, which caught me off guard.

My favorite restaurant for about 20 years now! Perfect even-keel place. Staff are professional and friendly, food is delicious, it's a classy joint, but not pretentious, prices are very respectable. Recently had spanakopita, of course their patented potatoes, and (drumroll). Lamb shanks (Chef's recommendation). Amazeballs! I love this place!

Don't be fooled by the unassuming (and slightly run down) storefront. This place is classy, clean, and very well-run on the inside. Food and service is superb.

The service is underwhelming and food is mediocre at best. Small town allows it to stay in business. In Montreal or Ottawa, it would have closed down already.

Hands down the BEST restaurant in Kingston. Visited Grecos last night for a family dinner and had an amazing experience. Never have we had a bad meal or visit to Grecos. Carey was a fantastic server! He was friendly, funny, efficient and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The food is top notch! You can tell they put a lot of love and hard work into their dishes. Highly reccomend the Saganaki, Shishkebab dish or any of their lamb dishes. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any meal. Portion sizes are big, and they match the price tag. Fresh ingredients and comes to your table hot! Please visit Grecos if you haven't before, or are visiting kingston. You will not be disappointed!

Hands down the best dining experience in Kingston. Veal chop was hands down the best ever and the pickled octopus was to die for!

Had the Grecos Delight from the delicacies menu with a Greek salad, everything was delicious and the server we had was very friendly and quick with everything. Would recommend for a nice dinner, pricing and servings were also very good!

Im not one to post a review usually and never to comment on someone else’s. However I am appalled at the review by the gentleman that said that this restaurant is over priced and that the food was salty and bland. First of all how can you have bland food with no taste if your overwhelmed with a spice at the same time. Secondly its not salt its dill its a greek restaurant. Lastly since when is $27 expensive for a dish at a fine dining establishment? The lamb shank is what you ordered by the looks of things and is one of their signature dish and one of the reasons why you usually need reservations to even be seated. Its fall off the bone tender and full of flavour. I had the same dish in Las Vegas at Hells Kitchen and it didnt come anywhere close to how much i enjoy it at Grecos. Either way your entitled to your opinion… opinions are just like…. Well everyone has one. My whole family has been enjoying the quality and care that the owner and chef has been putting into his dishes consistently time after time. In the ten years that ive been going there ive never seen anyone but him cooking. He is there every single day which is amazing to me but ensures that the quality is amazing every single time you go! Please dont diservice yourself by reading the review i am commenting about … if you dont try Grecos youll be missing a great dining experience!

The service started out very friendly. When I received my meal (the broiled salmon entrée), and tried the salmon, it was very fishy/off. When I told the waiter that the salmon was fishy he sarcastically stated “well it is fish“. I had to explain that the fish was off -after that he sarcastically stated “oh so you’re sending it back“. It clearly was not fresh. I wasn’t offered anything else from the menu. No apology was offered. I had a slice of pizza that one of my friends ordered. The pizza was very heavy and subpar. Another one of my friends ordered the gourmet chicken dinner. It had very little flavour. After our dinner plates were removed- we were not offered the opportunity to order any coffee or desserts. We were almost rushed out the door. Overall it was a disappointment. We have had much better Greek food at fast food chains. The takeaway for this restaurant is - if you don’t like your meal - keep your mouth shut or you’ll get a plate of gaslighting.

The veal chop was perfectly grilled and it tasted amazing! Serviced by Norm was great. Would definitely come back if in Kingston again.

We were at Grecos tonight for dinner and again we were very satisfied. Service is always top notch as well. We had Kota Oreganato and Souvlaki served with salad, rice and Greek potatoes. Such great food, value and atmosphere and is our favourite restaurant in Kingston. Thank you!

The traditional Greek salad is delicious. Food is always fresh and authentic. One of our favorite places in town!

Have been here during the busking festival for dinner. Really fantastic place: the food is very tasty, the portions are very generous and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Hard to find better value for money around here.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were honestly blown away. We travel a lot all over the world and are used to pretty good restaurants but this one threads the needle really perfectly between high quality food and the family service and atmosphere. Everything we ate was top-notch and the price value is off the charts. They could charge double what they are charging and still have a full restaurant.

The food was so and tasty, the dessert was incredible. 100% recommended! Keep up the good job guys.

On a detour from Kitchener to Quebec City, decided to go on a restaurant on the way and it turned out to be awesome! Very funny and kind server, along with great food!

The French onion soup is so so so salty. The lamb shank is salty as well. In general, the food is okay, but we’ll not be back.

Really nice atmosphere, really friendly staff and delicious food. Got the lasagna and the classic pizza. A little pricey but well worth it for a special occasion

Absolutely enjoyed our evening at Grecos. Our server John was not only informative about the dishes, but provided great services. The atmosphere, the service and the food were all top notch. My new #1 dining location when in Kingston.

Mosaka was on the heavy side with too many potatoes. The lamb shank was great. Garden salad was fresh and crunchy!

Potatoes cooked perfectly- not too firm and not too soft. Beef Kabab delicious and juicy. Rice tastes amazing. Server very helpful and funny. Will return.

I loved this restaurant, absolutely delightful experience, friendly staff, and amazing food! I had the Penne Frattina and it completely exceeded my expectations. The sauce and flavour was so delicious, far better than anything I have ever tried. Also tried the spanakopita and it was equally delicious! I have a feeling all the dishes here will blow your mind and offer an authentic taste of Greek cuisine.

I tried the Mousaka with lamb chops and my partner had the Penne Avgo. Both plates were quite large and filling. The mousaka in particular was quite delicious. The thin slices of potato with eggplant and tomato gravy was exquisite! The lamb chops were tender and juicy. If you are in Kingston and need a place for dinner this is a must visit.

12/10 recommend, I wish there was more stars! Food was amazing, so much garlic, so good. Our server was John, he was awesome too! I’m upset there isn’t a Grecos back home. I would say this is a must try. They do get super busy so a reservation is a good idea

Friends joined us in Kingston for dinner at Greco's Restaurant. We were well cared for with great food and a few extra drinks to celebrate St. Patty's.
A great menu with Italian and Greek fare. Service and staff were excellent, prices very reasonable.
In the words of Arnold. We'll be back!
