I went to Green & Spiegel for help with what seemed like an impossible task. My family's immigration case was very complex and i had tried a few other lawyers before going to them. My family's sponsorship case had already been rejected by the time i went to Green and Spiegel. I met with Shoshana Green a few times. If you are a DACA recipient in the US looking to immigrate to Canada, based on my experience with this firm, I would NOT recommend Green and Spiegel. I do not want to paint them in a negative light, because, upon reading some of these other reviews, it's clear that they are a professional and experienced law firm. But if you are a DACA recipient, TPS holder, or have some other kind of temporary status in the US, unfortunately I believe this firm is poorly equipped to handle your case. I won't name specific names but I made very clear during both my initial email and consultation to them what kind of pathway I was interested in, yet the lawyer that was later assigned to me completely contradicted everything that was said to me during the initial consultation. Having worked in very high-volume offices myself, I understand they must be incredibly busy; however, I did not feel any sense of genuine empathy from this firm. I felt like I was being treated like a shamed outsider. My experience with them caused me an extreme amount of panic and stress as I didn't feel that I was getting clear answers.

Additionally, I got the impression that they are relatively unfamiliar with DACA or other temporary statuses in the US. Again, upon reading other reviews I would like to think that my experience is the exception not the rule, but I can only provide my assessment based on my experience.

So, the bottom line: if you are in a temporary status in the US and are interested in immigrating to Canada, I would recommend looking for another law firm.

Hi I talk to showsana and she is a lawyer they charge me 395 dollars for 30 minutes talk on phone but she talk to me only 15 minutes and she is in hurry and she not give me any good suggestions look like she have another appointment she not tell me what category good for my nephew so I had bad experience with Green and Spiegel no star for them.

I had dealt with them a number of years ago. They took a deposit but did not do much after that. Seemed like they were just not interested. Finally when they applied the application was refused. I went to a different lawyer and applied and was approved soon after. I went to them because I had heard good things about them but for me it was a waste of money.

Leticia and Michael from Green and Spiegel went above and beyond when organising every aspect of mine and my husband's Canadian Work visa's earlier this year. Their communication was prompt, clear, professional and always addressed all of my concerns.
