Green Grotto

Ordered tea and cheese cake.
The cheese cake is from cheese cake factory. So nothing special or unique there. But they have nice collection of teas. We ordered the pot - the fruit pot tea on black tea. You can even order it on green tea base. It was slightly sweet and had beautiful fruit flavor. The tea is infused with Chunks of fruit pieces. It's really nice to have after dinner.
To improve -
There is a bit of discrepancy in the timing to when to when it's open. The map said it's open till 11 pm but when we go there the timing board said it's open till 12 am and the shop owner attested the local timing board.
So yea you have time till 12 AM.

I ordered bubble tea and the waiter was friendly and recommended his favorite drink from the menu which did not disappoint.would definitely come back!

I order mango shaves ice, blacktea wintermalon with mango jelly and Honey drew milk tea with rynchee jelly but they forget it then they give it later with popcorn.

All drink is very good but really love wintermelon with blacktea.

This nice little cafe used to be my favourite place to chill on weekends. Came here for a tea with my date today (with our laptops, planning to get some work done). Everything was fine until a group of teenagers came in and occupied the two tables behind us. Two of them took out a table tennis ball and started playing. I thought they were playing beer pong but no, they were hitting the ball with bare hands and later took out a racket to play. The noise of constantly dropping the ball and their restless movements was very disturbing, unfortunately management didn’t do anything about it. We didn’t want to start an argument over this so we just asked for a take out cup and took my unfinished drink to go. Was gonna order more snacks and stayed longer if this quiet cafe didn’t turn into a playground: (

Amazing atmosphere, delicious and affordable food & snacks, and expansive, aesthetically pleasing space. My favourite spot in Sauga! I truly can't give enough praise.

Service is nice, food and bubble tea were all delicious, such a pleasure to having this place still keeping an affordable price.

Solid spot for hanging out w the guys.remember coming here after giving buckets at huron back in the day.the taro milk tea (60 ice 80 sugar) always greened.got the taro milk hot froth today, was very good (came with a cute spoon as you can see in the photograph) cheers!

This place is usually wonderful. My husband and I have been going there for the past 7 years and more, and the service is always top-notch, the food is delicious and the drinks are great. Tonight was probably an exception but I had to write a review so that changes can be made and so that other customers don't receive the same service. It was a busy night so we waited a long time before we got to the front of the line to make our take-out order. We waited about 20 minutes at least. When I finally get to the front, the girl tells me to wait. So I waited, and she did other things in the kitchen, and then she comes back and tells me to wait again. By now, it's been almost half an hour of waiting since we started lining up. Then she comes back and says okay. Right before I start ordering, she tells me to wait again and she starts cleaning up tables. I was very frustrated because I had already been waiting for almost 40 minutes at this point, and I knew that after I give my order that it would take time for my food to be made anyway, so why is she cleaning up tables when that isn't the priority? So she finally comes back and says, "Can you wait and let the people behind you go first because they already ate and they just need to pay. " So that was the last straw. We left because at that point, we had been waiting for almost an hour and she clearly does not know how to prioritize. I still love this store and I'll still come back because maybe that girl was a new employee and needs more training. But I had to write something before other customers get treated the same way.

Highly recommend Green Grotto for its services, atmosphere and menu! Had a minor hiccup with an order but it was resolved professionally by the manager!

Great selection of drinks and friendly staff, love the cafe environment for hanging out with friends, playing board games and relaxing!

They also offer discounts on take out orders with cash, so you can get some great deals if you’re not planning on hanging around!

The drinks and service are great. Haven't tried much of the food except the cakes which are delicious.

Nice suit down cafe with lots of seating and good atmosphere. You can order drinks and food from an online menu once you've been seated.

Had the Japanese Pancake, Spring Rolls and Calamari. Fresh, crispy and awesome. Bubble tea was top notch highly recommend this place.

Simple the best in their category. If you like sweet milk drinks, try their Maccha Espresso Affogato.

If you like green tea, try their Green Tea Lime Bomb. So Good!

A nice casual hangout spot with friends or dates. Their drink selection is huge and they also have desserts, snacks and entrees. I got their bbq pork and condensed milk toast with honeydew milk tea and Oreo milk tea. Food was great and the atmosphere is nice inside.

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago for takeout and really enjoyed the food. The Salt and Pepper Chicken is quite authentic and is similar to what I have had in Ximending or at night markets in Taipei. The second item I ordered was the Sausage & Minced Pork w/ Egg on Rice which was absolutely phenomenal. Great overall flavour, qq and umami.

Will definitely be back as it is the best overall Taiwanese food in the area.

One of the best bbt places in mississauga. Love the fresh fruit tea both cold and hot, and the hokkaido milk tea. If you like floral stuff, try their rose or lavender tea. I'm sad they closed down the downtown and markham locations.

They also have food options which are great to pair with the drinks.

The atmosphere is laid back and the staff is super friendly. Fun spot to hang out when their isn't a covid shut down.

The atmosphere and service are amazing here! The food is really good and the drinks and desserts are delicious with really pretty presentation.

In love with their Shaved Mango ice and the stellar Affogato, really loved the coffee Jelly. Great casual spot.

Mixed fresh fruit from Green Grotto was Absolutely refreshing. Just apt for a tiring day or hot summer day! It’s from one of their specials. Love the place, it has a variety of other options too that I plan on trying soon.

I always love their drinks! Very flavorful strawberry slush and it’s my go-to place for the kumquat lemon chia drink. Can’t wait for them to open indoor!

I absolutely love this place! Green grotto is near me and whenever I feel like I need a break, I would come here. The staff here is great as well! I haven't really ate there but I would always grab a bubble tea and once in a while get their mango crepe cake, it's the BEST!

Bubble tea is always excellent, wait times are short for orders to be ready, and the few times ive had snacks/food here theyve been great. They also seem to constantly have a special on for take out orders, so prices are very fair as well.

Good Location. Best bubble tea around and the only place I know of in the GTA that has hakkaido milk tea.

This place is usual good but they messed up my order today. No tapioca (even though I paid for it). Unfortunately it was too hot I couldn't try until I got home, and found out there was no tapioca. I also asked for 50% sugar, but it tasted like 200% sugar. Such a waste of the trip to pick it up during this pandemic: (

I am eating this right in the middle. My Wife and I have been coming here for a very long time. We ordered food and sat down on August 21,2020. Long store short, we ordered shaved ice cream right after and the forgot about our order. After we asked them if they put in our order, they said they did not and that they forgot. After that we were like "can we get it? ". They said yes. After a minute or so waitress came back to us and said we had to scan the display menu in order to order it. We said "we just ordered it and it's already late
Why do we need to do this now? "Then she said it's okay. We will do it this time but next time you have to order here (which we never did for our food)

My husband bought two teas and spring rolls. Tea was good but veggie spring roll was old and not fresh, he eat two rolls and he start have diarrea and he throw up and the end.

Love this place! The staff are always really nice and the bubble tea tastes amazing. I really like their tapioca and how they have mini and large tapioca. One time my cup broke while I was trying to put the straw in (mostly my fault) but they were super nice and made me another drink free of charge!

A nice place when you want a quick meal and bubble tea for a quite decent price. Always love this place. They used to give free popcorn but I don't know if they've continued that as of late.

Great little place never knew existed, food was great, service was great and bubble tea was exceptional ;p definitely a great place to go if your looking for a small meal.

Very interesting spot, busy late. Many options on the menu. Good place for groups to spend the evening, talking, cards, etc. Drinks were delicious!

One of the best places to chill or do laptop work. They have WiFi and charging ports. Large menu of teas, bubble tea, small food items, cake slices. They give you free popcorn when you dine in. Take out also available.

Tea was good and the recommendation the server made was good. I was however dissappointed that we didn't get a check on our drinks and they forgot to bring one of our drinks despite being only two of us. Also, we didn't get popcorn that seemed to be on every table but ours. Will probably stick to spending our money at Sugar Marmalade or The Alley.

I am the a Taiwanes lady.the attemsphore of the restaurant is very good.milk tea tests good and very similar ones in Taiwan. I order dry noddle.the only downside is the noddle is kinds of dry with limited sauce.however I request the waitress to add some more sauces.the lady help me immediately.the best part of the restaurant is the services and ettamesphore! Vwry pleasure lunch experience.

I've been going to this place for 4+ years. Great to hang out and they've always been excellent with customer service.

We came here on Christmas day with 22 people the minute they opened. They were so accommodating. Great selection of hot and cold drinks, lovely space, also offers free wifi.

Really neat little spot. Was looking for some Taiwanese food while in Canada. This was the closest to me. The decor is very trendy, like what you would see at trendy cafes in Taiwan. The salt and pepper chicken was fried perfectly and didnt taste too oily. Nice and crisp though lightly breaded on the outside and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was just right. The 3 cup chicken was very good, although it didnt taste like your traditional 3 cup chicken. It tasted more like a standard braised chicken 红燒. There also wasn't any thai basil in either dish like they're supposed to have. But the food was still delicious and came out super quickly. They also had other taiwanese staples like braised pig's feet, minced pork with rice, chicken leg meals, etc. Would highly recommend if you're craving some Taiwanese food.

Thanks for Lady Mia who has found and kept my lost wallet last night when we finished dinner in Green Grotto in Mississauga. I really appreciate for Mia's assistance which save me a lot of trouble to report lost ID cards and credit cards. With so friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend.

I love this place to study or for date it’s such a vibe, but their service is not consistance.

I go there for the past year and now I’m coming to a conclusion that I like the place no doubt but not all the staff members are nice.

They offer free popcorn once you sit on the table which is nice but they’re not consistant with that!
Once we had a problem with the food we ordered and they didn’t deal with it properly.
One of the RULES they have which I think it’s very important to know before you go there is that every person on the table has to order if you’re four on the table and everyone ordered but the one person they would come to you and ask you to order.

Other than that It’s not bad

Great little place for some bubble tea. I usually get the Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea with Tapioca! This place also serves food, but gives popcorn for free even if you only buy a drink. Right up there among my favourite bubble tea places in Mississauga! I would recommend if you haven't been here yet!

Nice service with lots drink n tea options lil different menu than usual casual dinings, yes they serve complimentary pop corn

I highly recommend this place because it has amazing bubble tea and very delicious sides like the taro butter toast, red bean pancakes and taiwanese sausage! Very good overall, however it was a bit pricey.

Amazing selection.
Their choice of bubble teas is simply amazing. I only tried one dessert, but it was outstanding. Taiwanese version of French toast done with condensed milk. Beautiful. Delicious.
I highly recommend this place if you love bubble tea and desserts because I don't think there is anything that can approach their selection and taste of East Asian treats and sweets.

The tapioca tasted kind of off, and the mango slush was just ok. I wouldn't come back for it. The atmosphere is really really nice, and I would maybe come in sometime to try something else and just study
