Green Lane Animal Hospital

This is by far the best clinic I have ever been to. Compassionate, unbelievable team of people. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful, and a huge shout out to Dr Herzog who takes the BEST care of my cats.

We have been clients at Green Lane for many years now, and we have nothing but praise! Our Brandy presented Dr. Herzog and the staff at Green Lane with puzzling symptoms this year. They quickly got to the bottom of the issue and started her on treatment that has restored her energy and zest for life. Throughout the diagnostic and surgical process, everyone was so kind and supportive. Simply an amazing clinic!

The Green Lane team deserves more than 5 stars.
Our old pug has been having some health issues and they have been nothing but supportive.

Reception/Assistant team have always been overly friendly, communicative, and great at their job of booking, sending notes and files, giving updates etc!

Vet Techs are always on the ball as well. Ensuring that our boys safety and well being is their top concern. All procedures and diagnostics are done with the utmost detail and care which is exactly what every owner wants for their pets! (we were even lucky enough to get some very cute pictures which made our hearts melt and really showed how much these people love their job, take pride in the work they do and how much they love their patients).

The Vets, which we have been lucky enough to see 3 - all dedicated to our fella. All of them are personable, friendly, have great attention to detail and have been able to explain things in a way that someone with medical training can comprehend, and to explain things in a way that others could understand too is so great. The time and detail that they have put into treatment plans and direction with care is such a good feeling knowing that so many brilliant minds are working together to help our loved one.

And to the managers and owners of Green Lane, thank you for setting up such a welcoming clinic and bringing on such amazing people who truly care about what they do. The vetmed industry is a very tough one right now and the people you have on your team are very special and my family (humans and furred) are very lucky to have these people caring for us.

I would not take my pets anywhere else. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, determined, caring, attentive, kind and personable team for you & your pets - this place is it!

Our fur baby Dexter is a new patient at Green Lane. Last week, he unexpectedly blocked up and we had to take to an emergency clinic for 24 hour care. The staff at Green Lane have been unbelievable throughout. Jen at the front followed up daily to make sure our baby was feeling ok… she is amazing! Kat has been supportive, Dr. Sean took his time to answer all of my post emerg clinic questions and offer the necessary help to keep out baby healthy and comfortable. Knowledgeable staff and we are so lucky to have found them. Thank you all sooo much!

Uschi loved the chill atmosphere of Green Lane. She also loved all the loving she received from everyone there. Thank you Dr. Herzog for all of your kindness and patience answering all of my questions.

A special Thank you to Dr. Harley English-Dixon for helping me make the right decision for my sweet “Diggy” to remove the huge tumour he had in his belly, and just like that saving his life on a Friday afternoon of the long weekend of Canada day!
He is recovering well from the very complex surgery, and we, are so lucky to have won him back for a couple of more years (I hope).

Lifesavers! I'm on my way to Quebec and realized while stopped for a pit stop that I grabbed the opened vial of my dogs insulin instead of the new unopened one. I knew I wouldn't have enough for our trip so I contacted Green Lane and they were not only able to fill a vial for me, they did it so quickly! 100% recommend and will definitely use them if I'm ever in the area again! Thank you!

Love this one animal hospital so much, finally find the best one after seeing two animal clinical, everyone in Greenland is so nice and caring, they put pet healthy in the first priority, and give the result soon. In my case, my puppy needs external parasite control. Highly recommend this animal hospital.

Green Lane Animal Hospital is not the same practice since Dr. Tara Sermer has left. Don’t go. The Practice Manager, Heather, literally gave me a lecture of why their doctors would not be able to talk to me in person about any diagnosis because they called once and I was not able to pickup a call lol!

I have been with this clinic ever since my dog Dooloo was a puppy (11.5 y.o. Now).

My dog was having heart murmurs and did a chest and abdominal ultrasound and subsequently prescribed with heart medication (totaled cost: $2, xxx).

Dr Harley left me a detailed voice mail for diagnosis. I have further indicated to the clinic that I needed to talk to the doctor in person/via phone so that I can ask questions. Finally got to talk to Dr Harley via phone. She was nice on the phone. However, when I picked the heart medication, I cannot even get some further guidance or get my questions answered even when the doctor was at the clinic. The receptionist kept referring me to check my VM. Sorry, I don’t agree having medical consultation on voice mails or emails. I thought patients have rights to ask questions? All I ask for is the clinic to set up a time frame (ie 2-5pm) for the doctor to call me and discuss and answer my questions. Looks like it is not a reasonable ask for Green Lane lol.

Anyways, if anyone likes medical consultations via VM and emails ONLY. This is the clinic you bring your pets to.

A professional group works in this hospital, everything is clean and organized, the doctors are very good and they are very knowledgeable, all the people who work there are a great group who love animals and have good behavior. I recommend this hospital for your pet

These wonderful people take great care of my Bower. They listen and provide great advice. Always very friendly and it’s apparent they love what they do. Thank you!

Don’t know why I haven't written a review sooner. Greenlane Animal hospital is top tier, I have been taking my frenchie to them for close to 3 years now, as well as many other family pets. All the staff at Greenlane are incredibly professional but also very kind & caring on a personal level for both client and pet. From follow up phone calls, stories of my dog hanging out with staff, and reassuring assistance, I know that ill only be taking my pets to Greenlane Animal Hospital:)

Dr. English-Dixon was so friendly and professional with my pup Ziggy. The atmosphere of the clinic was great and the girls at the front desk were very sweet and professional as well. Everyone overall was just so friendly and I’m glad we’ve found such an amazing team!:)

We brought our dog here last minute as he was in a lot of pain. In his last hour he (and we) were met with kindness, love and support from the whole team. The room was setup beautifully and we were comforted by the fact that we were doing the right thing in a warm and loving space. The vet was also gentle, kind and reassuring. Our puppy will be missed forever but when we do decide to open our hearts to another, there is nowhere else we will consider.

8 years of loving dog care, all the staff is so kind and I always get a follow up call after RINGO has seen the Vet. No issues ever!

I can hug my dog again because of the wonderful staff! They are a genuinely caring group of people who are there to help your animals and not find ways to bill you for extra money. They are very patient and understanding.

Trustworthy animal hospital! First time having to take my cat in for an acute issue and I highly recommend Green Lane for anyone addressing a cats health concerns for the first time. My cat had bladder stones. I did a bit of research regarding my nearby vets, and Green Lane was the hospital that got him in quickly and took fantastic care of him. They were very clear with me about what he needed and what it would cost. I really felt as though they loved animals and wanted to do the best they could for both animal and owner. Very caring and fair animal hospital. Staff are great! Dr. Sermer was amazing and took great care (and patience)!

It’s a good vet but just like the rest of them when they say hey let’s try this it’s coming out of your pocket and before u know it a check up cost u 200
