Wouldn’t even give 1 star. Called to inquire about something that I saw listed online. Individual who answered the phone was extremely rude and didn’t help in any way possible. Avoid at all costs. Many other scrapyards in the GTA that deserve your money more than this place.

They're very disrespectful and most of all the worst place to order parts from.

Never answer their phone. Voice mail not activated and when they do answer the person is extremely rude. It looks like they are money launderers. The business is just a cover up.

Was going to buy a 2012 Cadillac SRX engine off them but not only after reading the reviews but even worse their responses in broken English I’ll just buy a new car

This company is terrible they lie and cheat and steal don't ever buy a part here they are rude hang up on you block your calls stuff other wreckers wouldn't do they do I am bringing the police the better business Bureau and the police there to sue them they lie the owner lives in another country them he died then he's back they keep saying he'll call and never does trust me go somewhere else these guys are scam artist and should be shut down

The person responding to the reviews needs to understand your in canada you need to go to ESL and english class while your at it maybe some spelling lessons for sure LMAO

I own an European automotive repair shop in Niagara Falls and we deal with Green Lane quite often. My experience was always positive, I have no complaints. But then again, we don't call in to ask for a used radiator hose or other little inexpensive parts.

I wish there was a way to review customers too as I have a lot of these time wasters and "Internet mechanics" calling the shop and asking how much to fix a check engine light or walk in with a list of fault codes and expecting me to tell them what the problem is.

Others bring in their used or Internet purchased parts and get upset when we refuse to install them, or some random people showing up at my shop and expecting me to adjust their tire pressures on the spot and for free. Lots of these "customers" will get a one star review.

The asian guy who works here and picks up calls should be fired. Should really learn how to speak with proper manners. Will never come here for business.

Sold me a used engine said had 90 day warranty when mechanic put engine in the engine light came on and said timing chain issue if they would have told us before could have fixed it before putting it in
Called and asked them to fix ot they said the don't warranty timing belts or chains
Imagine selling engines with no chains or belts
Every other wreckers I called said the do warranty them or don't sell them if theirs a problem called for months to ask the to either fix it or get some money back got the run around telling me owner doesn't live in the country so now I'll Giles complaints and sue

Horrible customer service, rude and arrogant. I asked if they keep inventory on their cars and he didn’t even know what that was. And apparently they only have Japanese cars. Which is weird.

Worst customer service over the phone. They don't pick up and if they did they hang up on you before you finish.its a farm.

Truly terrible customer experience. I called them to ask about certain parts for my car. No clear details of what's available or what's not. The staff just refused to answer and hung up instantly.

I was in an urgent need for a new headlight assembly for my Acura TL. Nick was friendly, knowledgeable and gave me a very reasonable deal. Nick even offered to find a buyer for my current light assembly.

Will definitely be back in the future when I need parts.

Nick was the only guy who asked me about the paint code and model of vehicle. He was honest and willing to work around my schedule to pick up my trunk lid. Don't bother calling around. Call him first!

I call and ask if they have anything for a 2009 Dodge Caliber. Guy responded with "we don't have American car" Then hangs up on me as I had 3 Japanese cars I needed parts for. Wouldn't answer as I tried calling back twice.

Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. The owner should buy a gumball machine instead of a shop.

Feels like you gotta take a shower after dealing with the guy on the phone.he shoots questions at you, but doesn't answer any of yours (the customer). Extremely direct & aggressive. I know it's an auto wreckers, but the guy I dealt with over the phone is the most unprofessional guy I've spoken with out of the handful I called this morning; uncomfortable enough for me to look the business up and write this review.

There was some issue with the hinge of my wife’s car, so she needs to replace it soon. I was out of the town that day. I called Green Lane Auto wreckers and explained to them my problem. They assured me to deliver the same to my house and in addition to that suggested the best person get it fixed from. I recommend them to all.

We were supposed to go for the road trip, and all of a sudden, my mechanic told me to get one of the spare part repaired. I was not sure how to get it instantly. But he told me to contact Green Lane Auto wreckers. Soon they supplied my auto mechanic with the same. Thank you guys, for making my trip possible.

I own a auto repair shop and this place is my first choice to call when i need a part, they are number 1, from import to domstic they have them all, or they will find your part if they don't.i will recommand them 100%.

They ask $150 for a shift knob thats the same price at the Mercedes dealership gave me. No wonder they have the worst review!

Terrible Place, avoid if possible. Appalling customer service and terrible pricing. They're charging $50 more than the dealer price for a used part and when this was pointed out they hung up the phone.

Called few times to ask if they are open, and got hung up after 2 seconds very rude they fight over the phone do not even try to call them or give them any business they are probably have lots of money and don’t need any business.

Worst possible customer service ever! A place that treats there customers like this should be shut down! Been in the business for 20 years and never ever been treated so poorly, we purchase 20k in parts a month gave these guys a try and I wouldn’t deal with them even if they were 50% cheaper then the next guy,

The ad instructed to call Mike. Mike wasn't in. The older man who answered was rude as heck. If you need parts, you are better off buying a whole car, pull what you need and wreck the rest

Called twice and got hung up on both times. I was calling for prices on parts and they gave me the number and hung up. I get the comments about how the sales people are rude. I can't comment in the quality of parts as I refuse to go to this shop based on these 2 simple calls.

Called prior to pick up a part and was told that he had it in stock. Drove all the way out to pick it up and he didn't have it. I was then told that he can only get it if I pay a deposit. Wasted my time. Definitely would not recomend

Just called for bmw engine price, quick quote, good price.
He is a busy guy, to make everthing go smoothly, know exactly what your looking for and try to be quick.dealt with him before and will deal again

How can you have a business running with such bad sales staff. There prices are off the roof and they are rude as hell. I am not an individual. I am an employee of a major used car dealer. Well they lost my business for ever.

Very unprofessional, unreliable and dishonest. Bought a few parts from them about a year ago but he didn't have one in stock at the time. He told me he gets my kind of car in all the tine and it would only take a week or 2 until he gets it.

So me being too trusting, paid him in full before getting everything.

First few weeks he told me he'll get it soon.

Next few months he stopped answering until I got a friend to call him. Of course he answered.

Next month's after that another fellow named Joseph would answer and tell me the guys in Ottawa and to call back next week. I followed his instructions and of course he never answered.

Last month he told me he would just fix my existing part by sending me to one of his friends. Since then I've never heard from him again.

Would rate negative stars if possible.

Guy on the phone really didn’t seem like he wants people calling. Not pleasant, polite or cheerful.

DO NOT GO HERE! Horrible person to deal with. Told him numerous times what car I have and if his part would work. He was 100% sure. Told me if it doesn't he'll refund my money. Of course it was wrong. Guess what, no refund. Went back 3 times and he said he doesn't have the cash on him. I let it go, but everyone else should avoid at all cost. Just look at his replies to people. Fake 5 star reviews. Use the money to get a better hair transplant loser.

Hung up the phone before i could ask any questions and had a rude attitude. Very poor customer service.

Honest work and fair prices with quality products!

I've used Green Lane Auto Parts (GLAP) services for ~8 years now and i'm a returning customer each and every time my car needs a part because they're knowledgeable, up-front, their prices are fair and things get done with no hassle.

They don’t rip you off unlike other places. I have ordered substantial auto parts from here, list includes headlight, brakes, sensors and to a very recent purchase of an AC compressor and they've always done a great job in processing my order. I always get excellent service with no surprises. If you ask the right questions they always take time to give some great tips too and explains what to look out for. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to be a serious buyer in order to get his attention. Other than that I can't recommend these guys enough!

I continue to go there and have recommended Green Lane Auto Parts to several friends.

Not very helpful on the phone. Looks like the guy wants your money first and then you have a choice of the parts. Asks you to call back and when you do tells you that the parts are sold.
Read an earlier post where he told the customer to go to Canadian Tire for mats and even went on to call the Customer names.

Rude guy on the phone, doesn’t not know how to deal to customers. If the item is sold then take it of the kiji. I would give them 0 start but no option for that.

I called and asked for my acura a.c compressor and Nick gave me the best price I can ask for (he also gave me another $20 off AFTER I paid him). When I got there he was very friendly and he got me the part within a minute. He then referred me to a mechanic in the same plaza for installation which was very convenient and because I mentioned to the mechanic that nick referred me there they gave me a discount on labour.so overall I saved 1/3 of my money coming to Nick compare to few other places that I went to. To all the negative reviews about him being bad on the phone.he may sound rushy on the phone because he could be very busy with his business, but in person he will go the extra mile to make his customers happy and come back. If you are calling to bargain and give non sense offer then don’t waste your and especially HIS time. Once again very good service and I’m definitely saving his number for future need.
P.s the mechanic that Nick referred me to was very helpful and trustworthy too. Thanks Nick!
