The experience of this landfill scent is open to each individual’s subjective experience. While some may find it abhorrent, I personally find the aroma is an acquired taste and worthy of mindful consideration.

Even with my windows up and air off this toxic smell spills into my car every single time I drive by on the 401. I seriously try to hold my breath as much as I can until I get past the area. And it's just getting worse! This can't be safe!

Smells absolutely rancid on the 401 - something is seriously wrong with the management of this facility. Should be shut down. Everyone who can should file a formal complaint. Can’t imagine living close to this.

I have had nothing but negative experiences dealing with this landfill Ann Hiscock had no clue how to manage a landfill and the Minstry of the Envioment won’t return phone calls complaining about the odour.

I constantly reporting odour issues to Ann Hiscock and she keeps telling there’s nothing wrong please if your being bombarded with landfill odours please call 1 eight hundred - two six five - seven six seven two Minstery of the Enviroment

Was driving out there around 5 am and noticed this bright glowing light coming from the landfill.not sure if theyre illegally burning off excess gas or garbage

Just drove past on the 401, and omg what a horrid smell. How big is this place, because the smell was strong for quite a distance!?

I wish I could give it less than 1 star. You can spell the place for like a 10km radius. Aweful rotten egg/sulfur smell.

As a truck driver from the states I drive by enough oil refineries to recognize the smell, so there is definitely something going on at this landfill. The smell is horrifyingly noxious just driving by.

The smell is horrible to drive by on the 401 and I can only imagine how much the local residents despise this.

Roll your window down and have a good haul of this stank air as you drive by, might clear up any ailments you have! Just make sure to have a good grip on the wheel in case you go sideways!

The Thames Valley Trail system begins next to this Toronto Landfill site. I don’t recommend walking there. The smell was unbelievably foul! I wasn’t sure if the toxic smell was dangerous to breathe in so I covered my face till I got to my car. Shame on you Toronto for dumping your trash on the doorstep of our local farmers and our First Nations People!

Horrific smell of toxins. Painful to inhale, highly contaminate odors. Smells like they are burning tires at night. Should be reported.
