Maybe I disturbed the conversation the sales team was having but I was “helped” or should I say “directed” by one particular employee with sarcasm or arrogance. I will look for another John Deere supplier. No matter how far!

Disappointed in their service and inability to get a lawn mower started.

Brought in an older Toro, self-propelled electric start, Recycler II lawnmower, because I could not start it, did not have the time to fiddle with it. I decided to take it somewhere where they do equipment sales and maintenance for a living. I was the original owner of the lawnmower and it may have had 100 to 150 hours use on it.

When I went to pick it up, they had partially disassembled it and told me that it was too old to fix and told me that charge to look at it was approximately $35.00.

They were going to return it to me partially disassembled. I refused to take it that way, stating that it was the equivalent of taking your car to the shop and the shop removing your spark plugs, starter, etc, to do a diagnosis, then invoice you for taking the parts off and return it to you disassembled

I told them that I considered that poor service, so.after some back and forth, they reassembled what they took off, I paid their invoice for taking parts off my machine and brought it home.

When I found the time, and it took me about an hour and a half, I took off the carburetor, made sure none of the passages were clogged, cleaned up the ignition components, gapped them, put some fuel in it and it started right away.

As an equipment owner I would expect the people who call themselves professionals to be able to do minor tuneups, and if they don't know how, then admit it and not charge customers to disassemble the equipment and give it back disassembled.

Not only that, but they told me it was too old to fix after they disassembled it. You would think they would have advised me up front that it would be too old to fix instead of doing a partial disassembly, in what appears to be a justification for the $35.00 charge.

For more than twelve years the service department has been servicing my Sears snow thrower. Now, because parts are no longer available, they will not even change the oil!

Terrible service, I go for service sthil Ts400 concrete saw, , they say engine broken, need to replace new engine or buy new saw,
Then I go to other shop and they fix it in 50$ only.

I recently purchased Honda snowblower from this store and the process was simple and smooth.
Salesman Neil was a pleasure to deal with. The machine was ready to go at the scheduled time and it was loaded into my truck for me. A+ service!
