This is our third time ordering. The sod is top notch. The service is always professional and courteous and with prompt delivery.

Great in and out. Guys helped me load my sod to go. Nice and fresh. Went down well. Now it's up to me to keep it alive, lol.

Can you please share details and rationale for the clear cut of trees that occurred on your property recently? How many acres? How many trees? It is very distressing that Greenhorizons thought it wise to raze a healthy, mature woodlot in Mount Hope in order to plant sod, which in itself is a detriment to insect species under threat from loss of habitat. Replanting saplings elsewhere does not compensate for the loss of the mature stand and the ecological services that it provided. This is a concerning occurrence and a blot on Greenhorizon's record, especially given that we are in a climate emergency and the city has a commitment to plant thousands of trees to play it's part in mitigation efforts.

I use to buy from them top soil for the past 15 years. Expensive but good quality. Two days ago I bought 19 sod rollers. About 5 were dry and broken. I was very disappointed. I wouldn't buy anymore from them.

This is a great organization. I have used their services in 2 cities. The ordering process either online or on the phone is very customer-friendly and helpful. The delivery time and process is excellent. The delivery details are communicated very well and very clear. The quality of the soil and the pre-fertilized sod is excellent. Every step of the way and every person involved from ordering to delivery is service oriented. Very impressive and I’d highly recommend.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
If I could give no stars I would! Ordered 300sqft (31 rolls) for my back yard. I payed $40 for delivery and I informed the female on the phone I would like to be here, she told me it would be dropped of between 1 and 6. I had it dropped off at 9: 30 in the morning (way earlier than the time I was told) not to mention they dumped it in my FRONT YARD! They didn't bother to knock and just threw it in the yard! (I live in a bad area, last year we had our plant stolen out of the ground.so leaving rolled sod isn't the smartest thing to do) After they decided enough was put in the front they backed into my driveway and threw the rest of it at the end of my driveway (where I originally wanted it) The men that dropped it off were not even wearing PPE! I live with my 66 year old father with health issues so to have him be in contact with them while not wearing a mask in a PANDEMIC! Is outrageous. After my daughter called me to come home early from work because they had just thrown all the sod everywhere and drove away too fast for her to talk to them. I Called them to state my concerns, I was transferred and then hung up on! (great customer service guys really.not) The young man I was talking to wasn't much help, I repeated many things to him and he asked me the most pointless questions, I eventually asked for a refund on delivery but was declined. I used to be a loyal customer.think ill look somewhere else for the next batch

Sod is top quality. Fresh, not dried out like other places.
I appreciated getting the email notification, with picture, of the sod being delivered!

Ordering online was extremely easy, but what we have found particularly helpful is the follow up emails. We've received the email on the proper preparation and installation of the new sod, as well as watering/mowing schedules and things to look for in the weeks following the installation. When it comes time to laying sod in our backyard, I certainly know where to go to order. Thanks!

Great experience. I made an error ordering online, but called, zero hold time and the gentleman fixed my error quickly. Not a long time to wait until delivery. Great instructions on installing sod properly. Sod delivered was super fresh and great quality. Came early enough that I had the six-hour window that they recommend to install the grass. Skid was picked up automatically the next day without my having to call. Highly recommend these folks for grass and would definitely use them again!

Ordering takes longer than expected and same with picking up but they sell a good quality product. Just wish they were open on Sundays!

My only note was that it would have been useful to know that the company was coming to actually get the skid the next day I happened to be outside (admiring my lawn while enjoying neighbours jealous stares) when the truck pulled up piled with other skids so I was able to go and find the skid that I had put in my garage

Other than that (which was really nothing) everything was great

Easy to order and they delivered on time. The sod was in great condition and it was the best price i found. They also have some really good pointers online to ensure the grass takes hold. There really is no reason to buy sod from any other supplier.
