Greens

I would have to say, by far one of my most disappointing outings for vegan food. I've heard nothing but rave reviews for this establishment so my experience may have been a one off. I have eaten here once before (previous experience was a 5/10), but decided to give it another chance as I always found the atmosphere and decor quite charming (plus they have exceptional vegan grocery options, even though too overpriced). However I digress.

I ordered a "hot Nashvilled" tofu sandwitch with a potato leek soup as my side. I could not finish either of them. The soup tasted like it just some gravy (devoid of any potato flavor) with some leeks floating in it; so salty I had to stop eating a couple bites in. The sandwitch was beyond bland, the only thing I really tasted was the pickle and the mayo; whole thing was just greasy. I dont mean to be cruel, but the most flavorful thing about this meal, is the juicy irony that my hard earned cash was exchanged for a lazily thrown together meal.
Will not be returning (for take out that is)

First off I didn't realize that this place was vegan when I first found it. But wow, what a surprise. Everything was absolutely delicious. I also have different dietary needs, such as gluten free and various oils and the food here is so wholesome that I didn't have to worry. My waitress also confirmed everything. I had the bang bang brussel sprouts salad which had the best combo of flavors. My husband had a smoothie, coffee, and the eggplant parm. Needless to say we were impressed. The quality is top notch. Although we are from MI, we will drive back over the border to get here! They have an extensive menu of food and drinks to choose from and a mini market. Amazing!

Cute little restaurant. One stop shop for vegan food and other little vegan goodies as well.

Great place for taking someone for brunch and dinner (especially the lights in the evening). Great customer service, nice and friendly with great recommendations!

What a great experience. My family & I went out to eat before they leave town, and I have never been here despite the only one being local lol. We all tried something different, and we were all incredibly impressed with the food. Not only would I have probably normally not visited a vegan restaurant, but they wanted to try it out. And I can definitely say I will 100% be back. That was probably one of the best meals I've had.in a long time!

Delicious food, beautifully presented and served in a gorgeous location. The menu has plenty of options including salads, wraps, mains, charcuterie and much more. A fantastic drink offering, and yummy desserts. Tall bottle of chilled water is a nice touch, and the vegetarian pantry has plenty of take-home items to choose from. A mini art gallery and yoga classes onsite as well. Looking forward to our next visit! This would be a great date night spot for a meal and live music.

Greens just hosted my wedding and it was the most perfect night! The owner was absolutely amazing, made it all come together so easily and seamlessly. The food was amazing, the staff was amazing, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

My favorite restaurant in Sarnia. Even my non-vegan friends & family love greens. The kale soup is so addicting. The grocery section is great for take home options you won't find at your grocery store.

Atmosphere and service are both 5 stars to compliment the amazing food.

I usually come here pretty often with my family because being someone who doesn't eat meat or eggs it really limits our dining options. However, my family genuinely enjoys eating here even though they are not vegan or vegetarian. Perfect example - for Thanksgiving we came here. It's a very liberal place and definitely has more of a young vibe. During Thanksgiving they had a guitar player there and he was really belting it out and the servers didn't really ask him to quiet his amplifier. However, we didn't say anything either so that's our bad. Don't hesitate to bring your grandma or your aunt's or uncles or anybody who eats meat here because they'll find something that they like. The chicken Caesar wrap is always good for everyone.

This place could possibly have Sarnia's best hot chocolate! Not too sweet, or syrupy like most places around have, and a very nice real chocolate flavour. I'm not sure if it was with almond or oat milk but it was perfect for my walk along the riverfront.

I love this place! The ambience is excellent - perfect for chilling with a coffee and book, or working, or having a nice little lunch/dinner out. The staff are all so nice and helpful and easy to talk to. Their canteen is stocked full of yummy pantry and frozen items. Coming to greens feels great.

Their menu changes frequently and everything I've had is fresh and delicious - love the tacos, kombucha on tap, the coffee, and the baked goods are fantastic.

Greens restaurant was a pleasant surprise to discover. Everything we have tried from the menu is delicious, fresh, and healthy, no disappointments so far and we have tried 3/4 of the menu. The service staff is friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable of the food they are offering with daily and seasonal specials as well. I get it if Vegan is not your thing, and we are recent (3 months) of eating no animal products, but I still think hands down for price and flavor and uniquely crafted dishes, that they are one of the best restaurants in Sarnia-Lambton.

Five stars for the aesthetic of the restaurant, the friendly staff (thanks Jaime!), Variety of menu options, and delicious ones I chose. Vegans and non vegans would love the flavours and choices of drinks.
Chick'n Parm sandwich, mac and cheese, peanut butter chocolate tart, and bourbon apple pie were all fantastic

Gorgeous restaurant with great vegan pantry options and menu. The service was super friendly and prompt, and the food was incredible - fresh, generous portions, and unique options. This has been and will continue to be a must-visit spot every time we’re in Sarnia.

We aren't from Sarnia, but this gem was worth the drive! Excellent atmosphere, service, and the food was just absolutely delicious! Some very nice, healthy and lighter options, as well as some guilty pleasure foods are offered. There were also gluten-free options. We also really appreciated the store items being offered there as well, vegan cheeses, "meats", chocolate treats, and more. Highly recommend!

I recently took my friend that was from out of town and it was incredible the service was amazing. The staff were super friendly and welcoming I will be returning

Luv curry so ordered the curry bowl which happened to be the “pay what you want” feature that day. While it was a generous portion, it was terrible tasting nothing like curry. Just an overpowering spice that I couldn’t identify. Tried 2 or 3 tastes and couldn’t eat it. Told the waitress it tasted bad. She apologized and offered to pack it up for me to take home. But the kicker was she charged me full price, and didn’t even ask me what I wanted to pay for it as she was supposed to do regardless. I paid the full price and left the full bowl on the table, never to return to this place again. Very disappointed with food quality and dishonesty of waitress.

My husband, teenage son and I had dinner here while visiting Sarnia for a baseball tournament. We eat a vegan diet so everything on the menu sounded appealing to us, but any omnivore is sure to enjoy as there are a lot of choices. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. We had cobb salad, enchiladas, chik'n nachos, kale soup, a kale-mango smoothie, and sangrias. Everything was exceptional.

Options are good we try a different thing pretty much each time we go. My brother is gluten sensitive and dairy free and he's throughly enjoyed finding good tasting good that fills him up. Definitely recommend the Mac n cheese bites.

Beautiful, inviting space, outstanding service, and the best vegan food I have ever had. After a 45 km bike trek, my husband and I were both famished and we were sure we could eat everything we ordered (sharing platter for us, burrito special for him and spinach and strawberry salad for me) but the portions were huge and so we took home plenty of leftovers for the next day. So many delicious choices! Lovely wine list too! Can't wait to return!

The mac and cheese is absolutely delicious - and those cinnamon buns they make on Sunday morning are the bomb. Service is always super friendly and fast. I love this place!

Every time I eat here I'm legitimately blown away. I've never had anything I didn't like.
The staff are so friendly, the little grocery section is stocked with some really great stuff, and they've got so many fun kombucha flavours on tap.

My sister and i tried their food for the first time and it was FIRE! So good, my sister had the avocado eggs brunch special and i had the fire and ice wrap and the turmeric shake and we were honestly blown away.whoever is in charge of the menu is doing an amazing job:) we’ll definitely be coming back when indoor dining is available.you all are doing a great job at greens!

I've never had a bad meal here. The tempeh wings are to die for and the house kale soup is super flavorful. I'm not a vegetarian but I never miss the meat in the dishes I've had. The owner and the staff are super friendly and I've always felt super safe during Covid.

Wow. Whatever you do, go here to eat. Gorgeous interiorsuosr friendly staff and mouthwatering food. My teenager and I were here from London for an appointment and saw this place to try. I would drive the hour just to come here in future. There is everything you could want.groceries, delicious treats, drinks and stunningly delicious food. The staff were SO friendly and helpful.down to earth and happy people Great job

I had the vegan fish and chips (Hearts of palm) and I have to say I think Greens has the best French fries in town. Better than bridge fries.

As a meat and potatoes kind of person, this is not really my kind of place but wow, totally surprised and impressed. Excellent menu with many options, super friendly staff and fresh food bursting with flavour. Nice, quiet atmosphere and relaxing patio. Exciting weekly specials and fabulous tacos on Tuesday. Took a little too long for food to arrive but it was hot, fresh and delicious when it did. Will try here again before lowering the rating for slow service. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Best vegan restaurant in Sarnia hands down, and one of the best restaurants overall. Fantastic, flavourful, and filling food. Drinks are amazing, service is fast and efficient. Literally the first time I've ever ordered dessert at a restaurant because their food was so good I knew I wouldn't be let down- and I wasn't. Greens is the best!

Very nice and cozy place to eat! Good food and they got nice selection of groceries essential like cheese, meats, chipotle mayo, and much more. Nice local vegan restaurant. I am their new regulars!

We have been going to greens for years now. It is a delicious restaurant that will please vegans and non-veggies. The new location is gorgeous and offers much needed space for such a lovely restaurant. The owner is top notch and always goes above and beyond for us. Issues with meals are rare and far between and quickly made right by the owner. Every experience there is great for us and I am a big fan of the daily specials. Excited to enjoy more of the new location and new meals!

Tried this hidden gem for the first time today. Shared the spinach and artichoke dip and tried the trio. 100% recommend. Friendly staff and amazing options, I will definitely be back!

I have ordered a bunch of their dishes during the pandemic. If you want to have a proper meal and feel good afterwards then I recommend the Caesar salad and juices.
