We purchased a Condo which turned out to be a nightmare of complicated paperwork and problems with the Mortgage Company and Lawyers Office. Greg and Chantelle were our Saving Grace, they were the people we knew we could count on, and it seemed, the only people who really understood what was going on. We were in no hurry to sell and we wanted to wait for the right house for us. Greg was patient, after 4 years off and on looking we found it! UPDATE: Having fully completed the whole process of purchase and sale with Greg's team, I did find that we were more pleased with the sale side vs the purchase. Greg took the extra steps and was kind to provide us with a cleaner and an interior designer to help us stage our home and present it as the best it could be. He did overshoot our expectations for what we could get for the sale of our home which was disappointing, but he did negotiate well with the buyers well so we received an acceptable offer.

However; on the purchasing side, we found that he did not go to the same lengths in helping us face some of the challenges moving into our new home. Some of the issues stemmed from using his referred mortgage broker - Mary - Anne Demarchie, who initially was very responsive, but towards the end, we found very difficult to work with. It took multiple days to get a response from her, it felt like we had to chase her down for multiple issues, not very detail oriented as I requested many document corrections for signing, and finally, when it came to liaising with our mortgage company, it was very last minute and the rate negotiated was incorrect which led to a delay for us receiving our keys on closing. Very frustrating to work with since we were referred to her, expecting her services to have been vetted for us.

Apart from that, when we got the keys for our home, we were shocked by the state that the previous owners left it in (unclean, filthy, garbage and some belongings remained) and we were told nothing could be done and he gave us a contact for a cleaning service. Learning from this, I will always request for a "broom-swept" condition clause upon possession which was not suggested upon our purchase.

Moving alone is stressful enough, but having to deal with all these hiccups added to it. We did not feel supported or well prepared for any of these issues. I realize that some of these challenges are not the fault of Greg and his team, but there was a feeling of disappointment that the experience wasn't as smooth as promised and we noticed that the relationship felt more cold after the transaction was completed and the deal was "finished"

When we decided to sell our house we were recommended Greg and his team. He and Noelly walked us through the process of preparing our house to put it on the market. During a month long process they sent us a painter, cleaners and a stager to ready the house. They were always there for us when we needed information or guidance. They helped us through the listing process and after six days they secured us a very favourable offer which we accepted. We enjoyed working with them and thank them and their entire team for all the effort and support we had to sell the house. A special thanks to Noelly for her patience and guidance for all our questions and inquiries throughout the whole process.
